Only one night spent in this family boarding room of 4 with a 10-month-old baby
Untenable heat not air conditioning a single fan that idles and therefore refreshed only if you stand 2 cm from it
Clean to review plumbing to redo cabinet whose doors are degoned tilebreaking on all sides window that does not close by now it's no worse otherwise we stifle a hellish noise coming from the street until very very late. Finally brief a hell
Even if the price is not high this pension would deserve a lot of work

If you want to save money, it is really a good place to stay. It is a low cost pension but it is very clean. They have changed our towels every day and the staff are very kind. It is located very central and you can reach almost every location by walking.

Locatipn and personell os good. Beds also was grate. But condition of property quite poor.

Expensive and it is not quality, there is much better next door and cheaper.

It's just the way they advertise it. Old building but very clean and quiet. Nice staff. We had family with two children, we have been very nice. No kitchen but give discount on rest. Italian, which has very good letter at very good price… Very well located in Ciutat Vella and two steps from the Gothic quarter.

During the week also nice and quiet and the price is unbeatable for single/double rooms. Bathroom for sharing.
It's all something in very clean but old.

Pension Francia its a cozy place to stay in Gothic if you vizit Barcelona for a couple of days. If you have expectations are for a hotel conditions, this is not for you. Here you will find the basic bed and a bathroom in a Barcelona classical old building. The staff is really friendly and they also offer a discount to two nice restaurants in the area.

Noisy. In the bathroom the water is running the hold night verry noisy in the toilet. Also you can hear all the other people taking showers.

Good location but too old not fit no housekeeping made toilet and common bath on the doorstep. But above all 6 floors is lifted.

Well located but stairs. Very basic to sleep only.

No lift I climbed 80 steps to my room as a 70 year old very exhausting rooms terribly in need of a makeover wardrobe falling apart location great staff pleasant but must spend money on the place shared bathroom was disgusting.

The room was clean and the breakfast was good.

A good situation is not everything. Really not recommended. EXTREM hellhoerig (very loud). Party people come and go at quarter-hour intervals and therefore "sleeping" is all but unpossible. Otherwise, the guesthouse can only be classified as a serious refurbishment case. Heating does not work in any of the rooms. The electricity is channelled through a makeshift cable over the stairwell into the floors. The sanitafacilities are so gambly that you prefer to refrain from showering. The hallway light must not be switched off on the floor. And since the tues don't sit properly in the tuer frame, it's not dark in the room. The rooms are very small and the bedding is spotty. If you want to explore the city rested, you should rather look for another low-budget accommodation. Was already oefters in Barcelona. And, at the same price situation, it had been much better met.

It's Ok for the price in this location if you don't care about the noise and the ugliness of the place you'll be fine. No elevator and rooms can be in 5th floor, no real windows, bathrooms and toilets in the corridor only… but location is great.

Great location and decent price. Very basic rooms and facilities. Needs a refurbishment in some places. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic.

The most horrible night of our life…!
No insulation in the rooms which are very small, no window, just a hole that leads to the hallway…
Noise, noise and more noise all night! With groups of people who still believe in broad daylight between 3: 00 and 7: 00 in the morning, no respect for others, we could hear them as if they were next to us. And of course no intervention of the staff…
Pay €60 / 2 people per night for this, a shame!
We couldn't wait to leave!

Good location at reasonable price. Connected okay and quite close to everything. The facilities are rather old but OK, the bed is a bit soft for my taste.

The room was an ass hole, the bed mattress is of a quality equal to that which are next to the rubbish bins, the tiny bathroom (let's call it pure toilet to make him a compliment) at night you can hear the next door neighbours who go out to pee and pull the flusher. In short, a great shit! Our cases have to take up two floors of svale as steep as those of the leaning tower of Pisa … I repeat sucks!

Generally, there is a huge distrust in the guests, e. G. Full payment at check-in, insisting to leave the key every time in the reception, a. O. Further, I had a very unfortunate incident with one (moroccan) receptionist, calling my female friend a prostitute and threatening to beat her with his shoe! Hope he is no longer working there.

Very good location, clean and quite comfortable. The room if she was very warm, and what I didn't like anything, was that the staff was smoking near the rooms (despite being a space without smoke, by law) and couldn't be almost breathe in those moments.

I stay at this hostal for years now. It clean, comfortable, and perfectly situated. (Only thing missing is an elevator. But it's good for your health. ).
