Modular Rooms

I got the XXL capsule, which is a room with 3 capsules and a shared bathroom, and I think it was worth the night.
The bathroom has plenty of space and very well cleaned.
Well, like some other reviews here, the capsule is indeed a tiny shoebox. Me and my wife had to take turns to get dressed and open our suitcases, but it wasn`t that big of a deal since our goal was spending most of our time outside anyways.
The staff was pretty helpful and also let us store our lugagge way before checking in and even after checking out. They have lockers right at the front desk.
The location is AMAZING. Seriously. There are markets, subway stations, restaurants, bus stops and it’s less than 1km to the Gran Via with lots of things to do and see in between.

You sleep in pods. There are no windows in the pods for ventilation. You can open the doors but then there is no privacy. No aircon in pods, just extraction fans.

Good used for budget travellers. Plus point for early check-in at 11.00 am. No hotels/ hostels have this. Shared bathroom small and shower room drainage slow. Spacious shared pantry with equipment and crockery. Wooden sliding door for each capsule but scraping noise opening and closing. Noise could be heard for a person on the lower capsule when the person on the upper capsule crawls in or turns on the bed. Not recommended for light sleeper.

Good quality/price ratio but in a common room 1 year old babies can't be accepted.

The capsule itself is rather nice, it is spacious and the mattress is comfortable. It was not too hot inside and it did not feel claustrophobic. The location is good.
The shared bathroom though was very uncomfortable. Sinks are tiny, put very close to each other, with motion activated water taps that turn off the second you move your hand away and take many attempts to turn back on. All that cramped up in the same small room with toilets and showers.

Perfect place to stay for one or more nights. Capsulas have ventilation and TV inside and plenty of soccets.
There is a nice kitchen area downstairs where you can hang out any time of the day without disturbing other people. Also friendly helpful staff available 24/7.
Locker didnt work properly. Otherwise nothing to complain about! I am a happy customer ;)

This is where rats come to die! This was literally the worst experience I’ve ever had a Hotel. It was so bad I had to leave the last day and they wouldn’t refund me my money and I had to pay for another hotel. This isn’t anything modern. This is literally staying in a shoebox. The bathrooms were disgusting. It smelled terrible. The receptionist was horrible. I can’t say more bad things about it don’t do it to yourself. There are way better places to stay in Madrid that are exactly the same price.

Good location, close to several metro stations. You can walk to most of the sightseeing places you’d want to go in Madrid. The pod you get is cool if you’re planning on spending most of your day out and about and just using it as a place to sleep. Not much of a hang out space at all but again, if you’re just using it as a place to sleep then it’s all good.

Do not stay here. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.
I made a reservation and then 2 hours later needed to cancel. They refused to refund my money even though it was within 2 hours. I did not want to stay there but they forced me.
Then, when I got there, I was woken up in the morning at 0730 by POLICE banging on someone’s door, talking about lawyers and arrests. When I asked the front desk what happened, they LIED and said “routine inspection. ” I finally got the truth out of them — there was a criminal staying in the hostel who was being arrested for theft.
I felt very unsafe in the hostel after this and left with 3 nights remaining of my stay. They REFUSED to refund my money. I am not the only one who had this experience — two other young women left early and they refused to refund the money as well.
I stupidly paid €110 per night to stay in a tiny room the size of a king bed, down a set of stairs, with NO WINDOWS or natural light. It was like being trapped in a box. The bathrooms are crowded and shared between males and females. They were clean, but that’s the best thing I can say about this “hotel. ” The beautiful lobby that you see online is NOT what it looks like in real life.
This is NOT a safe area to be solo at night either.
I am absolutely FURIOUS that this hotel SCAMMED me out of €330 for a shoebox room and refused to refund me, stating that “it wasn’t possible.

This is an AMAZING Hostel in a PERFECT position with an awesome price.
I really recommend it!
Our room was perfectly clear, temperature was fine for sleeping (they keep AC on all night which is great) and the RGB lights in the room were amazing! Really helps you going to sleep and waking up without fatigue on the eyes.
The bathrooms were super clean! It didn't feel like an ordinary Hostel.
The kitchen is shared and there is all sort of stuff you may need available. The kitchen is always clean too!
The Staff was super kind and nice, really recommended!
