The restaurant is a small thing but booking no problem. The food is very good with typical dishes of the area as always on the stops. Very nice service but a bit fair for the people we were with who didn't always arrive on time. They should have him look at the stops in general because it is a constant and deteriorates his image. Otherwise a good place if you travel along the beach route and want to make a good rest to eat.

The room was large, comfortable and very clean.
I really enjoyed the patio area where we had dinner. The service of the excellent dinner, local products of quality and very tasty.
When we arrived at the hotel we asked to packed a vegetable purée for the child's supper. When we went down to dinner the mash was ready and also very rich, a detail that we could ask for something out of the letter.
Rich breakfast but compared to other inns should put more variety of products.

Great Palace of the Dukes of fair, well preserved, attentive staff as always in paradores, large and comfortable rooms, with large bath and well conditioned, good food and well presented, (pity that we had to wait half an hour for the First course and another fifteen minutes for the second, I am a friend of Paradores and it is the first time that I spend) very good breakfasts and very complete.

Near the Castle Jolie Plaza Mayor.

Highly recommended and obligatory place to visit. The views are spectacular. It transports you to the Middle Ages. We were on a training day and went on our way through this place where we decided to make some pictures for the souvenir.

Family food. Very kind. Beautiful place. The spectacular crumbs almost like my mother's. We'll be back soon.

In the heart of the city. A cosy place that impresses by its architecture and that does not disappoint in any aspect. The rooms are spacious and have all kinds of amenities and in the dining room you can enjoy the best local cuisine. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer.

We came to eat, we had reservation and we didn't have the table ready. The waiters that yes, they are very friendly. The prices are overly expensive for the dishes we have ordered but being a parador is to be expected. When ordering the meat we were not asked how we wanted it and it was dry and very done. We won't repeat.

Almost all the Paradores, the building is worth, around a fortress with its towers, which can be visited. A dinner in the main courtyard, is also very nice when it's good weather, accompanied by the soft murmur of the water of the central fountain. The drawbacks are somewhat alien to the Parador, but we have had the misfortune of staying in rooms facing the main entrance of the hostel, where dozens of youths gather at night until wee hours of the morning, in banks, low walls of stone and own lawn. Is evident that in winter or with rain, such discomfort does not exist, I suppose, but I notice simply. Another negative thing, parking, which is outdoors, in the streets, but payment for hours, being downtown, so it's an additional fee required, and must be aware of renewing it if your stay lasts more than one night.

For the price this Parador was amazing. Big spacious room with several balconies that framed gorgeous views of Zafra. Giant bath tub was great for relaxing after a long day, the only problem was having to run the hot water for almost 15 minutes before it came out at a reasonable temperature. The restaurant was very good. The breakfast even better with made to order eggs and a buffet of fruit, breads, cereal, and bacon and sausage. My only complaint would be once inside, it didn't feel as old as it did on the outside. Though that could be for the better.

It is a Castle located in the old town of Zafra. The rooms are styled old (need reforms). The hostel includes a guided tour by the towers very interesting. The staff and very attentive service.

Compared to other paradores justito. Rather spartan and not have room service, inexcusable in a four star hotel.

The parador is beautiful to see it and have a coffee. But to stay the hotel Huerta Honda which is closely to the parador in the street is much better.

The beautiful building. The location. Well, harvest is not the site more beautiful in the world, but it's worth. The pool. In summer, a marvel, and visit the walls, very cool.
But. The reception staff is not the most pleasant of the world. I don't want red carpet, and adulation. Only a correct and kind treatment. And the friendliness was not excessive, and the feeling that were doing you a favor taking you there, was remarkable.
More but. The spacious room. Bath, 19th century, updated. Furniture, scarce, gave a soulless look to the room, the bed, not just small, but if in relation to the room, it was not not especially comfortable.
The big but. The only night we spent there (the town was for more, or feel like left us after that), returned from dinner late, about 1 in the morning. As we opened the door we find an unexpected visit, one is in the room. A cockroach. It was exterminated and expelled from the room, and we call on welcome to comment on the issue, because we seemed unlikely in an establishment of the category which is a Parador, a cockroach appeared. The response? "Well, and? ". With a creepy naturalness told us that good, that it was an old building and that it could happen. That as much we changed room within the same plant, but we will, it was not so.
If you can pass, cockroaches are not guests desired anywhere. Not in my house, on the beach, with all infested with them. And they are not.

I never thought that I would give him a discreet note to a hostel, but I think that Zafra's it has earned it.
I prefer to give the negative notes rather than the positive, so may be worth someone who read a review not to follow with positive part. I will try to be brief.

1 — This is circumstantial, but the person who had in reception pretty dry, more than usual in the House. We are friends of House and they did not offer us the typical aperitif.
2 — they have the issue of the parking lot well prepared. It is the area close to the parador of the ORA and charge you. In fact, the receptionist told us that they would charge us almost €10 at the exit of the parador for two days, without asking us if we wanted to park the car in that area.
3 — If they give you room 218, try to change it. The bathroom is tiny, and the horrific sights, give to a roof and just receives light. The parador is spectacular on the outside, and discreet, at least 218 room.
