Amistat Beach Hostel Barcelona Hotel

The staff here has been phenomenal. I had some hiccups and they have saved me from further problems. The room is great, the atmosphere fun, and they have free tea! Can't wait to try their breakfast. The people here have been kind as well.

It's clean and in a good location close to the beach. Some of the staff are cool but others are very grumpy. No hostel vibe simce alcohol is not allowed anf no bar inside. So everybody is going somewhere else. We were in a group so that was no problem but travelling by yourself would be quite boring there.

Friendly staff, common areas equipped and well ventilated, dormitory of 8 quite small, hot water balloon that makes a lot of noise, it quickly gets very hot in the dormitory that is poorly ventilated! Safe place.

Very good,,, do not feel just ever… Always my good company on behalf of all the staff.

The people at the front desk give you all the instructions you need, the place is amazing, the atmosphere of the hostel very funny, there are video games… In short everything you need for a good step through Barcelona. I would recommend 100%

A secluded place of the center and very economic, near the Rambla de Poblenou, with restaurants pubs and a lot of life on weekends.

Amistat Beach Hostel is a fantastic hostel located in a quiet yet vibrant neighbourhood of Barcelona. The beach is about 7-8 mins walking from here. The hostel is beautiful. Enough bathroom & toilets, clean & spacious rooms, friendly staff & very good kitchen facility. You can also play PS4 & Nintendo Wii in their common area! Recommended for sure.

Not very clean. And they charge for evey little thing. They say that they have breakfast, but fail to say that its 3 euros. If it was a good breakfast, I would have paid, but it was a breakfast most offer for free. The location and staff are great, but I recommend spending a little more money to get an hostal the offers more amenities.

Super helpful staff made sure the checkin process was breezy. They informed about all the things in the hostel and helped with how to commute and what to see in the city. The place is really close to the Beach and other basic things. They have their own walking tour and party hop nights almost daily. They also have PS and Wii for people who love it. Their breakfast spread is quite lavish too.

I recommend 1000% nice welcome, clean and cozy place! It's secure and safe as a place even for a girl who travels alone!

Very friendly staff. It's a hostel, so don't expect too much from the rooms. Some rooms are very small, others have a bit more space to move around in. The location is pretty good, a 5 minutes walk from the subway and close to the beach as well. Also the prices are pretty cheap.

On top! Everything is really good! On the other hand you have to think about its parking long before!

Room too small, food horrible. As a German, you are used to other standards. But service, entertainment and location are top!

Easy place to reach, close of the beach! People are awesome, really nice and friendly. Really nice party at Opium with Alejandra from Mexico. She also recommended me some beautiful place to visit. I really enjoyed my stay!

So, The hotel itself is easy to find, has a nice energy in the beginning, you feel really welcome. Then come the problems. There are a lot of kids and teenagers screaming hysterically through the corridors at dawn. People completely without respect. So if you are lit bit older and trying to find interesting people to speak that will be kind of difficult. Other problem is, they could be more organized. They give me a room with the locker on the top. You have to be strong to take every time our baggage down and up, down and up. And trying do that without wake up others. Really impossible. Or, put a woman together with 7 men who haven’t respect whatsoever. For the experience I'm giving 1 star. For the people who working there I could give 5 stars. Alejandra for the Spanish lessons and the girl on the front desk that try every time make me feel comfortable.

Beautiful experience in Amistat beach hostel, the staff is superfriendly and really welcoming, especially Clara, Cassie and the nice spanish girl with purple hair, there many activities offered and the breakfast bouffet is delicious, totally recommended for people willing to meet many new friends from all around the world.

Absolutely brilliant place I stayed here for a week a few weeks ago and loved every minute of it! The hostel itself was great, particularly with the free events that they put on while I was there (beach games, spanish lessons, salsa lessons etc). I also went on the pub crawl a few times which was pretty good too! Perfect spot, right near the beach (about a 5 minute walk) and brilliant for if you're travelling alone with the people you're able to meet while there! Couldn't recommend the place enough.

The people are very friendly, young and with languages. Friendly and hospitable. Some food is free (cocinandotela your) like pasta and rice, jam, spices, oil… Everything clean, and bn located.

