Very busy place with lots of atmosphere. The food is really good with lots of regional dishes but it's quite expensive and they don't do a menu of the day. Well worth a visit though.

Very good food in the restaurant. Very old and poorly equipped rooms. If you get the first room you will hear a lot of car noises first thing in the morning. On my stay I was mistakenly woken up at 5 am.

Cozy atmosphere. I have been in the area for a drink with friends and the atmosphere is nice.
I can't say in the restaurant because I haven't been in their dining rooms and I haven't seen the menu or their dishes.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
My hope to go for a drink with friends is recommended.

Location was great except the noises coming from the near casino club at 2 am where pretty annoying. Rooms had great air conditioning, beds where decent, TV was horrible did not work properly could not even show the whole picture so you couldn't see the edges of anything. Staff was decent. Some of them where rude and tried to wake us up by calling our in room phone or knocking our door because they wanted to clean our room in the morning Free Wi-Fi is nice but it was not good at all. Rooms had no fridge which would have been nice to store some drinks. Bathrooms were horrible. The door was transparent and could not be locked, sink almost flooded everytime I ran the water for more than 5 seconds. Shower was confusing and badly desingned. The floor flooded when you took the shower. The switch to operate the temparute of the water didn't work at all. Sometimes it took more than 5 minutes for the water start getting warmer and then suddenly it got way too hot to even use.

This my third time now. Location wise it is pretty centric and nice to walk around, parking is not easy but possible with extra cost. Rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast has very limited variety (cheese, ham, omlette, cake, some fruits and yoghurt) but really good quality stuff. All in all not a bad hotel, also has a very classy restaurant for dinner but there is very limited guidance on anything, few people can speak english. Breakfast for example served on first floor but no sign or guidance, as their bar and restaurant on ground floor, I was trying to understand where the breakfast is served for 10 mins.

I spent a quarter of an hour sitting outside waiting for them to come out and attend me. I finally left. Another day I went to dinner. The place is somewhat outdated. The food was pretty good although the price is high.

Rooms are nice, well presented. Shower is good, bed comfortable, all that's fine. However, the walls are paper thin. I could hear next door's shower as though it was in my own room. And the restaurant is terrible — poor service, warm food, small portions. Definitely don't use that. Also, breakfast offers only a very limited selection, and you're served by the grand total of one waiter, who obviously can't attend to you as multiple waiters would. Not a good hotel IMO.

Good value for money Traditional dishes with a contemporary touch and a wide menu of desserts. A place not to lose in Granollers.

The attention was great! And the food was amazing, place wasn't too busy (it was Monday) and the desert trolley is simply to die for! Make sure you leave some space! ;)

I love going to eat at this place. All very good and the waiters are very attentive and friendly. The best the desserts that come in a cart and you can see them and choose the one you like. The portions are plentiful.

It was my first visit to the Fonda Europa to make a weekend meal. As in my previous visit (dinner), I have come out having paid excellent service, and a very good meal/desserts.
The room is cosy, from the tables in the area with dim and cozy light, to the bigger table and more lighting.
It's a rest. Recommended to go both for your own enjoyment and to take a visit.

It is an ideal place to go for dinner with the couple with friends or for professional events. The site has a very central location in Granollers. It is decorated in the old-fashioned but that's exactly why it is attractive. Excellent service and food a 10. I would definitely recommend it.

Very cozy place you seem to be in a 19th century palace. Excellent food and in quantities Decomunalea. Quality-Unbeatable price ratio. Very good selection of wines.

Our shower was not working correctly only negative. The room beautiful size and foam mattress to die for. Warm and lovely balcony with French doors.

Christmas Home meal in a group of Friends (23) of first a pike-pica. Full and very good, but the second course, which we had ordered Parellada Rice we had the ' surprise '. Past and overheated rice. Wines and Cava: correct. Dessert and Coffee Well.

Quality food. Ideal for a special day or for a dinner with customers. The food is simple but it is perfectly elaborate. The staff is very attentive and they cater to you in Catalan, Spanish and English.
Dinner Pica-pica of about 5 different dishes, followed by fillet to the Broix, desserts and wine came out for about €50 per person.

