Beautiful grounds with rich history.

A monastery very famous for Charles V, has a cloister in the entrance with fountain in the middle quite beautiful, then a room with very good pictures, then you go to the church that is inside, with a precious altarpiece that deserves to see, in the interior areas can not do R photos, then you pass even patio overlooking the pool and gardens very carefully everything. Then you enter the rooms of Carlos V where you can see the bedroom, hallway and other rooms I use, your bedroom gives directly to the church where you could from the bed listen to the masses. The gardens cannot be visited at least now but you can see and many trees with over 100 years huge. The only thing that €7 to enter is expensive as it is not much what you can see in less than 45 min you have finished the visit, that if there is mass you can not visit the church and is shorter.

We visited this monastery shortly after lunch, on a Thursday. There were few people, they parked easily and we paid the entrance, waiting for the guided tour that started shortly thereafter. The visit was nice and adequate. When we were out, about 5, we were surprised that there were hundreds of people waiting to enter, because access was free. The parking lot was saturated and made it hard to get out of there. Moral: Visit paying, is not so expensive and worth to know with tranquility this magnificent and historic place.
