May I share my negative comments first? Thank you. Smokers galore and they don't care who shares their Duty Free Cigarettes. Almost all of the Hotel guests were of German origin and don't give a monkeys wither you suffer. Puff, Puff, Puff is all you see and the stench is extremely overpowering when mixed with the smell of food. OMG even the Hotel doors at reception and the Dining area had "No Smoking" on the doors but they were left OPEN and the cigarette smoke leached into the those areas. Eat your excellent food and taste the smoke at the same time, YUCK. Have a beer in the Piano/Sports lounge as it's non smoking but HEY WAIT, that door is also open and the smokers benches are immediately outside, all 12 of them. Ignorant manners at the Bar because you are asked first by the Barmaid what you want to drink. Shock Horror, the verbal abuse I received was "Schiessen". But hey we can forgive the Germans for their bad attitude. Say "hello, good morning" in English and they quite literally look at the ground as opposed to saying "Morgan" as a few did. Again Thank you. Forget the larger pool and the smokers and move to the middle or shallow pool if you want to sun yourself in comfort, smoke free as most of the parents around that area do care for the health of their children and therefore for your health. Smoke free. Please ensure you reciprocate that ideal. Adult Animation team are ever so good in all aspects of their work and special praise goes to : Everyone one of the 7 are worthy of extra special praise. If you want excellent entertainment then be prepared to join in with them in every activity including the Evening Shows. Bingo! Yeah that sounds daft but what a wonderful, unusual time you have at 4pm and please shout and clap or join in with the Evening shows. Audience participation is everything and it is expected but never frowned upon unless you have an easily embarrassed partner. The Room Maids, I can not fault. Excellence in every way so be sure to show your appreciation to them for the clean bedding and towels that they give you every day. Reception? Now for the final part. Good is all they get from me because at 5pm my coach was due to take me to the airport for an 8pm flight. It never arrived. Reception told me it was delayed and at 6.20pm I was still not out of the Hotel. 120 Euros in a Private Taxi got my Wife and I to the Airport and though the Check-In gate was closed we were escorted through Security and joined the last of the people to board. A Hotel courtesy car would have been nice but now we are fighting to have our money reimbursed. All in all it was a good holiday in an excellent Hotel but I cannot forgive the Germans for their anti social behavior of always puffing away mindlessly on the Duty Free Cigarettes and not giving a Monkeys about others.
