Accept animals. It is a place mui cozy that you can carry children already k you have a lot of animals, and a lot of space.

We stayed at the Pazo Santa Maria in 2014 and have always wanted to visit again. This week we did.
There is something very serene about this hotel. It is very peaceful and relaxing. There are several beautifully-decorated lounges and terraces outside, so you can enjoy a drink in or out. Garden with wonderful views.
The restaurant is very good (a bit of a lack of menu choices and some communication problems while we were there but it was right at the end of the season).
Rooms were great, extremely comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. There did seem to be a couple of problems with the heating, however.
Breakfasts were amazing! Just about everything you could think of, cooked or cold, with gluten-free and healthy options.
The staff are very helpful too.
Can't wait to go back again!

I have had the privilege and pleasure of staying here twice on my Camino travels. It is quite simply an oasis of peace, tranquillity, luxury, warmth, calm and rest. The service is excellent and the food is absolutely to die for. You won't find better anywhere on your Camino (or even in Santiago de Compostela itself). Give yourself an extra day of rest here if you can — it will be totally worth it!.

Very good atmosphere and attention. Extra points for the beauty of your surroundings. Room and dependencies very comfortable. Good price. There would be a lack of technological details in the communications between the rooms and service places. The menu can get better. Good table services.

Amazingly wonderful, place to relax and forget about the mundane noise for at least a week, historic site, breathtaking views, environment of peace and tranquility, exquisite food, excellent service, good treatment… to repeat.

We loved the Pazo. It's beautiful and well kept. The room was very clean and the room was very nice and the breakfast was excellent. We ate and dined right there. Maybe the letter a little scarce but that if… this all Buenisimo! Recommended 100% because we know we will go again. If you look for tranquility you see there!

A real pleasure to have enjoyed a pazo that is like a small village where you feel so comfortable in the room as in the gardens, where there is an impressive tranquility, especially in the evenings, and in which you are treated in a way so close and enjoyable that a weekend becomes extremely short and does not make you want to leave. Absolutely recommended, (you know that you are already on my list), and we will return. Thank you so much.

Listen, if you desire the absolute best accommodations, service and atmosphere along The Camino, please deeply consider Pazo Santa Maria as your ultimate choice. The staff is better than any American 5 star resort, breakfast and tapas are exceptional while overlooking "The Versailles" of northern Spain. The property is uniquely located hilltop with gorgeous views, twilight comfort and fine wines to choose from. This property has all the right ingredients for an ideal stay abroad. … from a global traveler.

Really a blast. It's been a long time since I was in such a beautiful place, so well taken care of in detail. The staff a 12, because 10 would fall short. They pamper you and are pending every last detail. If you're going through that place, I'll recommend it 100%. We've been three people and we all feel the same way. Simply excellent.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Fantastic views from the Terrace and a cozy atmosphere in the lounge area with a great open log fire. Our room was wonderful and our evening meal was excellent. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. A great night on our Camino journey. Thank you for the experience. Hopefully we'll come back.

What a delight to see this beautiful property after walking 20 miles on the Camino de Santiago. We were spoiled by the excellent service. Our quiet, homey room (with bath tub) was perfect. The time relaxing with wine and other pilgrims and enjoying a delicious meal was the best we have experienced so far. After a good nights sleep we enjoyed a bountiful breakfast before a new day. I highly recommend this resort!

What can I say about this place except it's an oasis. The food was a much needed break from bocadillos and pulpo, and was is seriously some of the best I ate in the whole Camino. We had fried eggplant (very light and delicious) with local cheese. An amazing carrot soup. Excellent spinach ravioli and a plus lamb. I really loved everything about this place. It felt like you were in a small villa.

This place is fantastic! The service is excellent and the staff speaks English well. They have a laundry service and wonderful food. The grounds are very rustic and well-renovated. Go sit in the lobby and enjoy the fireplace and the sofas :)
