Pleasant staff, a rich breakfast (buffet).

Clean room. Even 1 bedroom apartments means actually a room with kitchen corner it is a nice place. Parking is 25 euros/day even is not advertised when you reserve that is not free.

Right, comfy beds and clean rooms. Breakfast was very nice.
Good value for money.

The great room with closet shoes and clothes with small kitchen in a closet, fridge microwave electric plates in short, everything you need for DIY in the kitchen. The cleanliness is very good and accurate in the details. Ps. The room is so large you can leave the open suitcases scattered in your room without the risk of tripping. We were in 4 in a room with double bed and two singles but we slept in 4 on the Latvian because it is huge (I would say a double queen) the kids happy at breakfast time because even in the room great reception of the Nice friendly staff and ready To satisfy every customer's need. Highly recommend great value for money.

Good size rooms, friendly staff and by far the best breakfast I've had in Barcelona.

A nice hotel in a great location. Unfortunately, the English skills of the staff are flawed and lead to misunderstandings. In a three-bed room there is no third bed, but a kind of camping couch, which is provided with a thicker mattress after some discussion. Breakfast is recommended, only the breakfast room is much too small. You don't always get a clean sheet.

Correct room, everything worked. We ordered dishwasher and they left us a kit and they washed the cutlery and plates. I clean everything. Quiet area.

I booked to stay at this hotel with my boyfriend for both Friday and Saturday night. Due to a delayed flight we did not arrive to the hotel until after midnight. When we arrived we were told there was a “technical” problem with our booking and that they had no room available for us. No other explanation was provided to us. Also, we were not the only couple who were told this on the night. They told us that they had informed our booking agent and they should have contacted us. As an alternative they said they would transfer our booking to their sister hotel. We were told this hotel was of the same standard and within the same area. Thirty minutes later we were transferred to our alternative accommodation, Hotel Catalonia Park Puxtet. It was nowhere near the standard of the first hotel and was much further out from the centre of Barcelona. Although it was not our fault, the receptionist in the second hotel was in no way helpful. We were eventually checked in and went to our room. The room was dark, noisy and dirty. As I pulled away the sheets I found several dead insects. I am appalled that the hotels took absolutely no responsibility for their incompetence. The second hotel cost far less and we were not provided with any form of compensation. I would not recommend that anyone stay in either hotel.

I stayed here in 2011. The personnel was ok. The breakfast was great. The apartments were very nice, with place for cooking, the living and the separate room and bathroom, all with more than enough space. Just great. One comment: on that period the hotel air was an 60s, if remember well, and I hope they updated it.

Great hotel away great breakfast the staff at the restaurant were very freindly. Demi specially was very courteous and freindly. Only negative thing I can think is that the neighbours next to our room was very loud and I had a restless night.

Very good value for money. Spacious, well-appointed rooms. Friendly staff and very good breakfast buffet. The city centre can be reached quickly, but also in the vicinity of the hotel there are restaurants, bars and shops, often better than in the city centre.

Rooms were decent, but the breakfast staff dropped something on my phone and broke it. Not that big of a deal, but they were really difficult about it, making this a bad experience.

We come for seven years and we are very good staff is very nice the cozy rooms you spend a little, however it is first good central location and well connected, I recommend it to those who come to Barcelona and those who need an ApartHotel-Mariano-Cubi.

On a narrow street in the tranquil Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district, this sleek redbrick apartment hotel is a 4-minute walk from Gràcia FGC train station and 15 minutes from the Paseo de Gracia (home to Gaudi’s Casa Milà). The understatedly chic studios come with wooden floors, kitchenettes, flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Upgraded studios add terraces, desks and/or pull-out sofas, while 1-bedroom units offer separate sitting areas. Room service is available. Really loved the rooms, they were outfitted with so many amenities. Get an apartment with a terrace or hot tub. You won't regret it.

Staff, location and rooms were perfect. Our only complaint was the sulphuric/sewage smell from the bathroom toilet. This does not appear to be an issue with only this hotel and may just be the way it is in Barcelona.

Very rude lady at the reception. I asked for a bottle opener and she told me to come downstairs to get it. Then she told me to wait on hold and never called me back. That was weird. The hotel is too far away from the city. The room was clean though. I wouldnt recommend it. I wish I booked a better hotel near the beach instead of paying here and paying for the taxi to get to the city centre.

Stayed here for three nights. The staff were fantastic and helpful. Very polite and spike a lot of languages. The rooms are far from 4 star. 3 star at best. Very fated decor. Basic stuff. Travel lodge level. Its in a nice area called gracia. But a bit far from tourist attractions.

The apartments are comfortable and spacious, but it lacks the necessary x the cleaning of the crockery. You have to buy it yourself. They are very nice, clean rooms and great location.

The hotel is situated in 3 small blocks from the subway, up to 15 minutes by foot, Garcia is useful.
We had a room on the top floor 5, kitchen and a large terrace, in room air conditioner-window air conditioner with 2 ventilation ventilation and split, both worked, we included the split, it was quieter. By calling any of the claims, but a chic all the excellent work. In the kitchen sink, two-ring stove, small fridge. Tableware, saucepan and a frying pan. There was no kettle, tea set, but it was probably you can ask at the reception, but it was not needed.
Take with breakfast and did not regret. Very tasty, hearty and varied. Much better Breakfast Prague, compared to the same Barcelo Sants breakfasts seemed tastier. Fruits, cheeses, Jamon, sausage-eggs and the like. Delicious baguette.

The room is spacious and the facilities are good. Location is good as well, 4 mins walk to train station.

