I am here with my husband and 2 teenage boys on our honeymoon. They have loads of stuff for the boys which is great. The restaurant is very stylish and the food is fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful. We have already talked about coming back to Augustus next year.

I am staying here with my family celebrating my honeymoon and I can't fault this hotel. Food has been great, the staff are pleasant and helpful. I will be coming back here next year.

Great hotel great location great food.

As for me, it is the best hotel of this coast in the middle price category. There are small drawbacks small rooms, sand on the shelves after cleaning, (although, in general to the quality of cleaning at all no complaints), well, etc. Little things.

Were in the hotel 2 weeks in July. We lived in three rooms. The hotel's set of services, cleanliness, food and service corresponds to the maximum three stars. They're cleaning badly. The restaurant prepares tasteless dishes from excellent, expensive products. Something oversalted, then the meat dried. There are almost no fresh vegetables. At breakfast of vegetables only tomatoes, at dinner add cucumbers, boiled carrots and beets, lettuce. Sometimes there were toasted courgettes and cauliflower. But it's not every day. But there was July, when such a variety of everything! All the pastries are tasteless and as if from a nearby supermarket. And of course the most unpleasant — extremely unfriendly attitude of the staff in the restaurant. It seems that people who have paid a lot of money should serve the waiters, not the other way around. The only advantage of the hotel is that it is on the first line and up to the amazing sandy beach and clear sea a couple of steps. Apparently for this hotel and sets prices. Never go back to this hotel. Total mismatch between the price and level of services provided.

A nice family hotel. The staff are friendly. Don't protest against going to the beach through the fire exit (screw ladder outside the building) which I love! They clean regularly. That's just Wi-Fi doesn't work well. Free at all almost does not work, and "Premium" more or less only incoming traffic. Outgoing traffic in general — sadness. All the problems with Wi-Fi probably due to the large number of holidaymakers. Mobile 4G works faster.

Hotel was very noisy. Nice breakfast. Rooms are a bit small but very clean. "security" staff member at the pool was very rude and didn't speak english. Reason for us to leave early.

There are no special claims to the hotel for this price. Of course, cleaning in haste — it's not. The breakfast food is monotonous. It's on the third day. Lunch, dinner — it's much better. Choose more, repeat dishes on 3-4 days. Otherwise, everything is on top — organization, accommodation, sea. Even Africans behind the fence complement the color and bring variety to the rest. That was great. The panoramic room is absolutely awesome, room 416 is the best choice (highest floor, the section is closer to the beach and you have Salou view from the balcony instead of pool\Cambrils view from the opposite side). The room isn't spacious, but huge balcony compensates lack of space. Food in the restaurant is various and tasty, fish and seafood were served on a daily basis. There were queues sometimes, but we never waited for more than 5 mins. Their wine list is about 20 positions from 8 to 15 EUR. Full board here is a great value for money. You'll have Bus Plana stop and office within 10 meters from the hotel and several cafes and supermarkets within two blocks. Two pools weren't overcrowded, there are lots of sunbeds and deckchairs, but most of them are in the shade. The beach is wide enough and clear, sometimes it's better to walk aside for a 100 meters from the hotel to find less crowded place. Stuff sellers on the sidewalk aren't disturbing or annoying. There's also a great great bike path by the seaside from Salou to Cambrils worth noticing and you can easily rent a bike (with baby carriage or seat as well).

I will not write about the pros, it has arranged absolutely everything.
Of the downsides, it's poor room soundproofing. As the hotel is crammed into a family vacation, every evening is a program that ends closer to midnight. And when people with children start to disperse, it seems that the door to the room is open. I went in June 2018 with my wife and 2 kids and understood where I was going. If you like a quiet and relaxing stay then this hotel is not for you.

4-Star Price, quality of three or less. Two elevators for the whole hotel, food quality just, small pool for so many people, excessive noise. Just worth it for the location. The staff, in our case, very friendly. Clean facilities, although the floor of the bathrooms is of a pottery that seems to be dirty (bad choice). We will not return for that price.

