Review of Hostal Centric 2*

I do business travel about 1-2 times yearly, and in Barcelona I booked a single bedroom for six nights at the Hostal Centric. The Centric is located quite centrally in Barcelona, and is close to the (in) famous Rambla, Plaza Catalunya and the Museum of Art. Public transportation. The Centric is close to two metro stations, and also the AeroBus, which takes you to the airport in less than half an hour and low cost. Departures every 10 minutes. … Although being the smallest type of room offered by the Centric, the single bedroom had a comfortable double bed and was very nice and clean. It also had a small balcony overlooking the street. At two floors above ground level this gave a very nice overlook. The street was not a very busy street, so there was a minimum of noise. The Centric doesn’t offer meals or a minibar, but there are several small restaurants and bars very close by, where you can get nice but inexpensive meals and drinks. Also, there is a vending machine in the hotel lobby if you need a snack. The staff is very friendly, helpful and forthcoming, and is very good at speaking English. They can also assist you with the public transport system such as metro and bus. The hotel Wi-Fi was surprisingly reliable and fast, and is honestly the best hotel Wi-Fi I’ve experienced. Overall, my stay at the Centric was a great experience, and has my warmest recommendations. I will be sure to book my next stay in Barcelona at the Hostal Centric, and I think you should too.
