What a great place.
I booked it for 6 nights online from Australia, only going by photos and reviews and we were definitely NOT disappointed.
Rooms are clean, have plenty of cupboard and underbed storage and mattresses were very good and the staff was amazing. Always greeting us with a smile and more than willing to explain and help us when we needed some information.
I can only remember some names — Vicky and Vincenzo, but every single person who works at TWENTYTÙ is wonderful and friendly.
Thank you for making our stay in Barcelona so easy and comfortable.
I'll recommend TWENTYTÙ hostel to everyone who is thinking about going to Barcelona.

I had a great time there! Nice Staff, clean rooms, wonderful roof and close to the Metro, Beach and Tram.
There is only one thing: Please change the horrible Coffemaschine (the coffe at breakfast is ok! )

Clean and comfortable. Staff speaks English and are available 24/7. Decent prices and fairly central location. Great common room with TV, pool table, computers and fridges.

They made us pay 50 euros more, in part of the 30 of the reservation, which on the web did not come out absolutely nothing. The best thing is that kindly told me the guy who could return the money, as if I had many more ways and I knew a lot BCN… a scam.!

Clean hostel with private bathroom in 4-bed rooms, two steps from the metro and two stops from the centre.

Cheap and Nice. Clean and well appointed rooms. The shower room is sufficient.
Bedroom of 4 with bunk beds.
A relaxation room downstairs with tables, computer, sofas.
On the other hand the lunch is really not good and the pastries are extra.

Very cozy, clean and conditioned. It is in a quiet area and very close to the center.
Maybe the rooms are somewhat small but very prepared.
Recommended.

Breakfast for 5 euros is only coffee with toast bread. So not recommended.

Great hotel ideally located in the heart of Poblenou, at 1/4 hours from downtown.

The terrace is nice and has amazing views of the city but when it runs the air is very cold. Otherwise everything OK.

The room is very small They look like cells. Staying in five in eight square meters is not the top.

Clean and neat place. Friendly staff. Clean beds and linen and good washroom and toilet.

Very clean, modern, and well maintained. Especially the roof terrace is an absolute highlight. Also good wireless coverage throughout the building.
Negative to rate is definitely the breakfast. The choice is very low and everything tastes very much like chemistry.
Moreover, the beds are not really comfortable.

Been there for a couple days on a trip. Rooms are small but in line with hostels standards. Nice receptionists. The only downside to me was the breakfast that I dont advise you to get.

Best hostel I have been, very clean, staff very friendly, clse to the seaside, well communicated with metro, tram and buses I will be back.

Great location, halfway between the city centre and the Sagrada Familia. Pecca of the rooms is the TOILET too small. Great common areas and helpful staff.

Perfect service. Small rooms but but enough. Very clean and modern hotel. Cheap price. Breakfast is simple (milk, coffee, cereals, juices…) But if you take a double room they give you a croissant.
Negative Note: Do not make the beds well, at Checkout you have to personally lower the sheets, the windows can not open, the shower splashes a lot.

-ideal location to enjoy Barcelona, metro accessible, beach 15/20 minutes walk. — personal, smiling and available
-common areas very pleasant with a superb terrace and the kitchen. Negative Points: — the district (which leaves something to be desired all the same)
— the quality of the breakfast (especially the juice of orange)
— the rooms (very small)
But given the attractive price we can't ask for more. Very good report quality / price!

The rooms is the normal size for hostels. The breakfast was alright. What annoyed me was that the shower and sink was placed in a room and the toilet in another, so if someone was showering and you went to the toilet you couldn't wash your hands, that's just bad layout. But the rooftop had a really nice view.

Clean and good value for money. The hostel is a little further from the main attractions however close to some good bars and clubs. The aircon in the room was a little too hot and you couldn't control it. All of the staff were really helpful and friendly couldn't fault them at all.

Hostile staff and clean. Perfect location and great terrace.

Mass handling under the name "Hightech Hostel". The rooms we had for 4 people are smaller than a prison cell. Maybe 15 sqm to 4 people, of which 7 sqm are free area? The toilet is tiny, 2 sqm? Nothing for people with a fear of space. Never seen anything like it before!
Breakfast is very very small but adequate. The only nice thing about the whole hostel is the terrace.
The Windows may go up 5 cm, because they are secured and the air conditioning, which you cannot regulate yourself, has taken care of all the colds. Far too strong and directly directed to the beds.
In addition, the hostel not only saves space but also electricity and water, where it is only available. At midnight the Lights go out (up to the bathroom and tiny little floor lights (which do not bring anything) ), after toilet flushing, you have to wait 5 minutes until you can rinse again, the light on the toilet does not go away after 5 minutes, the shower and the faucet are also never longer a ls 20 sec open.
The location is very ugly. Every 5 minutes you hear sirens, the streets are filthy and we have been robbed several times. On the other hand, it looks very different in 10 minutes.
All in one I am and everyone who was there was very dissatisfied with the hostel. You just don't want to stop there.

Stayed here for one night. Only spent maybe 1 waking hour in the hostel. I was a little nervous about going and staying at hostel, I had never stayed at one before. But after staying here, it was a good experience. The staff was friendly, it was quite, clean, good Wi-Fi, AC, they have a really pretty deck, it was a walk away from Razzmatazz club, metro was right by, they offer breakfast, offer all day activities, and it was just a 15/20 minute walk away to one of the most famous buildings in Barcelona. I do think their target demographic is for adults probably 20-30. However, I did see a family with a child staying there. Also, nobody else was in the room that I stayed in with my friend, so I got a goods nights rest! I'd like to think that this is more of a high end hostel? I'd recommend staying.