Very nice stay in the hotel. Our two little girls (age 3 and 6) loved it. Food was fantastic and with huge variety. Pool lovely and clean and next to the beach. It is also close to PortAventura as you can use bus number 2 and it takes 20min. The entertainment was amazing, zumba and games for kids and adults and the mini disco and shows after dinner, Thanks to lovely Sonia for the most happy friendly attitude for Zumba and kids disco, Carolina and angel for entertaining the kids as well as Lousia in reception team. We will visit this place again for sure.

Clean, well appointed rooms, decent selection and quality of food and a nice pool. Varying levels of friendliness regarding staff… some excellent, some quite non-plussed. Can literally step onto the beach.

Dirty. Although 4 stars and set, but does not hold the hotel to 4 stars. The room is dirty. It was a few times. Perhaps it is the only significant minus. The rest is at the height. Great place to book a holiday! Right beside the beach and lots of shops. Hotel is spotless and staff are very welcoming! Would recommand this to anybody especially for the price they offer how wouldnt want it.

Hotel lacking privacy during our stay, indeed in front of our hotel a whole hotel filled with young delirium. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food was excellent and the breakfast Not to stay during school holidays.

Very nice hotel. Clean, with a nice view of the pool and behind the sea. Very good to go with family (two large beds in the same room). The meals are varied and hearty (buffet at will), drinks this pay apartment, but they are not expensive!. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and kind. We will gladly return.

If you want a family hotel with an excellent location facing the sea in a very quiet area and with an entertainment team for the summer of the best I've seen, this is your place.

Very good hotel well placed, 5 minutes from Salou and a few meters from the beach.
Not very expensive in full family board, the meals are varied and especially at will.

We are not fussy but in the restaurant and partly also in the bar our visit was very noisy. The balcony door also has a lot of sound from the main street in front of the hotel, which in addition to the extremely bright hearing room at the beginning and the last night of the holiday disturbed the sleep, which we also owe to the room neighbors. Unfortunately, every door and every conversation in the hallway and in the next room is unintentionally heard. The bright hörigste room ever!
The pool is quite small but adequate. The drinks at the bar are good. The prices for it in the frame.
We wanted a simple, cheap hotel for a week short break and for that the Augustus is recommended nonetheless. We were fed up both at breakfast and at the changing dinner, even if you could not enjoy such a lot. Mediocre.
All in all, of course, you notice that here and there savings are saved here because of the favorable price. The modern design of the entire house, including the rooms, was very positive. Craftsmen, of course, should not look closely.
We will still spend the next time in Cambrils (this was our third holiday here) some more money for a hotel which is a little closer to the port of Cambrils and is quieter.

Very large Hotel located just a step away from the sea. Ideal to come with children. Spacious rooms, large bathroom, spacious terraces and some with direct access to the solarium, it is worth highlighting the beautiful views from the room. Very friendly staff. Large swimming pools, one for adults and one for children. Very good breakfast, and the evening buffet with a lot of variety of dishes and all very good. The only downside to the noise that you hear from the room, there should be more silence in the hallway at night. Otherwise, hotel of 10, I'm sure we'll be back.

The hotel is located directly on the beach, by the sea. Shopping facilities are about 150-200m away. The food is served in buffet style and has a good quality. The paella is a dream and there is always fresh fruit of the season. Evening changing program like music or a magic show. My favourite hotel for 12 years.

Huge hotel quite arranged. It is appreciated that there are family rooms with two double beds. The good food, with fish, meat that you do at the moment on the plate, pizzas also made at the moment and… in front of the sea! The only one but: a little overcrowded.

Spent two weeks in the autumn. Food and room good, right on the beach. Has its own guarded car park behind the house. In case of prepayment of the parking place you can always be driven in and out at this time. Parking is quite expensive. Everything else is good.

