It's a lovely place, we went to a wedding and the place, the rooms, the service, the food, it was all perfect. In the village were parties and there was quite atmosphere, there is not much to visit in the village apart from the castle and the church. The rooms are large and well maintained.

Excellent place to dine/eat peacefully, with excellent attention and traditional dishes with an avant-garde touch elaborated in an impeccable way. Good product and prices according to the place.
It's one of the best in the area.

It is a very nice place. I was in a professional dinner and the menu was good but no deliceous. All the people was very kindly.

A cosy place, the visit to the Parador that make at 10:30 is highly recommended. It'S Beautiful, next to the Plaza Mayor. There are plenty of rooms that invite you to relax and relax.

Local neat and exquisite attention, amazing the quality of the piglet.
Notros we ordered as starters some calluses and deer carpaccio. And as a main course a piglet with potatoes, to finish we chose all the desserts (gluttons:) ). To drink we chose a Rivera, Emilio Moro.
Good value for money, as we ate 5 people and were completely satiated, for a total of €290 approximately. Knowing the history of the place along with its magnificent food and the customer service, I recommend it.

Absolute tranquility. Their wonderful food and they also offer you a free guided tour in the mornings at 10:30, every day. They have a lovely unique room which costs about €300 a night. Ideal for celebrating wedding banquets and also offering civil weddings.

I was in the cafeteria of the Parador on May 1st, which was festive, with two friends. We ordered 2 chocolate coffees and 1 coffee cut. It cost us 8, 10 euros.
The cafeteria is average, not particularly colorful. It has tables in the courtyard, which is the most spectacular perhaps, by the sound of the fountain. The service is slow as there is not enough staff. Although they have the command to ask for more or to ask for the bill, you play and play and it takes to come. And if we add to this that is more expensive than other sites… well, I'll think about it before I go back.

This parador is a very particular piece of history. The Parador is really beautiful, the gardens impressive and its pool great, with a towel service to all guests so if you stay here, forget to bring the towels for a dip. It has a nice restaurant and rooms to take a pica pica if you don't fancy dinner. Just a few steps from the central Plaza de Chinchón, it is perfect for a family break. It does not have parking, but it is quite simple to find square outside (as long as it is not the August parties, where the town is filled with local tourists). The rooms were those of the monks, with their original floor narrowing the halls of the convent to turn them into the bathrooms of the rooms.
Totally recommended.

Obviously it is a posh place but so the prices. Unfortunately they have very poor variety of anything but somehow compensate with the great taste and freshness of everything they serve you. I won't say that is a place for everyone due to the prices mostly and definitely not a place for families with little kids since the place is like an oasis of silence or a Spa sort of thing. I recommend it if you are not looking for tranquility and service but that will be it!

A beautiful hostel in a very nice enclave like Chinchón. The breakfast of the Parador leaves a little to be desired because the coffee is a bit bad it is very strong it is worth highlighting the comfort of the place the center of the same I would highlight Chinchón also the ethnographic museum which is very good for farming tools.

Very professional treatment: spacious and totally complete rooms with very good views. We had dinner there, asking for veal loin for two and it was very good and well prepared. Breakfast in plan buffet quite complete.
The Parador is located in the center of the village, next to the square, which is worth seeing.
There was a problem with the Wi-Fi by which we were asked for forgiveness from reception as it was a provider problem.
Every morning they offer a guided tour around the Parador which is also worth seeing.

Wonderful food and welcoming staff.

First of all, I want to tell everyone that the Hotel Parador is at a high level, although old. And it is clear in the old castle, and otherwise everything is fine for those who have no embarrassment in finances and he can spend for dinner about 100 euros per couple. But dinner is worth every cent spent! Everything is very tasty, the waiters are trained and serve you not imposing, but all timely professionally. Now a few negative moments are there for you.
1. The town of Chinchon is so-so, there are better cities in Spain, but not so original.
2. And I would put it first, in any case do not try to get to the town and then to the hotel without a navigator. On the way to the town there are no signs for it, only for 6.5 km. There's a little pointer on the turn and that's it! In the town nowhere there is no pointer to this hotel and you can just get lost in small and not convenient for traffic streets. So without a navigator neither nor …
3. All without exception cafes and restaurants are 50-60% more expensive than in other places!
We went around all the restaurants and didn't find cheap.
4. It is best to go here in early April and still take a warm jacket, knitted cap and even gloves.