Together with the Fonda Espanya, the best fondas in Catalonia. Excellent for breakfast "de Forquilla" (fork). We went on a Thursday, to coincide with the formidable open-air market. Modernist building well adapted to our times inside.

Excellent service, quality/quantity that is always appreciated. We went to a family celebration in one of their private lounges, and ate in intimacy with the family. Not without receiving the utmost attention. Very grateful.

This is a review only about the restaurant. The place is charming, it reminds me of old times. It's a place where my grandfather used to go. At that time merchants, salespeople and other travellers used to set foot here to fill their stomacs not only with food and that has been going on so up untill today. Waiters dress the way all waiters should dress and the food quality is supreme. Typical catalan cusine. Must try during working days what they call, "El Menu del viatjant"… the salesman menu. Really worthy at an afordable price. Enjoy!

We celebrated yesterday, our anniversary… nice treatment. Correct attention, and the tuna tartare and the duck breast were delicious.

My initial impressions are good. Rooms are clean, if not a bit dated. Modern design has some strange choices: glass wall and door on bathroom (yes it is clear) and no door on shower (floors get wet). The bed is comfortable, the a/c works fine, decent Wi-Fi, and the restaurant is good. Can't wait to get out and sample the local area later this week. Look for an update.

Historic Hotel, at the centre of the city. High quality service. Rooms do show their age but everything is clean, quiet and carefully looked after.

I was eating in the restaurant of this hotel. The service was good and food delicious. It is a restaurant a little expensive but worthy. They have a plenty of room also.

Second time here. Amazing rooms / bathroom /shower. Can't fault it. Excellent price and very attentive, helpful staff. Will always stay here when in the area.

Well cared for and good quality dishes performed carefully and well. Great restaurant. Prices maybe a little high but nothing to say about the quality of the Chubb and the service offered. I could not say the hotel having only dined.

If it is not for lunch or dinner the service is not the best.

Classic restaurant where this is from Granollers, but I sincerely think that it is not the shadow of what came to be. It is not bad, but none of the other world, as a positive point good prices.

Luxury eaten in the restaurant.

Exceptionally good and varied menu. Not cheap but very good quality Catalán dishes. Nice sophisticated old world atmosphere.

In this restaurant we have always held all our family parties. The food is very good. The waiters and the rest of the staff is very friendly.

It's a restaurant, I wemt there for a family dinner.

Four years ago I stay at, a wonder, go back to the past, the restaurant, the best manina, excellent service. Great history of the building.

Good food and familiar place. Not a luxury place or particularly elegant, but well run and good value overall. Good location too in the city pedestrian center.

I went to the wedding of a colleague, the place espectaculat. The food and the staff of the excellent Trattoria.

To say the catering… Mythical place in granollers, where this is. But if that is true than the last time I went, I was not so happy as other times. Speaking of food, because the perfect service. Despite this, recommended, beautiful place and exquisite service.

That great lunches I've pasted here. Several years working in the area, it was common to go out with clients for lunch and talk about how we will evolve their business in the year. Gorgeous card, wonderful atmosphere, and tranquility and discretion in their tables inside.

This is such an amazing and cozy hotel! We are currently staying here and Im very pleased with the service… And of course… this is the best food you can have in Granollers! … Este hotel es maravilloso, muy agradable y acogedor… Nos estamos quedando aqui por unos dias y estoy muy satisfecha con el servicio… Tienen la mejor comida en todo Granollers! I have gone several times with the family or with friends, and we love it. It is well worth taking a pleasure from time to time in this restaurant to taste their rice dishes, tapas, entrees and dishes made with typical products of the region!

Beautiful modernist building, an icon in Granollers. Wonderful place to eat and stay. Highly recommended: "esmorzars of forquilla" (breakfast grill), a tradition that began pageses of the area, when they moved to Granollers early in the morning to sell in the market and, previously, had breakfast at la fonda.

Cozy, popular, good service, excellent food, and fair price.
