Spacious and comfortable room with all the amenities of a fine hotel including free breakfast. The hotel is next door to the monastery and also very close to the shops and start of all the hiking trails.

Convenience is the only reason to book this hotel. Drab room, uncomfortable bed, but clean. Dinner in what looked to be in a nice upscale stone room was not inspiring. Mediocre at best. We made reservations well ahead of time so we could get a nice table. We were seated next to the waiter station and was bumped into half the evening. Service was also mediocre. Think Denny's. The monastery, grounds, choir, mass, and Madonna were the highlights. If you can stay and eat somewhere else do it.

Hostel located in the sanctuary of Montserrat, which uses the cells of recollection to offer you a quiet stay and free of night noises. Good restaurant, with quality seasonal dishes and activities such as visualizing the formation of stars, with an astronomer. With the room is included the parking and you can take advantage of the stay to visit the sanctuary or perform high-altitude trekking.

The reception staff, speaks Castilian as a Dutch, speaks half Castilian half Catalan, intermingling. You have to evolve and be more prepared, but nothing negative. It has struck Me that there is a Bible on the table at night, but not because it finds a Bible, if not because the Bible is only in Catalan.
These Benedictine priests who say that we are all brothers, children of God and that we love the neighbor, could be more good and less independence, and put Bliblias in Castilian, why our language unites and is well known in the world by the amount of millions of Spanish speakers.
So, Mr. Director, be more open to society and less fascineroso, put a bliblia in Castilian that people can read and understand and not this piece of paper that for what I serve, I'm going to book.

Located in an exceptional location, it offers comfortable rooms and an excellent and very complete breakfast.

I had been to other times, but this time it was horrible. The toilet in the room had to be closed because it was a horrible smell of sewer. They are under construction but a room cannot be in use under those conditions. At the time of the Desayumo you have to queue, as you empty you are letting enter, all this have another dining room completely empty. The service at the bar is another disaster, for two lattes that were in front of me I had to wait more than half an hour. To all this the answers of the service are of the type: "Nobody has told us anything". "Well the works are for that and for other things. " I mean, they do. They take advantage of not having competition. A shame.

Cosy in a privileged position and an attentive and kind. High quality cuisine with suitable prices.

Good restaurant without more, and the condition of the rooms is OK without any more. I am made in a professional setting so no time to visit the abbey but the setting remains very friendly.

A bit dated the décor of the rooms, but they have something in their favor excellent views from the rooms, it has been an unforgettable experience in in Montserrat.

Great buffet lunch! If ur non vegetarian then you can feast. Super location with breath taking views. (Outside the restaurant from the bridge)

A very quiet place a breathtaking views the breakfast buffet very rich all the only the beds a little small the food of the restaurant quality priced expensive. For everything else is very good to go hiking ideal.

Good service, very friendly and nice. Spacious rooms, but antique furniture… And despite being in tune with the environment and taking into account that this is an old monastery, I think it is better this topic. Especially if you consider the price you pay per night at the hotel.

Amazing place to stay! If you're visiting Barcelona do make sure to try and take the trains to spend at least one night here. We went in February and the tranquility and peace we found here was amazing. There are only a few people out at night and the rooms are an excellent value.

One of the best nights in barcelona! I had a room which overlooks the square the mountains behind. The night is very quiet so you are able to rest well. In the morning, wake up with the sunshine, listen to the birds and watch the mist on mountains. It felt like dream.

It is well located, if you want to visit Montserrat. The service staff, in my experience, efficiently serving its purpose. The facilities… A real disaster. The rating is indicative of their stars, just the price. You have to look real hard to find, behind a piece of furniture, the only plug existing to be able to charge the mobile. In the bathroom, if you're not an acrobat, it is difficult to be able to give you a shower, you need more than two hands, because you have to hold with a shower if you want that the water is directed towards your body serrano if you do not do so, the contraption, bends his head and sends the water directly to the wall. The sink faucet, provides you with water, but you have to have patience to be able to fill your hands, if you want to wash that face, that nature and genetics, you have been awarded. Expensive restaurant and mediocre.

Look elsewhere is you are looking for a holiday hotel experience. Simple, clean rooms. Great views from rooms facing the monastery square. The food and service at the restaurant at Abat is passable. Parking is a pain. The greatest thing about staying overnight at Abat Cisneros is that you get to enjoy the monastery when the crowds have gone for the night or when you get up early in the morning. Truly peaceful and serene (unless church bells bother you).

I ordered a medium steak and it was RAW.
