We spent there 3 nights, one family. Rooms are nice, but old and "used". Especially bathroom. Terrace is nice. Neighbours are noisy, in upper level they made noise all night. Dining — tastes, choice is moderate, nothing to surprise. For Wi-Fi connection you get only two access codes per room. So if you have computer and two mobiles. Sorry, one of them will be offline. You have to pay extra fee 18€/day for parking. You have to pay extra fee for indoor pool and wellness. As it is 5-stars hotel, we all expected further more!

Clean hotel. Good food. Relaxing music. Beautiful view of the garden. Big room. Nice pool area. Helpful & friendly staff. We received welcome drinks at our arrival. Overall Nice and relaxing. :)

Very pleasant stay a large hotel with a park and a super pool area. The food is very good and the breakfast is delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. And in addition it has a spa with very good services. We will return.

We were here 14 days, with HP. The breakfast — and evening buffet was great every day! The service team is very nice. The room, or the whole hotel, is clean and tidy. Great big plant with lots of greenery. In the sauna we were not that is something expensive. We would book the hotel again!

Staff on reception was quite nice and friendly. Room itself wasn’t bad except for dirt behind door like somebody vomit on it. Food also want bad but one day there was a slice of bread with blue dots on it. And worst was somebodies old underwear left by cleaning ladies and the fact they stole 50 euros from our valet.

Hotel that has beautiful rest of a past splendor. Cleanliness of an accrable level. A noisy atmosphere by an occupation of youth gangs. Use of earplugs recommended. A breakfast buffet. A value for money, challenging all competition. I do not regret to have experienced this atmosphere hostel Spanish.

The staff are very nice and friendly and the only nice place in the hotel are the reception and restaurant. Once you get in the lifts it goes downhill. There is no indoor pool attached the hotel as advertised. The rooms are dated. I will not class this hotel as a 5star because of this. There is a spa which is run by a third party with a small pool where you have to book and pay an exorbitant amount for 1hour swim. Apart from that there is nothing much.

The first visit to Spain was marred by the impression of this so-called 5 star hotel.
A lot of minuses: 1. Often smelled bad sewer 2. From the refrigerator smelled no better, did not want to once again open.
3. Any drink at supper-paid, even water.
4. Animations Zero.
5. The SPA employee reluctantly agreed to speak English (plus two: good, healthy, varied food for every taste and mini toothpaste (probably instead of conditioner for hair, which was not) )

This is a large, clean, stylish and modern hotel, but is lacking in the personal touches customers would expect, with this star rating. The weather the second week in May was unseasonably cool, and the hotel was cold. It was often difficult to find staff for service in the bars, especially around the pool areas. It lacks atmosphere and friendliness.

Yes I come regularly because it is a very quiet and the staff very welcoming to our listening.

Enter the room and see cockroaches, it is very good to be a 5 stars hotel, reception is quite slow, there is to queue for breakfast, and€ 18 for the car park! A weekend of luxury! We will not return never more.

Very comfortable and luxury content. Very good facility. Although it is not the Monday of tin its location is very good away from the bustle of the centre of Lloret.

The hotel at first sight looks very good, although the parking fee, 18€. The reception is quite slow, it is something to improve, in addition we ask for double bed and they put us in a room with two beds together. We caught mediate pension, and even well into the dinner we took the water. In general, service very poor, certainly does not deserve the 5 stars.

Exceptional in Lloret de Mar beautiful staff with small care, upgrade possibilities without asking.

Nice breakfast, good views from balcony and very nice rooms. Just didn't like that I had to wait extra hour to get my room even though they said to come at 3pm.

The staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean and luxorious. Good quality and varied food.

The only five stars are those of the façade being very generous four. The buffet lousy four days with the same first and desserts no variety the seconds only change the way to cook the chicken and veal. Friendly service.

Invited by the CJD to animate the training for business executives I discovered the different parts of the hotel. Beautiful services but as too often in Spanish establishments this lack of soundproofing… especially in the reception rooms.

I don't think it's a five star hotel. There are no services. Very good food, that's true.

We liked it very much, especially the menu, the quality food, the comfortable room, the only downside is that it is removed from the urban core. We went in November and had hardly any animation.

Room with 2 single beds arriving while we ask for double bed while we were in the room the front desk assigned our room to another couple what a surprise! When it is retracted the door does not lock key.

All very nice and the service excellent. We got a welcome glass of cava. The only drawbacks for me is that the restaurant lacks more variety of elaborate food and a tad cold some dish but everything is good.
The spa is worth 12 and something 1 hour, it's something small but cozy and you relax. I have also enjoyed:)

I have been to this winter hotel x work. Comfortable rooms on the 7th floor beautiful sea view, good buffet breakfast. The 5 stars is mainly due to the presence of outdoor swimming pool and SPA.

The hotel is located in a great area where there are places to eat and take a walk on the beach. Located near the beach about 10 min. 3l Hotel Service This perfect people ati3nde you great. The food was very nice and the room was clean.

Stayed here for a business meeting in January — great place and meeting rooms. Friendly staff and very nice fiod. Rooms were in fine shape and comfortable with W-Lan working good.