Strange, where is the high rating of this lodging house? The only plus is the location. On the shores of the beautiful and wonderful sea in a charming country. The hotel is small, crowded (were in September). The hall resembles the Kazan railway station. The pool and the beach at the hotel are miserable, sunbeds wasted the hot. The hotel is very good. A sad canteen is a song, only a memorial. What is the average between factory and Macdonolom. Every day fast food. For 2.5 weeks only once shrimp and paella. So spread instantly (who first got that and shrimp). Half of the dishes were later seen in the form of semi-finished products in Leeds near by discounts. The best hotel I've ever been to, super good treatment, both to the kids and to the adults, lots of activities for the kids and a great animation, the food of the buffet, especially the seafood dinner on Fridays.

Delighted with my stay, perfect location, beach, Park Port Aventura at 5 min, room clean and very nice, just missing a welcome tray. The cleanliness of the bathroom is to be improved, limestone, hair, aging towels. The breakfast buffet has a very good value for money.

A decent three Star hotel but with some small improvements it could go beyond decent. If you want a quiet adults only holiday then this place isn't for you but if you want a holiday on a beach, it's great. The all you can eat buffet has something for everyone, except those who complain about everything! Again, of you are looking for quiet, fine dining this isn't the place for you. The negative reviews that I've read seem to be from people with high expectations rather than expectations of a three Star hotel.

My Husband and I stayed within the Hotel Augustus complex, we wanted to have the ability to cater for ourselves, and were told by the hotel that we would have to have one of their apartments for that, which we readily agreed too, in the hope we could make toast, a cup of tea or coffee, and have a fridge etc, we did book half board so also had the ability to have some meals in the hotel restaurant. When we arrived at the reception desk of Hotel Augustus, it was impressive, modern, bright, clean, stunning actually. Bars, Pool, reception, restaurants all looked fabulous. As we booked ourselves in we were told we had an apartment and it is next door a short walk away. So feeling a little disappointed at that, we picked up our luggage and took ourselves to the apartment block. We arrived to them, seeing a dismal unimpressive building, and took the elvator to our floor, as we entered the apartment, it was a shock, a shock that made me cry, I paid 2500 UK Pounds for this holiday for two apartments, one for my husband and I and one for my daughter and her partner. The rooms were dark, outdated, dismal, antiquated, and not entirely clean, nothing matched or flowed with a bright and modern theme, To give you a clue (and this is not personal, just trying to paint a picture) it resembled a financially strapped, single elderly persons, council flat.

We were in August 1 week because it is really very nice there! Hotel with fully and partially refurbished rooms. Location a few meters from the beach. It has swimming pool in the hotel. Rather poor room service. With few first hot, few seconds and desserts that are repeated daily. Iron in breakfast and dinner service, they do not allow the charge on the account of the room unless you make a background in reception or des high your credit card previously. We went to a single weekend, but really the impression has been very good, to be a three star is fine, we were lucky that gave us a reformed, and room overlooking the pool and beach. Staff very friendly and the food from the buffet (though not very extensive) was good and well cooked.
It must be borne in mind that although you belong to Cambrils geographically is closer in Salou.
To put any glue the difficulty of free parking in the area (the hotel has outdoor parking €11 day, if not blue zone), queues at times points to enter the dining room and that this is very loud, tables are enough together and we agree with several large groups that armed enough noise.

I've been on 2 occasions — in the summer — hosted in this hotel. I like the site, the climate, the beach, the entertainment, the food. (maybe this combination is the most difficult to achieve). But the most easy and to that I give a lot of importance as it is the friendliness of the staff, are conspicuous by their absence. Except for some isolated case, the personal is dry and cold and we work with people we hacerhincapié in this aspect.

A 3 star hotel, the furnishings in the rooms is old and comfortable, the whole hotel is very nice. Eat only middle class.
