Hostal Central does not have its own parking. Guests note that finding a parking space in this area is quite difficult. A dedicated area for motorcycles is provided, located a few meters from the building.

The reception desk operates 24 hours a day. Opinions about the staff are divided: many guests describe the employees as polite, attentive, and friendly, noting their assistance with bookings and their proficiency in English. At the same time, there are complaints regarding a lack of empathy, rudeness, excessive rigidity in enforcing visiting rules, and even instances of improper handling of documents, such as staff photographing guests' passports.

The quality of the internet connection at the hostel is unstable. Some guests report a strong Wi-Fi signal in their rooms, while others complain of very weak reception in certain rooms.

The soundproofing at the hostel is rated negatively. Guests complain that almost everything is audible: conversations of roommates, water noise in the pipes, loud doors slamming, and staff conversations at the reception. The problem is particularly acute in the first-floor rooms, where noise from the entrance and the stairs disturbs sleep.

Reviews regarding the rooms vary significantly. Some guests describe the rooms as modern, clean, and comfortable. Others report very poor conditions: old and broken furniture, mold on the walls, holes in the walls, a lack of ventilation, and very small, uncomfortable beds with thin pillows. There were also mentions of dirty stains on pillowcases and living conditions that did not match the photographs on the website.

The view from the windows depends on the specific room. Some rooms have windows facing very small internal courtyards or directly against a blank wall, which creates a feeling of claustrophobia and limits the access of light.

Many visitors praise the hostel for its cleanliness and tidiness. However, there are also serious complaints: mentions of hair on the floor, dirty towels, mold in the mini-bars, and a lack of thorough cleaning, where staff only make the bed without sweeping the floor. One review mentions a smell of tobacco in the room, which they attempted to eliminate using an air humidifier.

Guests note the presence of air conditioners, with some describing their operation as effective. However, other reviews mention problems with odors from the sewage system and long wait times for hot water in the shower.

Rooms are equipped with a television, a table, a chair, a refrigerator, and toiletries (shower gel), but some guests noticed a lack of shampoo, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. Towels are provided, although their quality is questioned by some visitors (described as old or poorly absorbent).

There is no elevator at Hostal Central. To reach the reception and the rooms, one must climb a narrow staircase. This creates significant difficulties for people with limited mobility, parents with strollers, and guests with heavy luggage.

The atmosphere can be noisy due to poor soundproofing and staff activity at night. The hostel enforces strict rules: for example, it is forbidden to bring unregistered persons into the rooms, and bicycles are not allowed in the rooms, although guests noted that other visitors were permitted to do so.

Guests have encountered problems with refunds in cases of force majeure (for example, due to a storm and port closure). There are also complaints about unjustified charges for the first night when canceling a booking two weeks before arrival. Some visitors report a discrepancy between the price listed on Booking and the price requested on-site.
