I recommend it for its location, the staff very attentive and friendly, they have treated us very well, the large rooms and the 4 pools and the garden they have is amazing, and being next to the beach a real paradise, I have been 8 days and I would repeat again, I thank all the staff because they deserve a 10 in everything, Thanks a lot.

Truly THE BEST HOTEL in Fuerteventura. We stayed here for 7 amazing days and we couldn't have asked for a better value for money, service, location and atmosphere. We loved every second of our holiday and would like to say a massive THANK YOU to all the staff for their hard work in ensuring that everything was perfect throughout our stay.

We were off on a romantic break 5 nights of relaxing and rebooting. We arrived at hotel and the woman checking us in was very rude it took over 30mins as she kept answering the phone while talking to us. 3 other couples were checked in by one other staff member before we were done. We got to the room and 1st thing we noticed was the beds were made up as 2 singles even though we had requested double. I asked at the desk to get it made up as a double and the obliged which was lovely. The food was very average but for all inclusive I suppose you cannot expect much. The omelette man at breakfast was great! Very funny. We noticed people reserved pool chairs with there towels from about 630am we were lucky to find a couple throughout the day. Some people must have gone out all day and still left towels there found it very rude. Also there was construction going on poolside, I feel we should have been made aware of this before booking as it wasn't relaxing having a jackhammer going on all day. The all inclusive was good however there was hardly ever anyone at the pool bar and if there was they were reluctant to serve you. Also found a massive dead cockroach in our room. Which remained for the entire stay. Overall it was a beautiful area but we were thoroughly let down by service etc.

A 4 star hotel that is falling apart situated in a glorious location. We were utterly dismayed this is still a 4 star. The toilet handle kept falling off, both the sink and the shower did not drain properly, the lamps next to the bed had a worn out mechanism so they kept falling out of the holder and turning on by themselves in the night. And this was after we changed rooms 3 times! The staff was trying to be helpful but there was not enough if them. The rooms were 'cleaned' in record time: towels were obviously thrown on a rack, the bedsheets were not straightened and buckets with cleaning scrubbers were left behind in the room (a good sign we thought…). Horrible accustics in the dining room for the "masses" combined again with a lack of staff who were not able to keep up with proper clean up. The quality of the food was not to standard. Great cafeteria for families with children though as nobody cares if food gets thrown about. Again: the staff tried to be helpful, but not enough of them. The location is gorgeous. If you don't care about quality of rooms, food and ambience, go for it. We had expected more from a Meliá as we have stayed in others before. The photo of the lamp says it all: that silver ring? It's not art. It's just falling apart like the rest.

Great location for wind and kitesurfing. Can easily combine sports and family time. Good food, clean, good service. Some more kids activities and facilities would be great (relatively small playground and cold water pools right now).

I had Never been treated the way I was treated at this hotel. I Went into his pool and the chlorine left me blind one whole day, one day, yes, without being able to open my eyes,. When going to ask for help from reception they told us little less that we us life, that there was no doctor and that if we wanted to go to a hospital, and then they started to tend to other people leaving me abandoned and stuck in my room, in the dark because it stung me So much so that I couldn't open my eyes until the day after. It'S A quirky hotel, it looks even fancy but when you can't cater to your own customers with the basic media I think it should be investigated.

Location is stunning — the hotel looks out onto the lagoon & perfect blue seas and sand dunes. The walk to the beach is easy and quick & great facilities for windsurfing. (at least I assume, i'm a little too chicken to give it a try myself, but it seems easily the best attraction here). Pool is saltwater, lovely and spacious and has some pretty poolside scenery and friendly cats! It could be a little better well kept in and around the pool. It's pretty perfect for sunbathing however. The rooms are pretty, with plenty space & soft lighting, with sunbeds on a balcony. The beds are like… sleeping on clouds. We stayed in the hotel as all-inclusive, but this was the underwhelming part of the experience for me; the food was both decent but lacking variety day-to-day, with piss-poor attention to cleanliness & service. There could also be more than two elevators.

