Review of Gran Hotel La Florida G.L Monumento 5*

4th visit here for almost consecutive years and this place never disappoint us. Beautiful view, excellent service and high quality facilities. The building itself has the character, furnitures and interior designs, old wooden floors, marble floors (cracks are meant to be there) made this place a one of a kind. Restaurants will provide you plenty of delicious food. The Barcelonas is our favourite. A gastronomic experience from a very adventurous and creative chef but what makes this restaurant special for us is having the two enthusiastic people you can ever meet, Somelier Zenia who have such incredible passion with wine and she will take you through an incredible wine pairing experience. Luciano delivers excellent service at all time. He will go extra miles to give you the most amazing gastronomic experience. This two combined, you will feel like there are 4 people serving you all through out your meal. Lucas from reception, just the person to contact if you need to get to know places and if it is your first time in Barcelona. Loyal and Polite… Housekeeping people who tirelessly make up the room in such a high standard and not all hotels get your bed ready before you sleep and with a bit of personal touch to it. We always arrived from a day out and always amazed with how our room is done compared to how we left it (messy at times). Incredible! Smells amazing too… I highly recommend this hotel for many reasons. I think myself and my family have stayed here often enough to give the most valuable and credible review. People often arrived tired and grumpy at times, hence some bad reviews bound to be written as you cannot please everyone. But 4th visit and still planning to come back says it all… Well done to all the team that keeps Gran La Florida special… keep up the good work! We will see you again next year! From South Family…
