Amazing chef! Really ingenious, creative and intensive dishes. In that regard this place is top notch. The setting is picturesque! Beautiful with spectacular views. It’s a Relais & Chateaux property, with two Michelin Stars! They have 5 hotel rooms that I fully plan on staying at one day. The food itself is very modern. Clearly influenced by the molecular gastronomy trend of the early 2000’s that Spain is still stuck in. Personally I prefer the current farm to table, locavore, eat local, simple is better trend currently sweeping the rest of the world but that’s not to say that this restaurant doesn’t deserve its accolades because it absolutely does. Paco Pérez has helped but Llançà on the map and continues to do so. His restaurants in Barcelona are also worth a stop. His burger game is on pointe at Royale! Can’t say enough!
