Lovely rooms, an altogether 5 star experience. The breakfasts on the roof were the highlight, our group was able to chat and chill and pick at the breakfast on offer for ages, just meters from the pool. I'm saving to return already.

There was everything what you need for a perfect stay. There's a gym and a swimming pool on the rooftop. One problem was that you can't see the city inside the pool and it wasn't that clean. The breakfast was very nice. You had a big choice. The rooms were okay, but the view was top. It's a good place to stay.

I was left with a great experience of staying at this hotel. It's beautiful, stylish, cozy.

The bathroom was stinking like cat urine. That's the only one problem. Otherwise very nice rooms and good service. Breakfast good and fulfilling the european standard.

Very recent Hotel, near the tram stop and metro glories. So convenient to everything with public transport.
Nice common rooms, good breakfast, a bit chaotic in times of major turnout, but there is really so much of everything. Pity, for an Italian, lacked the real espresso, but in the room I had a Nespresso… So very nice room, very clean, comfortable bed.

This is a very nice hotel and centrally located. Easy accessible from the airport and public transport. You can walk from here to the old town and many other attractions. Check-in takes time as this is a busy hotel. The rooms are nice, but some rooms may need to be refurbished. The bar on the roof does not have a good selection of food, but the drinks and staff are really nice. The Hamas is a nice touch after a full day out in the city. There is a nice Carrefour market across the street and you can buy food there and bring it back to your room.

Nice hotel conveniently located tram and Metro right next door giving access to all the perfect Barcelona places with children. Beautiful terrace seen sea.

The breakfast really varied with a large selection of sweet or savoury food, small flat, no fresh orange juice, pity.
Not enough elevator in my opinion seen the. Number of rooms.
Be careful to check his Bill before leaving the establishment, they had charged us drinks from the mini bar that we had not consumed, but have deleted them without baling.

The hotel is well located in the city center. Very good restaurant and hearty breakfasts with a wide choice of salty/sweet.

Very nice Hotel and the room was very clean. The hotel has a strategic location, close to the Metro and ten minutes from the marina. All the most famous monuments are just a few minutes away. Friendly staff and very friendly. Correct price. Beautiful view, everything perfect, super recommended!

Good, but also expensive.
Addendum April 2018: The Novotel is coming in the years. During the last stay the room was in a bad condition. Loose tiles in the bathroom, a mouldy door frame, loose casing of the air conditioner and a leaky shower tray. For up to €220 the night you get better hotels in Barcelona.

Good hotel nice room (damage to the sewer smells in the bathroom) service correct. The staff is nice. Speaks several foreign languages.

Wonderful front desk staff that speak fluent English! Room is clean and orderly and is made up perfectly every day. Food is delicious and location is amazing!

I went for a compromise and everything very well, very clean and the staff very friendly.

The rooms were lovely and spacious, the bathrooms had plenty of space and came with very nice complimentary toiletries. At breakfast time there was a variety of different foods that were on offer. For example, I found the soya milk a nice way of catering to people with an intolerance to lactose. Although, I found that the food didn't cater to people who enjoyed halal food or vegetarians as there was a significant amount of food that contained ham.

Very good deal good presence on the day of the awards ceremony of the FECAC and excellent service 5 well deserved stars one of the few places I can suggest to my friends.

The hotel is very good. Clean, friendly staff. There is a private parking (fee). The breakfast is great. The only downside is the restaurant, disappointed with the quality of the products and the service. Otherwise I would recommend the hotel.

It was a convention. Very bad food. No option to choose and we sat down very badly. With heartburn all one day my partner and I. The room was fine.

Hotel is small, rooms are so small but location is very convenient and good. What you can do wake up early in the morning and have a tun to the beach. Its really enjoyable.

An excellent hotel. Very quiet, clean and in good condition. The staff very friendly and the breakfast spectacular, the only one but for me the fried egg is grilled which makes it lose all its charm.

We went to the restaurant and it was a total disappointment. There were hardly any options to choose from, the food was buffet, the service very better, dirty napkins and poorly placed, nothing worthy of a 4 star hotel. I don't want to imagine how it will be a night of lodging at this hotel if the restaurant is like that.
It must be said that the food was OK but they charged you supplements for any change.

A 4-star Bell Hotel located about 800 metres from the centre but very close to the Glorias Metro station… very nice staff, great welcome for kids who get a little gadget just arrived. In the lobby there is a touch screen table for children to play. Room very clean but not spacious. Very big bathroom. Recommended.