I spent a week at this hotel and the balance sheet is more than positive.
To start the location is perfect, the beach is large spacious, clean.
The parking in the vicinity of the hotel is of great use as no stress to rent a car and even less to park.
The rooms are functional and comfortable, I confirm a bit of dilapidated but that does not alter the comfort of your stay.
The restaurant offers a varied buffet and adapted to your eating habits.
I will finish this comment by thanking the entire team of the hotel and I would particularly like to thank the bartender for a sensational kindness and humour, Victorino!

Hotel aging and few activities. Direct access to the beach is the best!

Count + 1h bus to join the airport to the hotel.
Positives: 3 swimming pools including a special children, another swimming pool is being renovated.

Very fast access to the beach which is beautiful.
Beware of Fuerteventura The wind blows not bad!
There are lots of sunbeds, frankly the never seen, it's nice!
There are also a lot of indoor and outdoor sanitary, which are very clean.
Many shady corners and very well maintained tree parks.

The all inclusive is top, it's not local alcohol or low-end, it's brand negative Points:d years its vast majority the staff (servers/home) is not at all pleasant, see mocking, they are surely disturbed…
Restaurant side… Everything stays at room temperature but then everything! For hours, I let you imagine the quality and taste of fish, mayonnaise, … After 3h to + 25 °…

The rooms are antiquated, the hotel was created in 1978, so I guess there haven't been too many changes since. The quality of the bed for children in the family room is very average (adult bedding niquel).
The bathroom is also to be redone quickly…
At the hotel there are rooms with sea view (at the top) and the other North side (cold, wind that rushes…).

The hotel has a very good location surrounded by beach and in front of the lagoon of Fuerteventura. The rooms need a renovation, and the stairs and lifts to the beach need an upgrade. They have new rooms in a block attached to the hotel. It is advisable to take the option of all inclusive since in the surroundings there is nothing. The pool and the gardens are an oasis. Ideal to relax for a few days.

The Hotel Melia ' Gorriones has come a long time ago. Some of the rooms are very comfortable. On our arrival we changed the first room due to mould in the bathroom. The renovation was actually planned over the coming winter but was postponed due to repostings after the hurricane in Cuba etc. In addition, the 2nd pool was closed some time ago and was built in October 2017 and covered with lounge chairs. The extensive sandy beach and the surf-and kite station, located in front of the hotel, are the only reason to book for many, especially for water sports. You can reach the nearest town in about 4 km. The kite station was also for me the only reason to book.
April 2018 the sport was the one who led us here once more. After the hotel appears to be a new name and a new management, there has been some positive change here. Obviously, many negative recessions have helped to change some things. The 2nd pool, which has been closed for a long time, is currently being renovated. In addition, we have noticed positively that the evening buffet provides nimble hands of service personnel for an always sufficient offer of different dishes and other delicacies. A compliment to the service team. However, the canteen character and the associated background noise are still negative. Of Flair unfortunately no trace. Perhaps the outstanding renovations will bring the many changes desired among others. Rooms & Bathroom renovation etc.

My stay at Easter this year was wonderful. The. Spectacular food with lots of variety and the staff fantastic as the facilities… I give it a 10 because there is no more. I have gone to this wonderful hotel five times and will repeat if I can.

I booked a double room and I was not given, I was offered a single room x two people really shabby, which I rfiutato. I do not understand why the frontoffice with the hotel incomplete did not give then a room upgrade since they were at fault or make the double bed, very poor professionalism. I note that I booked for 13 days in three hotels of the same chain Melia and I also took the card as a customer of the same. Do you have what it takes? Thank you waiting answer yours sincerely.

My husband and I stayed at this property for a whole week enjoying the full of the fantastic scenery and great structure. The all inclusive solution made us comfortable and satisfied. The buffet is not exaggerated but full of choices and excellent quality. The best food varieties are definitely to be appreciated for strictly freshest meat and fish. Great mileage great for very long walks a mix between sport and relax for those who love quiet and non-hectic places.

The truth is that it is quite isolated and although they are reforming some parts, others would need a major reform as it is a bit outdated. The staff is very friendly and they solve any problem very quickly. I would stay there again if I return by the island of Fuerteventura.

