GBH Hostel Volcanic Beach

First off had lots of trouble finding the place. The main road was blocked off due to ongoing construction and the only way in wasn't displayed on Google maps. Then there's 3 different "volcanic beach" when you try to find it on Google maps, we went to all 3 but no sign of the hostel name or anything. Called the number on the booking and told the guy our location so he sent someone to show us where we will be staying. Only that person didn't speak any English so we were following her around trying to explain that we don't speak Spanish but she kept on talking and explaining everything in Spanish so we didn't understand anything she was saying. The place itself wasn't great either. There was a massive stack of mattresses in the corner of the living room and the private room with bathroom was very basic with no TV in the bedroom but only the shared areas. We left the same day and stayed somewhere else.

The apartment is shared with two more couples, there is intinidad no, the kitchen included a fridge is shared, you have to clean your, because they only get cleaned up when you enter and when you leave the apartment, only give you 1 towel median for each client and don't wash them, with that you dry every day that you're hosted, the pickup key will not give the owner of the house, she gives it to a lady cleaning the what is not explained as are the facilities or anything, do not warn the other clients of the same home who have more neighbors and we almost left in the street for a little information, the pillows are a waste seem to sheets and mattresses you tenon all of the springs are very uncomfortable, the legs of the bed are so thin that it seems like you'll fall because that moves all the images you have placed on the web has nothing to do with what is actually seen, leaves much to be desired, all facilities such as jacuzzi and sauna pay him to party, not worth, a greeting.

I am a single mother travelling with an 11 year old. The stay in one of his houses was one of the most frightening experiences travelling I had so far. Especially my son was terrified! The host will react defensive when asked to solve any problem and will retaliate inappropriately on any platform AFTER your stay. Check out any other platforms and read his reactions to proove my point! He will write made up stories that are extremely negative and will give extremely negative reviews on well known "online marketplaces and hospitality services", he will even go so far as to claim money back, more money that you spent on his rooms. He will argue about anything negative that you have to say and there is a lot. There is no Wi-Fi in all the houses. The host will blame it on you, your phone or something else and will never accept or admit a different explanation. An engineer that also rented a room in one of the houses explained, it is simply the antenna that doesn't cover the entire area. But the host will never admit to that. There are some appartments with utensils in the kitchen but some kitchens have NONE! I couldn't cook for my child and the host was extremely angry with me when I mentioned that to him. He never made an effort to help me out with this. He looks down upon women. Beware when you travel alone as a woman! Unless you travel with airbnb, where it is a policy for the host to be obligated to answer to emails, he will not react to calls or emails.