Terrible location and hotel. The pictures we saw of the hotel online looked nothing like the actual room. They claim to be a 4 star hotel but it's more like a 2 star. The rooms are poorly constructed and the bathroom and showers are super small. On top of that the hotel is like 10-15 minutes drive away from all the major attractions in Barcelona which is very bad compared to the other locations. We hated the hotel so much that after a tiring flight we decided to lose our money for the whole trip and go to a different hotel. Our new hotel is centrally located in the gothic quarter and is walking distance to Plaza Catalunya. Make sure you check several sites for the pictures of this hotel and confirm location is okay for you before you book.

Fabulous value.

Pros: The location is nice. Cons: We've booked a room booked since 25.07 to 28.07.15. By our arrival the staff denied to let us settle. The reason was the booking was made for 2 persons, but we also had our daughter with us. We tried to solve this problem, but as it came out, our booked room was already occupied by someone else. The staff spoke rude to us, without any will to help. We were made to look for another hotel. Terrifying!

Here's to a great weekend in Barcelona! The hotel is in an excellent location. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. 100% recommended.

Can I not recommend unfortunately. Room 505 is Kat 1 star. Photos are a bullshit.

Unforgettable holidays in a great town and in a hotel that deserves its 4 stars for impeccable service, a priceless and a room with all amenities. The hotel staff made us feel completely at ease. We had been recommended this hotel and really value for money has no equal.

We wanted something practical, a weekend in the city, quiet with the possibility of preparing meals and have some independence.
All you can say is that the rooms had an impeccable aspect and that the staff was pleasant and friendly. Without soprersas, very well.

I stayed here in 2009 with my daughter. It started off horribly. The room we were given must have been a room that had not been renovated yet. Upon arrival the window air conditioning unit began spitting out pieces of what I think was black foam. It was also not cooling the room! We had to open all the windows and slept with them open just to stay comfortable. (It was late July — early August. ) Immediately called the next morning to report the problem and expected it to be fixed while we were out sight seeing. Wrong! It was not working and we had another evening of uncomfortable heat! I demanded we have our rooms changed. Once we were accomodated (told it was sold out the night before because we were more than willing to move even if it was late) The room looked like the photos once we switched. What a difference! We even documented the experience with photos! We just had to try to find some humour in this. The front desk staff were extremely indifferent and not at all helpful nor welcoming. I would not recommend this place although the kitchenette and grocery store next door was helpful in order to save on dining.

Stayed there for six days early last summer. We got a pretty good deal through a travel agent; paid 105 euros per night. Overall I found it good, but with a few notable bumps. The room was large and I liked the location. A bit out of the way but I don't mind that. It was about three blocks to a metro station, so easy to get anywhere. The kitchen was very basic, but we were able to patch together a few meals in order to save money. My biggest complaint was that the "king bed" was really two double beds pushed together. Pretty tacky, in my opinion. Also, for some reason sleeping on that "bed" gave me excruciating low back pain, radiating down my right leg. I mean excruciating. After the 2nd night of torture I asked the desk if we could move, explaining the problem. The curt woman basically just said, "no". Luckily I was able to solve the problem myself by putting a pillow under my low back when I slept. Now, I know they were not completely full, and the feeling I got was that the staff go through the motions and don't really care about customer service. Only one woman on staff did anything to make our visit nicer. For this reason, I'd probably not stay there again.

Do not go here if you are looking for service. From the moment we arrived (a group of 3 families renting 4 rooms for 8 days), the front desk person — Nuria — and her manager — Vanessa — were incredibly hostile. Throughout the stay, they routinely greeted our party with disdainful scowls. I have traveled widely but, was genuinely shocked at the hostility. As an example, they called our room at 9 am on the second to last day and told us we had to switch to a different room. Keep in mind, our room was a middle of the hall, undistinguished room. When I objected, they decided we could stay where we were. I do not, however, want to disparage the afternoon and evenng staff. But, although Pablo and associates were unflaggingly professional and helpful, they could not surmount the distaste caused by the morning staff — given our greater interaction with them each morning. I do not know if they do not like children or do not like Americans but, I strongly urge everyone to avoid this hotel. The price may be attractive but, it is simply not worth the aggravation.

I stayed at this hotel from August 20th till August 25th 2010. It was a delight. Never been in a better hotel so far. The rooms are big, large I could say. Excellent service. I recommend that you take the breakfast pack because you'll end up much cheaper than just paying there for it. The hotel is close to whatever you want to visit. Just take the subway and you are there. It's close to the Avenida Diagonal street and from there you can visit La Pedrera and other sites. Breakfast is diverse and delicious. Oh! Not to forget about the staff. They are very helpful. Whatever information you might need just ask and they will help. They also have tickets at the hotel for the main attractions. So if you by from the hotel you don't have to wait in line for buying one. We thought it's not necessary when we went to teh Sagrada Famillia and we ended up staying about 15 minutes on the line. I thought Barcelona would be more spectacular, but it wasn't. So I would come back to Barcelona only to see what I've missed and I would defenely stay at Aparthotel Mariano Cubi. It's in the city center, but on a quite street. By the way, the rooms are exactly what you see in the pics. Great, great hotel.

The staff could not have been more rude or less helpful if they tried (this continually blamed on the fact that "they are alone at the desk"). Yes, you will find a pillow on the bed but do not even think about asking for an extra one. This apartment/hotel has a cook top and one sad, small pot, an aluminum tea kettle and two plates and two cups. The refrigerator is already stocked with items you don't want and they hope you will consume and should you request that it be emptied so that you can use it for groceries. And yes, there is an iron, but not in your room. The one roving iron that the hotel owns will certainly be in someone else's room and if you are lucky enough to get it at some point during the day, be certain that it will be very hot. Best to go around wrinkly in Barcelona. Best to avoid this hotel.