Like staying at an NCP carpark Beach really good but no bars restaurants near. Bar in hotel shut every night at the same time and guests ushered out. Very little to do is quite an understatement. Adult luxe hotel it is not. The restaurant is like a canteen inside the building but if you are fortunate outside is ok. Gym was shut for the full week we were there.

Amazing hotel, one of the best choices for Fuerteventura. It has very nice rooms, a tennis court with a sea view, pool bars, and lots more. Only disadvantages: The Wi-Fi is not very reliable but works mostly, even at the beach. Also, the Breakfast buffet is truly perfect, but for dinner I would recommend to go to the local restaurants in Costa Calma. But we enjoyed one of our most beautiful holidays here! ♡

The hotel offers everything that is needed, but is particularly distinguished by its proximity to wind and Kitespot. Also worth mentioning is the rich and good selection of food, as well as the offered sports program. The hotel has its years behind it, which does not lead to any restrictions.

Nice hotel in an ideal location right on the kilometre Long Beach! The rooms are good the sea view is great. The entire hotel with its outdoor facilities is consistently clean. The choice of buffet, whether at breakfast or dinner, is plentiful. In particular, the scrambled eggs from Manolo already make the first smile at breakfast!

At the moment construction work. After consulting the hotel, we were assured by the tour operator that there is no construction noise and that the pool has 24 degrees water temperature. Beautiful hotel on the ocean. Nice pools. The food (but this is my opinion) is not the best. Very good staff Remember that we are on the ocean: when you get off the stairs to go to the beach, take a nice walk and come back, you may find the highest tide. Inform yourself first.

The hotel itself is in an amazing location along a long strip of beach, which at certain times of month becomes a lovely shallow lagoon. The breeze is great for windsurfers and kitesurfers, and there are facilities at the hotel to rent gear and lessons, we didn't try but everyone who did looked thrilled! The hotel itself is gorgeous, clean, and the staff are super friendly. We had an all inclusive package, and the buffets were varied and delicious, with veggie and meat choices changing for each meal as well as kid friendly items such as pasta, chicken nuggets, and chips. A large cured meats and cheeses as well as bread and desserts at each meal (even breakfast! ) Beer, wine, and cava is all self service at the buffet and pool bar for all inclusive guests. The room was large and spacious, and I would agree that the extra amount charged for a sea or lagoon view is worth it. The pool was large, well kept, and had plenty of sun loungers, although it is not heated so a bit nippy in winter! The landscaping is very lush, in stark contrast to most of Fuerteventura which is largely scrub desert. You can walk along the coast north to the area of Costa Calma, which is mostly other hotels all smushed together. Taxis to the port of Moro Jables in the south, which has seaside cafes and a large public beach cost about €30 one way. Alternatively you can rent a car from directly inside the hotel for about €56 for the day.

Good beach, passable food but gets boring quickly, good dessert though, location is OK, room good, Pedro is the best egg guy, not sure why there were ants in the bathroom, good pools, kids everywhere however, slightly annoying, hotel mainly full of Germans, but most people have some grasp of English.

Here it is very windy! Therefore ideal for surf and Kitesportler! The hotel is a bit older and it is still being grown, which is not very disturbing. The building is, however, far away from the nearest village!

Great pool area. Close to Beach. The Beach is great, White sand and Cristal clear water. Breakfast is very good, enjoy it outdoor on the terrace. Lunch is also very nice also best enjoyed outside right alongside the pool. Dinner could be approved a lot, with nice dim lightning, candles and so forth and better prepared food and a better variety of food to choose from. All in all, a great place, if you are planning a longer stay (like we did 14 days) a car is well needed since you are little bit isolated just the hotel, pool and the beach.

Reception great. The rooms in the time of a were cold, no heating. The old toilets. The restaurant I was only breakfast was a lot of variety but medium/low quality. To be a Melià 4 star a sufficient justito. Heavenly Place.

Good buffet, swimming pools and location. There is a lot of wind on the beach so you have to take advantage of the day that is good. The beautiful beach with the lagoons, ideal for families. They close the bar soon. Lots of bugs.