Amazing hostel with great facilities for everybody. There is a rooftop bar with great views of the city. The rooms are very nice with air conditioning and lockers. The whole building is eco friendly. The location is really good and the staff is very helpful. Just a few blocks away from major metro stations, or you can even just walk to La Rambla and Barrio Gótico.

Very clean and great location, short walk to the trains and near some good restaurants and bars. Fast Internet. Good for families or those needing a quiet night. Breakfast had great variety including coffee and barista machine, cereals, bread, milk and fruits. Rooms are too small to deal with luggage (you either need to be with friends who don't mind sharing their bed for you to sort your bags for a bit or take your luggage in the hallway) but that's my only complaint. The staff are friendly and will adjust the temp in your room if you ask.

The hostel is a pretty good example of modern-day socialism, while the teachers have a ton of perks and stuff, as students you're four people in a room with about 20ft², the AC doesn't work properly and they don't clean the rooms AT ALL. It's supposed to be the most energy-efficent hostel in Spain or Europe or something, which means: lights don't work at night (kind of an oxymoron) ; the lights in the toilet shut of every minute, the one in shower doesn't though; the AC only works when the windows are closed; the shower turns off every 17 seconds, and the house rules are incomplete because there's extra stuff in the rooms and if you ask the people that work there. Also you can't have food or drinks in the rooms or they're allowed to kick you out. Your shoes aren't allowed on the floor so you'll have to put those on a rack in the toilet. The bed lines you get are not properly washed, there's sand and even bugs on 'em, so you'll have to ask for nee ones. Also, if you want to go to the middle of Barcelona, you'll have to walk A LOT, but cabs are really cheap if you more then 3 people. That's all thanks for reading.

Ticks all the boxes in terms of what you'd want from a hostel. Has all the facilities you'd need. Clean. What was lacking was any kind of character. Somewhat sterile. The opposite of a backpackers hostel — mostly groups of teenagers on their first holiday or school groups. Staff were polite enough, but not exactly friendly or dynamic. Location was okay — 15/20-minute walk to the Sagrada Familia. There were very few bars or cafes nearby though.

Love this place. Stuff id kind, they will help you with all you need, price is good and rooms are very comfort. We loved view from the roof :) Also is good that you can watch a movie or play billiard.

Everything perfect… only thing is the A/C is not to my standard. A little too warm.

Overall atmosphere is lively and energetic, service staff pretty handsome and warm. Negative layer was a huge integrated open space, partly open restaurant, part of a self-service kitchen (a public fridge, microwave oven, Electric Kettle), part of the entertainment area is open (a flat-screen TV, six desktop computers), there is a room to a self-service laundry (two washers and two dryers). Top layer is a large rooftop panoramic views, relaxing and comfortable, there are many sofa Chair, cool in the summer, is a romantic place to make new friends. Has two disadvantages, leave a bit far from the nearest subway station, walk 10-15 minutes, with shared bathroom in the room and shared bathroom small and inadequate ventilation.

Great terrace with performances for customers and non-customers.

Positiv: Wlan, Eine gute Aussicht, 20min zum Strand Negativ: Klimaanlage geht nicht, Fenster lässt sich nicht öffnen, Wasser läuft immer nur kurz.

Good hostel for a short stay. It is located in a calm neighborhood. Still, it is close to the marina — — about 20 minutes walking slowly — — and to the Sagrada Familia — — also about 20 minutes. There is a tram station less than 5 minutes away in case you want to go everywhere else. The only caveat is that the rooms are really small.

The light goes off at midnight, there are no TVs in the room.

I took a disappointment very large… we were locked in the room without being able to open the windows… you can't smoke. You have to climb to the terrace upstairs for smoking, up here well, but at 12 of the night because you can go to the street if you want to smoke. You don't have the freedom to open and close the windows when you want to since you removed the brake levers so that if you light a cigarette, jump off the 3 detectors in the room. I asked specifically for the check in time the room was ready as I was travelling with my son of 3 years and for anything we have a room available… you have to do your bed and the next day down the things to the front desk. Breakfast a disaster, bols, dirty, orange juice looked like lemon because it was yellow throughout, powder milk instead of normal milk, the water worse than if it were from the tap etc… The truth that I don't think back and the people who were with me either. To say that we all couldn't be with the windows closed we were told that if we wanted that we were… this has been my experience.

The hostel has an unbeatable location with tram T4 service (much more efficient) in two steps. The public areas are excellent, while the rooms seem too basic, there isn't even a Chair to sit inside the room and bunk beds unfortunately are hard to reorder. Overall positive experience.

Ostello minimal, spazi ristretti nelle camere, ma perfetti per dormire qualche notte. Bella struttura, fantastica la terrazza con vista sulla città. Prezzo imbattibile.

Top hostel. Breakfast is go lean. Just why can't you open the hell is the window?! Air conditioning or not. If 4 people go in a row of showers tropical atmosphere :-D.

Spacious shared place, clean rooms. Bit of a distance (15-20min walk) from the city hub, but there's a metro station relatively closeby. Park de la Ciutadella nearby is really lovely.

The location is good, you can get to the center of the city in around 15 minutes. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hostel seems fancy and cool on the photographs, but the room wasn't actually very cosy and the floor definitely was not cleaned recently. Also, there is no sound isolation at all, so the outer noise (passing cars, shouting people) is very loud. Not to speak about the noice from the corridor. We were awaken several times from persons speaking there during the night and they were not even shouting. The breakfast consists of toasts, butter, jam and fruit. But there is a nice kitchen, where you can cook your breakfast yourself.