The hostel is perfect to go to the beach there are many activities organized by Alejandra that allow you to meet other travellers and have fun, very good housekeeping and very helpful staff!

Awesome hostel that's in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Fairly close to public transport and literally 5 to 10 minutes from the beach. May not be on the beach but the walk is nice. Good cafes, bars and restaurants in the area. Hostel is clean, comfortable and convenient. Friendly, helpful staff with a good vibe and atmosphere about the place. Totally enjoyed my stay here.

We spent a few amazing days in Barcelona! The hostel is very good located and a very good service. Celina helped us a lot to talk to us and recommended us places very cute. Made us feel like home! ❤️ Very friendly and cheerful. Amistat is over!

Great location for the beach. Not really 100% satisfied with the hostel itself. It has some great ideas and organisation of events to keep guests busy. Really cool lady Alejandra takes guests for fun days out at the beach too. The only problem is the rooms are messy and small. Nowhere to sit down in your room comfortably. Lots of walking in and out because the bathrooms are on another floor, difficult to do everything in room as unisex and a lot of the time you will find yourself forgetting things and having to return to unlock your locker. Also mirror placed in dark spot of bedroom. Poor lighting also in all bathrooms. No natural light if you like doing your makeup. Lots of time wasted over these inconveniences but probably a perfect hostel for the guys. Staff are nice, sometimes awkward staff on evening shifts though. Less friendly. Free pasta night but they don't make enough for everyone so better make sure you are the first one in line. Guests are all really friendly, you will make friends and go places. Girls you will probably find a better hostel elsewhere for your needs though. Also make sure you get a bunk with a flat drawer and not a stand up locker. Better experience when you have a bottom bunk too, thankfully they let me change. There is no pool fyi.

Nice hostel for a beach, good place for meeting people. The bar crawl was nice, I really enjoyed. The rooms are clean. The bathroom were okay, didn't like to share the showers with everyone at Hostel because when I forgot my stuff in the showers, people will take them.

The staff are among the most friendly I've seen, the hostel is a 5 minute walk to the beach, and there's always something to do! Guests are very social and the location is right on the Metro (M4). Definitely one of the best hostels in Europe.

Very good youth hostel. The beach is a 10 min walk. Shops nearby (pubs, stores). Offers activities between travellers (beaches, pub crawl, paella collective, paddle, beach volleyball, football). Lockers + fridge available to store food in a room. Pasta free service for the less fortunate. Turntables music available to set the mood in the living room. Locked chests for each person in all rooms.

This place has everything. Spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, close to the beach, friendly staff. It's a great deal.

I was a weekend with some friends to get to know Barcelona.
We liked the hodtel. Very correct prices, clean rooms and especially charming and helpful staff.
A highly recommended place to stay at affordable price.

The staff were really enjoyable to deal with. The hostel was also very inclusive, inviting me and my friend to loads of the activities happening in the city. The location is great — about 5 minutes or so from the coastline! The rooms were a bit small, but who really hangs out in their room all day when they're on vacation? Overall good experience at Amistat!

I got say it I'm a new yorker who loves to travel I did sleep in plenty of hostels from all different part of the globe from south america to europe, Amistat beach hostel guys was a great experience highly recommended,,,, fast Wi-Fi, clean toilets for sure. And the best was the xtra touch they do offer a free pasta for you to cook for your lunch. That's cooooolllllll guys.

Wifi sucks, very slow and drops every 15 min to reconnect and show advertisement, disgusting! Not enough space in rooms too many beds, not enough space to sit on lower beds. Some personal are rude. Coffee machine didn't work at breakfast. Very uncomfortable for a long stay. Far from everything except beach.

The deal has been magnificent, and I recommend it 100%.

Great experience in the Amistat, where both the staff as the stay has been recommended. Breathe Good climate of coexistence and has a lot of variety of activities on offer, both inside and outside the hostel. 5 minutosdela beach and the seafront in an area very set. 15 minutes from downtown in metro. You can't ask for much more, I will try to come back.

Great hostel, very bright with great facilities and friendly staff. Only down side is the rooms are a little small. Overall a great hostel to stay at.