The rooms are large and well furnished, however, the décor has come a little over the years. The hotel complex is also designed for children and creative. The style is rather sporty, since the hotel is a surf school (Rene Egli).

Exceptionally located hotel! A quiet place, near a big lagoon. Depending on the tide, it can be dry, and can be filled knee-deep with water. With the tide in the lagoon there are kiters.
Spacious rooms, great breakfasts and dinners.
There is a bus directly from the hotel to Morro Hable.

Very special Location. It overlooks a large beach that is mostly flooded with the tide. Long walks, but a little tricky to swim in the sea. Beautiful pools with sea water. Eat very good and varied.

The hotel is located next to a beautiful lagoon. Which is just accessable by walking downstairs. Also the hotel is ready for your wheelchair from the entrance to the beach. The four stars represent the hotels condition. Though it has some parts which need a little renovation. The bathroom and also the technical conditions like TV or AC which are old, at least in my room — which was the cheapest available. I do have seaview, which is great. The room offers a free electronic safe and has enough space for your values. The Parking next to the hotel is possible at any time, but don't expect a free space next to the entrance. The hotel offers many services for example kiteing or surfing. René Egli is next to the hotel and they offers a discount for guests. The timetable when the lagoon is filled with water is also available on René Eglis website. The pools are great. One whirlpool outside, a big pool (salt water), one sports pool and one for kids with waterslide. Also available Towel rental — Tennis — Spa — Mini Market — fashion shop — car rental by Europcar — doctor — laundry service — little club. The Spa offers massage, jacuzzi, turkish bath, peeling, facial treatments, manicure — pedicure, waxing and sauna. Complete program at the reception or in the room. They have three bars and two restaurants one for normal guest and one exclusive for guests of "The Level", all buffet. Busstop next to the entrance. Free bus to the Oasis Park.

4 day stay. Good food and great location if you want beach kite and windsurfing.

Large, clean rooms with amazing view through panoramic windows (sea, lagoon, and hills). Very friendly staff, wide selection of delicious food for both breakfast and dinner, very good selection of quality alcohols in all-inclusive option. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere (next town is 5 km away) so it's very quiet and peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful landscapes. The beach is huge and doesn't get crowded. There's a very good kite — and windsurfing school and rental (Rene Egli).

Nice structure, but I expected more.
The hotel loses a lot in detail, for example in many places the plaster falls from the ceiling and the rooms need a little ' more maintenance (in my the lamp continued to release from its support and turn on automatically).
It will be that I was in late October, but the animation did not exceed the 22 hours. 00. The staff is very prepared and available while total sins for the Wi-Fi that every thirty seconds was falling out of signal.

Secluded quiet place with a beautiful beach.
The hotel has some "children's diseases" which are balanced by good food and friendly staff.

Beware of bed bugs! We came back last week and completely stabbed. Thought it was the many annoying mosquitoes, but the suspicion of bed bug punctures has been confirmed!

WLAN only works in the lobby, food was O. K. The rooms, however, are very noisy and it goes partly to like on the battlefield. The staff were very friendly and helpful… but patience should always be brought with you:)

Some rooms recently renovated in the perfect style: we loved it. Balcony with a double seat in mattress with sea view and guarded glass body and ocean view. Beautiful. Superb beach during the week the tide changes and the beach is different every time and still beautiful.

Without its privileged position on the beach of Jandia, this hotel would have lost its notoriety on the dilapidated of some rooms, for the rest the complex is well maintained, especially the gardens.

So much scene but don't be fooled… The first room was overrun with cockroaches and ants. We ask to change it and give it a lower at the same price because they had no other availability. It doesn't seem correct to me. Also, the restaurant staff is very rude. Only positive note the beach which is fabulous.

No Wi-Fi in the room, 25 euros to wash some clothes of the kafard are present in the evening in the room and the billiards that are on the photos of the hotel does not exist.

