Hotel Fonda Neus Hotel

Traditional Catalan cuisine. Very well care, but a little expensive.

We came to town to enjoy some cava tasting and saw reviews if some top restaurants and beautiful scenery. The front door to the hotel is not accessable, but we were able to go through the restaurant and ask for available room. The owner met us and showed us through the building, and he and his wife were very friendly lol, the room was €89 plus additional €12 breakfast for two. Unfortunately the restaurant at the hotel and ALL the restaurants in town close at 430pm and only food/dinner option we could find was a small bar a few blocks away. The room and bathroom are good size with working air conditioning. Paper towels and dispensed toilet paper was a bit strange in the bathroom, but worked fine. Bed was somewhat uncomfortable very firm and could feel the coils. Very dissatisfied in breakfast. The previous day when the owner asked what time we would like to do breakfast I asked for between 8-9 and he replied around 930 would be good. We arrived around 845 hoping to get a quick bite and head out to catch our train. We saw a small self serve area with water, juice, mini croissants, and BA few meats and 3 slices of cheese with no other customers or staff. We waited hoping to receive an actual cooked breakfast with coffee and finally saw someone at about 930 and received coffee at 945.

Family treatment and market cuisine, with no surprises. For the daily menu, two meeting rooms, one with a tablecloth, paper and textile… price Difference of 1€. Same dishes, that price and quality are very correct.

Restaurant daily menu of good relationship quality price (2016: 10€ 50 with water). Family. Have also a dining room more great for groups or events. As Fonda which is has the option of sleeping, but I can not assess.