This is a nice hotel well located within walking distance of many of the sights in Barcelona. It is modern with comfortable rooms and a nice on premises restaurant. I would eat in the restaurant at breakfast for their very nice and extensive buffet. There was great variety and the quality of the food was also quite good. This is a great hotel if you are a businessman or a tourist and I would highly recommend it.

Everything in line with the chain cleaning and new environments in this case, however: row to access the breakfast room endless files to the elevators in the morning 30 minutes waiting for check out.

Stayed at hotel for a business conference including 1 night. Unfortunately when arrived for the conference it wasn't possible to check into the room and we had to take out bags into the conference. The room was good however with a brilliant view of the centre of Barcelona and the cathedral. Nice touch with complimentary chocolates. The bathroom is clean and serviceable but a little dated.

I only spent one day in Novotel, and when I arrived I was so tired that I am not able to recall how the room looked like. But the breakfast in the morning was very nice. Good experience, I recommend this place. It was a lot better than Ibis in Barcelona.

Its location is very good both to get around Barcelona and to park in the area. The service was detailed and careful with all the attendants. Great dinner and the atmosphere too. And to say of an outdoor swimming pool overlooking all of Barcelona.

Very nice hotel with good transport links. You should risk the few euros surcharge for a room on the upper floors. A wonderful view is guaranteed! The Roof Bar in the evening invites you to a nice end to the day!

Weekend menu with good value for money, creative and good service in general. The nice room even for groups have a very custom-made space.

Nice property in an up-and-coming area of Barcelona. Close walk to a mall, grocery, laundromat, public transport and more. Few notable sites in this area, but easy to get to them from here. The room itself was nice, but very dark even with all the lights on. The front desk staff was very nice. The restaurant and bar staff seemed to be too busy or annoyed to answer tourist's questions. The hotel lobby gets incredibly quiet after 10 pm; so quiet that they turn off the lights. I would stay here again, but would expect a better experience.

We booked the suite with city views and were impressed by the great views on the 15th floor. The wind-sheltered bar and pool (usable, but too cold in October) are located on the rooftop terrace and offer a great view of the entire city. The hotel is very clean, quiet and well maintained. The staff were very anxious and very friendly. The breakfast buffet was also very rich and varied. The location of the hotel is ideally located due to the connection to the open transport network, so that the stops directly in front of the door can be used to the beach, to the city or on the Tibidabo. A shopping centre is directly opposite, a beautiful shopping street with plenty of tapas bars are in the immediate vicinity. We'll be back!

Get an upgrade as a Gold member: VIP room! The alignment of the room was very nice. Building quality … well … has a potential upwards: Unadapted termobrbridges in the window always make noises when the sun is shining. Poor ventilation in the bathroom causes mold in the shower. Guests toilet was too small, you can only stumble there. Staff in reception was always friendly and helpful. Plastering staff always good. The service at breakfast — a disaster: Unfriendly, with no regard for the customer, not helpful, too bad. Water in the pull was always too cold to swim. Otherwise everything would be fine and generally good. I can recommend the hotel further.

We stayed five nights in this beautiful hotel.
Room No. 1722 on the seventeenth floor: Bathroom with shower very large.
Breakfast of 10 and praise: confirmed in the hotel and not when we booked; We were offered a promotion with the kids for free and it was a great choice.
Arrived at the hotel before 2pm and the room was already ready.
From the airport easily reachable in about 40min: Metro L9 Orange-Change to Torrasa then Metro L1 red to glories… 5min walk from the hotel.
Very close also to bus stops in particular bus 92 that stops in front of the park Guell very comfortable.
For those who love to walk you can easily reach the Sagrada Familia and also the Parc de la Ciutadella.
Small but well kept pool on the 19th floor with bar and city view.
On the day of departure we had flight late at night and they kept our luggage without problems at the deposit for free.

Good breakfast in a nice dinning hall. Bad smell in room, complained to the reception desk and they promised to send the service crew, I heard nothing after that. The rooftop terrace was nice, although small, but also sadly had a bad odor by the pool area. I tried checking out in evening before I left to avoid standing in line in the morning, was able to pay but was told I had to pick up my Invoice the day after?! My shirts was sent to laundry on Saturday evening, received on Tuesday afternoon due to public holiday, which was not communicated at the time of drop of.