The place has awesome views (if your room faces the lagoon). It is a hotel with an all-inclusive regime, but it is restricted unless you are Level. Level gets access to the best restaurants and to a choice of beer and wine (although the bear menu is limited: Cruzcampo, Heineken. Also Desperados at night). The food is great, great variety and quality. The only thing I disliked was the policy of trashing food if it is not consumed. There is a supermarket to buy essentials and the price is quite decent (quite unusual in hotels that are basically isolated and far from any town. However, I missed a vending machine for at least certain items, as insects repellent (the supermarket is not open 24 hours), and there are many mosquitos here… Also, the all-inclusive ends at 11 pm every day. Apparently this is commom around this area. Concerning the staff, all were very helpful and kind at all times.

Old-age hotel with a nose sting. The buffets are top pool and close to perfect beach. Lacks a bit of animation in the evening.

Possibly the best location on the island! Miles of beach and lagoons on the doorstep and for that reason, not overcrowded. Alfresco dining a problem with pigeons descending to pinch food!

Unique location, magnificent, spectacular, nice and comfortable structure, efficient services, with some small flaws… absolutely recommend!

Great hotel at great location: close to a lagoon which is excellent for kite — and wind surfing, or little kids to play in. Multiple salt water pools, and OK restaurant, but the latter can get crowded.

We enjoy the beach which stretches to the infinity on both sides of the hotel, the two pools (we went in February and we were able to bathe every day). All-inclusive buffets are correct and varied enough (we liked the pasta prepared live by Paco MIDI). The rooms are OK, no more, and start to date a bit. For families with children, the mini-club during the day and the mini-disco at the beginning of the evening are very valuable.

Great Spot for kit or windsurf, but to flee with family if you come to get some warmth. A wind to dehorn the devil!

For those who love nature and not the confusion great location Great Park il terno with swimming pools and other services garden cared for the smallest details, the beach wonderful, a little breezy, the food and cuisine great for all tastes, the staff friendly and helpful and Very professional, the rooms many spacious with all amenities, only flaw a bit the connection you take well at some points of the property, all in all I give it a nice 5 star deserves it.

The food great indeed impeccable, pool and place gorgeous gamers beautiful, the only flaw is the sofa bed a little uncomfortable and the night feels very wind from the rooms, but nice evenings with the shows that are there every night at the pub.

When we arrived, I thought this will be a great hotel and it was good, special thumbs up for the diving instructor Henrik. In the hotel, the first night, we had a broken balcony door which made a lot of noise with the wind, they said they didn't have another room with a double bed. Next day, they changed us to another similar room. This is all fine but when I go to a hotel of this price level and supposed class, I expect something more if one night is ruined due to poor facilities. The reception ladies promised to get back to us but didn't. Jacuzzis were spa (separate payment or with massage) & level (VIP) only, no room service, only two elevators which during the breakfast time took around 10 minutes to get anywhere. Breakfast was good with variety but the hall was rather noisy. In general, we had good holidays, rooms were good, beds good, nice view etc. But for this class and poor service mentality of the staff, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Depending on what kind of room you have. I would certainly recommend sea side view. Food is good though. Swimming pool is huge. Hotel is clean and loads of drink choices if you are on all inclusive. Kitesurf is close by. Good for family holidays.

We were housed in the Casa del Mar. Everything very clean, room service is exemplary! Staff in reception, dining room, etc. Very friendly and helpful, in Germany unfortunately often lack these properties! During our stay, my wife had a birthday and it was a bottle of champagne and two glasses in our room promptly. This is very thoughtful of the hotel and it was nice to us! Have been there in the pre-season time was quite empty in the hotel. Pool and hotel are in good shale. Had a nice clean room in one of the side buildings. Not much to do besides surfing in the direct surrounding, but a good place to relax for a week!

We were there a week and rather disappointed. The location is unique. I have a lot of on the world seen. But here it draws me back again and again. Hotel and Service is very ok. But in need of improvement. But I love this island and its inhabitants.