A very nice and luxurious hotel with lovely staff and all the comforts given and for having. Quiet place with beautiful views; And the breakfast buffet is very well stocked. It is one of the few hotels in which I have been in which you do not need to take home dryer to straighten your mane (the hairdryer is comparable to a good hair dryer). As the only point to improve, it is difficult to locate the entrance to the hotel, it is right after casino and it is hard to see signage from the road.

Nice polite staff and hotel is nice. Only thing is only BBC news in English available on the TV.

Does not live up the the standard they claim. It is an old building with old interior, especially the bathrooms (superior room). Breakfast was decent with quite a broad selection, but dinner was not great and generally overcooked. We also asked for a room with double bed, which couldnt be arranged, given the hotel was full. Since it was very busy, we also needed to wait for about 45 minutes to check-in on a Saturday afternoon — some guests were offered Cava, some were not. Spa was nothing special, with the steam room broken. However, the staff was very polite and tried to help, but overall not enough to reach even 4 stars.

Great hotel, beautiful facilities and great service. The spacious rooms, the bar a beautiful place with a very cool terrace and the very varied and all kinds of drinks at a reasonable price to be a 5 star hotel. To repeat without a doubt.

Good choice if you want good hotel and next to the casino. It is far from the beach and something close to the city trade. Good bet if you want to get away from the bustle of Lloret especially in high season. Very good suite prices if you book in advance. They usually have weddings and especially foreigners. You always have the pool, very good, and your lounge chairs to be relaxed but not beach.

We had a beautiful stay here. The hotel offers a lot of luxury and an incredible view. The food is excellent. The bathroom of our room was super, with separate shower, bathtub, 2 sinks and bidet. The staff is very polite and courteous, we were given a free upgrade to our room upon arrival. Of course you can always find little things to fault around if you are looking for it, but we did not do that and enjoyed our holiday. The Monterrey is one of the best hotels in Lloret. By the way, there is also a cute hotel cat. I can only recommend the Monterrey.

We stayed in this hotel 3 nights, beautiful hotel and surroundings. Rooms were very clean and up to a high standard, staff were very friendly and helpful, spoke very good English as well. Hotel is up on the hill so it was a bit of an issue going there and back to town/beach but we got used to it, car would be a good option there. It was about 10 minute walk to the beach and promenade. The pool near the hotel was very clean and big enough. Excellent place to stay.

Good hotel, great territory. Beds, towels and breakfast are good. Service can be extremely slow. Swimming pool is ok. S bit of walking to the sea if you are there for holiday.

The worst 5 stars hotel I´ve ever being in my entire life! They would charge you 10 euros for the room service (aka briging you an ice cube) without even advising. On the web was mentioned that there are no children below 14 year old oh such a lie! The breakfast was okay. Like any 4 star hotels would have. Horrible experience with the room service though. The most expensive ice EVER. This isn´t a 5 star hotel service.

Good hotel to stay at for Lloret de Mar standards. Five star but not quite per my standards. Would give out 4 stars max. Breakfast was primarily cold dishes like bread, cheeses and sweets. You do have the option of ordering various forms of egg (hard boiled, scrambled, etc). Parking is an additional 18 euros per day. For the price per night this should be included. Great pool area and above par food at the restaurant. Service was decent depending on person but a five star service shoyld be beyond par with everyone. Rooms a bit dated. Easy to reach town.

A great weekend! They were super attentive, helpful and friendly staff of the hotel, all! reception, waiters, cleaning, lifeguard… suits Pilarín, wonderful my princesses have enjoyed!
The only thing that the menu is very repetitive, consider that had more variety of food would be nice.
Without a doubt we will repeat!

A good hotel, in the centre of lloret del mar, the buffet is a little bit repeated, I have eaten a paella and last with damage to stomach for several days, bring pasta to the damage of the stomach in case something goes wrong apart from that the staff is very friendly.

Really bad experience. First problem was the safe. Apparently we had to pay for the safe separately. They didn't tell us about that when we got the keys. Result: we struggled for half an hour trying to open it. The room's AC wasn't able to cool off the air fast enough. When the AC was turned on, it would blow some smelly air certain hours of the day, specially late in the afternoon. What is the point of an AC if it can't make your experience better? Food was good, nothing really special though. Service was good, although not excellent. In short, I'm not staying in this hotel again in the near future.

The breakfast we cost €16 per person not worth the lunch at the hotel cafe con leche this malissimo pastries I rather leave that perfect room I wish a worthwhile treatment also.

We were lodged last week and the truth is that it is a hotel that was not anymore. THE car park, 18 eurytus per day. You know that it is impossible to park in the street. The reception service, the truth is that very well. Dwarf room (165 euros per night), the matrimonial bed not is if it was single or double. Shower basin was broken. And at 9 in the morning they were already itching of the cleaning to make room. Twice they sting at the door. If you go to drink at night, you have to make a short walk by the dark carrertera that connects the hotel with the street. I have very clear than ever but I stayed in that hotel.

Rating the staff from the buttons to the last waiter. The first day went and we were already received was very good, the first day went down in the stroller at the hotel (called "Carrilet"), leaves you on a beach, beautiful and practically Virgin. The casino and Conference Hall will open this month as I commented at the reception. They have a spectacular and beautiful work to suit the hotel has these so luxurious conditions. SPA is a small oasis of tranquility, where you forget about everything and there variety of massages and beauty treatments and relaxation. I'll be back.