I do not believe that I got good value for money. Whilst the lobby looks great and the seating is really good… the rooms tell a different story. Rooms are tired and need updating. Carpets need replacement… bathroom needs revamp. First hotel I stayed at which did not have all amenities in room. Breakfast was raved about in all reviews. It was good but nothing special… I guess European countries felt it was great? Breakfast located in a a dungeon? The room was without light and like a conveyor belt. Expected more and settled for less. Coffee was terrible! Orange juice was great… would have like more fruits. The kids section was good.

Stayed in August 2017. Very busy when we checked in do a bit of a wait, but after that excellent service all round. Buffet breakfast is very good, lots of choice and always fully stocked. Rooftop bar and pool is a very nice spot to relax after a long day exploring Barcelona!

Hotel Novotel is modern. As you can see on my pictures rooms and bathrooms are not small. The pool and gym could be a lot bigger. Amenities in the bathroom are awesome. Hotel staff average. View from the bar at the top of the building is breath taking. It also have live music in the evening. Buffett breakfast is continental with lots of dry meat and sausages — for my taste quite boring, so I give it a mediocre rating. TV channels are poor missing major worlds networks. Bed is nice and comfy and duvet cover is of extra quality. Rooms are very clean and quiet. Location of this establishment is not bad at all. Walkable distance to the beach and city center (20 and 30 minutes respectively). Overall I recommend this place to everyone. What ever is your reason to visit Barcelona staying here will not be a mistake.

Pure science Fiction!
I am a travel agent and, on 19/06/2017, I made a reservation (prepaid and non refundable) for 4 people and for 4 nights. I pay with C. C. Of the agency and receive the confirmation voucher that I deliver to the customers. At check-in the receptionist, Cristina Sanchez, informs customers that if they want to take possession of the room they must crawl their C. C. (and we are at the second charge of Euro 936, 00) because it is not the payment (? ). I recontact the reservation office with which I booked and paid the stay and, once clarified that the payment had been made regularly, invite the above lady to repay the customer.
I waited in vain, in continuous telephone contact with my client and claiming expenses in which I would not have to incur, that Mr. Ra sanchez resolves the "mix-up" at the same rate as the charge. Nada de nada: I left my workplace at 21, 30 after receiving by email from Mr. Ra Sanchez a form of authorization to charge on C. C. (another? ) which of course I refused to forward.
At present my client is, in fact, prevented from enjoying the holiday, as well as to freely dispose of his own money because his 936, 00 Euros are at "disposition" of the hotel.

Hotel is well located near the Sagrada Familia. Very good reception at the front desk kind and helpful we were given the option to deposit luggage before and after check out.
Hotel equipped with all the services advertised and functioning. Outside of the hall a Taxi place, nice panoramic rooftop pool.
Certainly if I return Barcelona I will go to the Novotel.

It is the second time we stay in a Novotel after London. Professionalism of the staff. Good quality breakfast Cleanliness of the rooms. Great location for the convenience of transportation close to the Hotel.

Stayed at the 17th with a view of the city just great, staff very kind and always helpful. Some problem with the restaurant bill, charged a scope for 930, €0 clearly a mistake however no one has bothered to check if the bill was right. View from the pool terrace for the unforgettable Sant Joan feast.

At one of our four breakfasts a member of staff brought a tray of fresh fruit juice to our table and offered us one with a nice explanation of the mix used to make it. The doorman/security guard was pleasant and polite — these were the only times in four days we felt in any way valued as customers. The room was clean but basic. Coffee pods were not replaced unless we asked. Room service trays were left for hours in our corridor. The corridor carpet was stained. At check in we were told our soft drinks mini bar was complimentary, but check out staff still tried to charge us. Generally fell anonymous/invisible as if we were just passing through. Not as good as any Novotel we have stayed in before. Hotel location has good public transport links nearby, but I feel sure there are many better places to stay at this price in Barcelona.

The stay was very satisfactory.
The hotel is in a perfect location to be able to visit the city, the Metro is a few meters and the surrounding area offers several restaurants, fast food over a nice mall.
The staff is very courteous, helpful and effeciente, they were also quick to solve a problem in the bathroom (clogged sink immediately repaired).
The room, even being a little small was nice, clean and equipped with TV and free wi fi. The breakfast, which at first seemed a little expensive, was really rich and very good.
What else to say… I highly recommend it.