Homemade and traditional cuisine restaurant. Very rich and tasty well cooked and presented. Traditional dishes piglets and lamb, calluses and crumbs, Ratatouille, the hands with chickpeas a delight. Delicious desserts. Friendly, professional and attentive service. Highly recommended.

A complete exquisite stew. Sorry to not be able to take the surplus for lack of tuppers (there was a lot of affluence). For the rest, outstanding.

The Parador is very close to the Plaza Mayor. Very cozy, clean, tidy. It has a central patio where you can enjoy having a snack (if the weather accompanies) the staff is lovely and very polite.

He day 12 of March, was with my couple eating in this Parador, I asked of first a salad warm of veal, and what was my surprise, that this salad had shells of nuts, with which is I broke a peak of a tooth.
Today April 30, I'm still waiting for the Parador, an apology.

We just went to the restaurant, nice and pleasant, fair, letter appealing, but the portions very, very slim. If you order roast suckling pig, salts with hunger. The chef must be anoresico.

We went to eat the typical cooked confident that a site so we do not defraudaría, but it was frightening, since the treatment of the waiters, passing by the food, a soup with no flavor that seemed water, rations scarce, and cheap wine, to get to the account disproportionate to the evil that we had eaten, totally disappointing.

I want to route by road, n° of Kms. From Colmenar Viejo to Povoa de Varzim. (in Portugal).

Absolutely wonderful! We were given a 2 night stay as a wedding present and chose this Parador for it's proximity to Madrid where we included another night's stay. The hotel is amazing, so beautiful with every attention to detail to make the rooms beautiful and comfortable. The staff were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble and they all spoke English! The breakfasts were delicious, so much choice and the scrambled eggs were fantastic. We paid to park in the underground car park but you could have parked on the streets further up from the hotel, or near the castle. The cost was only 23€ for the two days though, so we thought it was worth it. We both absolutely loved the hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

The Parador is as all a marvel For its views and the charm of the place without embsrgo nonpuedo say the same of his restaurant, the convent wue left me quite cold, although it is true that they had carte for celiacs, the menu and its making me resultsron quite bland, especially the hake.

Not we stayed at the parador but that we went to eat at El Bodegón restaurant cooked.
It is a menu with aperitif consisting of meatballs, pickles, olives and bacon.
Then they brought us soup with noodles, but be careful to lend you the broth with the pitcher.
Then they brought us a stew with chickpeas, beans, potato, chorizo, ham, a goose, bacon, chicken and Bacon sausage
And they finally brought us dessert.
If you want to wine and coffee are $ 5 more to the menu.
Everything was terrific and the amount is considerable.

A former convent in the centre of Chinchón, with beautiful corners both indoors and outdoors with its manicured gardens and fantastic swimming pool. Very good breakfast buffet and in the restaurant also eats well. Recommended.

The cafeteria of the parador has tables in the courtyard which makes especially pleasant experience to be able to taste coffees, teas or drinks with the sound of the fountain and the birds in the background and surrounded by green ;) More than recommended. The only but the prices of the coffees and teas: 2, €25: or.

At parador de Chinchon the gastronomic days of Taba stew held from October to April and it's a good excuse to go there.
Bottles of wine on the shelves, tablecloths of pictures, bread loaf and a two-story wooden trays to transport the full cooked. An enchanting no doubt place.

We decided to go to eat at El Bodegón, restaurant "solo" stew of the Parador of Chinchón. It has Prize to the most innovative cooking and is open from October to may. The cooked if it was itself very innovative, in two rollovers, with the overturning of the "meat" without fat (for what is usually a stew) and crayfish to give you know. All very tasty. Highly recommended and should book.

We were in it for many years. Shortly after starting to live in Madrid. The surroundings were very nice. We have not returned. A pity. We know it by its restaurant. One day we went to eat with the family in full. It was not planned but we encourage us. The food did not disappoint us but there were lots of people. Perhaps too much. The paradores de turismo are places that should take care of yourself and do not raise your closing.