The best of the hotel is its location, with excellent views of the beach. The pool is large and is well-kept. As for the room, rather uncomfortable bed and old bath and little care (in the wc and the videt yellowish). Buffet breakfast-repetitive and low-quality, understaffed and little friendly (guess that the stress of the huge queues that form). Super Hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Large rooms with great views (sea view). Very large, well-maintained and beautiful plant, and you are right on the sea. The food is really varied, so something for every taste. Since the Hotel is a bit remote from the town of Costa Calma is, all around it is quiet and at night dark (no traffic/city lights or other annoying sounds/lighting), allowing you to relax and at night the starry sky. All in all a super Hotel, with great staff and nice environment. Only to recommend!

Everything has changed, hotel was good size and modern, the rooms were very spacious, but a small disadvantage was that we were ants in our room! Dining room was superb and the food tasted delicious! Beautiful large swimming pools, attractions and the beach was just gorgeous! TO RECOMMEND.

It is a hotel where the photos can be deceiving. In the photos is much more handsome than in reality. Rooms are small and the decoration already have some old, also had all the hotel smell of moisture. The area of garden and swimming pools are in very good condition. It is a hotel full of foreigners who take full advantage of the bracelet all inclusive. We were to spend the honeymoon and for doing nothing this great, because opposite beach is very quiet and they do many activities.
The people who trbaja in the hotel is very nice and friendly. There are live performances in various bars. Overnight at the hotel is very active and we enjoyed it very much.

It is the second time that I am going with my wife, two years ago and in September. Level, unfortunately if you are all included and don't want to be in queues you have to pay that plus, that is unquestionable, here and in china. It is a very family-friendly hotel, the 70 renovated. Not be such as the rest of the rooms but the level of this will very well at least in my case I don't drink. I asked all water and coca light and as watches daily in the minibar. Very neat, clean everything. This time, the second, not mosquitoes had the first mortal but ask in reception something and fixed. Broke me the lock and in 15 minutes all right.
The staff is great, waiters, at least at level a joy as did friends and everything. It is a 4 star do not forget it.
The worst, lifts, only two. But they are good stairs.
Better, the beaches are to enjoy, a beauty, a marvel unmatched.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR CELIAC
When we decided to spend the summer at this hotel. We chose it because of its location. It is ideal for rest, with wonderful views, a superb beach. And with a charming staff, all very attentive.
But we had assumed that my husband who is Celiac, it would be complicated with food, as it is customary everywhere that we go.
But our experience has been amazing, because Javi hotel chef has treated my husband superbly, giving you every day a special menu for it, thanks to Javi to achieve that we have passed a great holiday, without having to worry about the food all varied and delicious.

Very small gym — see all cannon. Air conditioning does not work. What no matter there devices not work anyway and therefore also no sports kannn. Nice beach infront of hotel but unusable! due to very strong wind. Wi-Fi very! Expansive and only in reception! Bad choice.

Actually the best choice out of 4 Hotels we tried in Fuerteventura, even though we had the cheapest room type. Yes, there are mosquitoes, but just close the door in the evening. However, outside it is very windy and thus not a problem. The food is actually far better than in other hotels. The restaurant is quite packed, but this always is the case with such big hotels. We also changed the room, but it was very good afterwards. So, regarding rooms and restaurant, best time to travel would be when the hotel is not fully booked. Else, direct and close access to huge and not very crowded beach, two big separate pools, nice rooms, modern bathroom, inexpensive minimarket. Only negative thing, most additional things cost extra (internet, beds at the bar, v level access).

Once again we were there early regular guests at Gorriones and now for 5 years. The secluded location on the huge sandy beaches is ideal for those who want no beaten track in Costa Calma, but peace and seclusion. The perfect wind-surfing conditions are the reason of our trip. You have to like the strong winds but above all in the summer. The pool area is still beautiful and lush planted. The pools themselves are, unfortunately, sometimes very strongly chlorinated. The rooms at the Casas del Mar (a separate bungalow resort pretty from the outside) are now very in need of renovation (rusted bathtubs, defective cabinets, located through beds, many ants). The rooms in the main House are mostly well renovated and OK (but it's just a skyscraper). The food at the buffet is average, the service depending on the employees very differently. In the main dining room there is a volume such as at the airport. Room service and the staff at the front desk are good.