Great location, close to transport links, lots of lovely restaurants and bars near by, opposite big shopping mall Glories. Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choice and tasty food. Good facilities and birds eye view from the roof top. Only negative point was the pool which was v cold even on a warm day. But overall great city break stay.

Good service and attention. The hotel has many details to entertain both older and small. We were eager to return, for our short stay did not give us much time to be able to enjoy all its services. This something away from the center but very well communicated, with stops of tram, metro and train nearby. The railway is a direct line to the station Sants of Barcelona.

Have stayed in a few Novotel in different country's and feel this one didn't meet expectations. Some staff below par other very helpful. Very noisy due to construction work going on across street so don't expect a long sleep.

Communication between employees and management is really bad! One day say yes next day no! In a restaurant manager teaching waitress how to work just next to our table, really "bravo" for this great organization! How u got 4* this is only the question?!?!?

I love this hotel when I come to work to Barcelona. They treat Me very well, is close to my office and I think q the rooms are very comfortable as well as the room service is very well-perfect for work.

The Hotel is very well maintained. Attentive Staff. You are trying to make the guests ' stay a pleasant one. Negative: — Wi-Fi is very unstable and partly with many crashes. — Parking facilities are in the surrounding area hard to find. — The maintenance staff should be more attentive and defects faster fix it or can better detect. Nevertheless, very recommendable!

Located on the 19th floor of renewed Diagonal going from the 22 @ the sea.  
The terrace, which includes swimming pool with solarium and Zity Bar offers some imposing views of bird, by being, without doubt, one of the highest in the city.

It is a well located hotel close to plaza de las Glorias and the Agbar Tower.
It has a great terrace where interesting parties organized and you can enjoy one of the best in Barcelona.
Its rooms are comfortable, spacious and comfortable, the relationship quality price is correct and I recommend it.

Good hotel with good facilities.

Very good hotel, I was here on business meeting for a few days. Very pleasant large meeting room with good facilities. Rooms were modern and nicely decorated. For holidays this might not be the best hotel; it is located in the old industry zone, it is not located in the centrum and there is not much to do in the direct neigborhood. 30 min taxi ride from the Barcelona airport (we paid aroud 35 euro for one way trip), or 1 bus ride + 1 tram ride (1h trip). A bit expensive as a hotel for regular holiday.

The Novotel Barcelona City is a family hotel very cool in the area of glories.
The Claravia restaurant on the ground floor, is a place of reference in the Mediterranean, healthy and delicious cuisine. The chef Miki takes care that everything is perfect for each diner, and succeeds. I recommend you to try the fresh fish grilled, the sauteed vegetables with cheese, mushroom risotto and chocolate cake. The service is very friendly and has an extensive menu for children with games and other.
In the terrace Zity Bar offers during the months of spring and summer tapas and cocktails with the best views of the city. There is a different schedule for each day. Monday through Wednesday dinner with wine pairing of the wineries towers, Dj Thursday and tapas flamenco Fridays, Saturdays karaoke and Italian cuisine and barbecue Sunday.

Had lunch at their mediterranean themed restaurant "Claravía" and it was a very tasty and healthy menu, I dare say ;) Went there with some friends and we enjoyed every bit of what we tried (their chocolate fondant dessert is mouthwatering). They also have a very nice terrace with views over all of Barcelona. Since the building is pretty close to Jean NOuvel's Agbar tower, it offers an amazing view of it and all the surrounding area, that stretches from the mountains to the sea. Make sure you check it out if you're in the area.

We were there in August 2012 to guest (five) and have enjoyed the five days. Great location away from the hustle and bustle in addition to Torre Agbar, opposite the shopping centre Les Glories with extensive feeding mile and the hop-on-hop-off bus stop opposite. The very modern style hotel is a feast and pampers its guests with a roof top pool-, bar — and fitness area with views over the whole city. Great breakfast buffet, XBox Kinect corner for kids, free Wi-Fi etc. Metro 2 min. On foot. Ideal hotel.

POOR SERVICE POOR HOTEL: The hotel staff is inadequate, especialle their coordinator Ms Mayo. The laundry service lost my shirt, that's bad enough but the worst has yet to come, the Hotel Staff never apologized, never offered a solution (if any) and even charged the laundry service to my bill! I accepted (laughing) because I was in a hurry for my flight but I promised that I will never return to this miserable place. Don't visit it, there are several nice hotels in Barcelona, as long as you want to visit an Hotel runned by monkeys.
