Perfect gataway. The hotel is beautiful and the hotel staff is to kind and helpfull. The views are ondiscribable. It’s easy to get to Barcelona center with the taxi or bus. We had a perfect stay.

Had an amazing stay at the Gran Hotel. Very nice staff welcoming us and took care of our lugage and asked if we wanted drinks. We were shown by pointing where things were (I saw other people was shown around by the valet, a little scratch there) The views from this Hotel is probably the best you can ever get from an hotel in BCN!. The roomservice and rooms were super, altough we had two minor problems with our rooms… The AC was reeeeally slow (took one day to cool the room 2 degrees. ). We also had a funny smell coming from the drains at the bathroom from time to time… It's an old building and that has taken it's toll. All in all this was not a perfect stay, but quite near!

Stunning view from the balcony, location is quite far from the town but as we had a car it is what we wanted, an experience. Breakfast was classic and well made, just the drinks / food menu for the pool area was short of our expectations. Parking price it’s expensive for being half in the mountains, should be included Not quite a five star experience but overall a nice stay.

If you're a posture lover, it's a perfect place. My feeling after the stay at the florida hotel is a iwanted and I do not arrive. The views are spectacular and the service excellent. But the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, just like the rooms and the quality of the food on the terrace for the excessive price. I didn't expect the only thing they sold is the views. I'm sorry, I've been in much better places than this, with better prices, maybe without such views, but there are many other more important things to value in a hotel.

Great view of Barcelona, great service.

What an amazing hotel. The best view in Barcelona! I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch of the new Bentley GT where they took over the hotel. A 3 course meal in the evening and a lovely breakfast in the morning before a day of driving the brand new Bentley GT. The whole hotel was just perfect the rooms was massive the spa was something you see on a film everything was top of the line no faults at all. Thank you Gran Hotel Is Florida and Bentley UK for an amazing weekend.

What a horrible experience we have had with this restaurant. We were told we were able to come for lunch and have a tasting menu. We drove for two hours to get here, which isn’t easy, and when we arrived they told us that the restaurant was closed. They gave us a table to have some snacks by the pool instead! This is not the type of lunch you want to have when you’re bringing your parents to have a wonderful experience at a five star hotel!

The Grand Hotel L Florida is situated on the hills around Barcelona, the views from the hotel are amazing. The staff is ok but the restaurant staff are very nice and friendly and they give a high quality service. The breakfast is ok. However the pool are not so nice, the water in the Jacuzzi and in the main pool is not clean that's the reason for my low score.

I love it. I've been coming for three years, there have been changes, especially in the service. Some days very well catered for, others not so good. The hotel was very clean and the room was very good. I'll keep coming.

Welcome, service, location with breathtaking views… Nothing to say excellent stay. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Helpful and attentive staff, I recommend.

The hotel relies mainly on the view which is beautiful, but the view does not do everything!
The trip to the city centre is good in transport with an approximate duration of 30 minutes.
The site announces that the staff speaks French but in reality only 2 employees speak a comprehensible French which is relatively low especially if one is in the emergency.
From the point of view of the room, the bedding is impeccable, the furniture slightly vetuste but nothing serious! The cleaning is done despite some remaining hair when we arrived which is always unpleasant at the level of restoration the breakfast offers a very wide choice of product which is perfect but paradoxically the map for the evening offers very little Choice! For drinks at the bar, we order beverages and add peanuts without asking, and the surprise the small portion of peanut (10-15env. ) is priced at €7, as expensive as a drink consumption which is absolutely intolerable to make pay CA as expensive.

The hotel is out of town, about 30-45 minutes drive from the center, on the hills. This offers a wonderful view of Barcelona. Especially beautiful here in the evening and at night. Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine. The rooms are clean. The staff is polite and smiling.

As its name suggests, it's a great hotel. Very good restaurant service with good menu, exquisite cuisine and meticulous service. The only one but you could put it would be the issue of parking the vehicle. Otherwise, it's all perfect.

A disappointment since the last time I visited. Today I have attended to breakfast without staying, the quality of the fantastic breakfast. The service a disaster from the first phone contact, an incompetent receptionist diverting the call to the restaurant with a phone off. The unfriendly door driver. The pleasure of breakfast there is over.

The staff were very helpful. I have been on several occasions to entertain weddings and communions. Cosy and emblematic place.

A very nice hotel with spectacular views. By the type of hotel and service they should improve on the details, furniture somewhat worn out. The service right but make you wait almost 10 minutes to be catered for at the entrance I don't think it's for a hotel like that. I liked the family atmosphere.

The best of the best, me and my wife were here summer last year and we will be back. The personnel were excellent and service was top notch.

Room was really nice and the view spectacular. Pity the spa cannot really be called so: the water in the swimming pool was so cold we couldn't have a bath… Same goes for the hydro massage tub. The small sauna inside the bathroom wasn't even hot. The food is quite good, but we would have expected more from a 5 stars hotel.

I took a room with a sea view and was assigned to view the city and mountain, on the first floor, and with a tree that covered everything. When you go down to breakfast, the hostess who accommodates (French), asked us to wait until I finished teaching the buffet to the guest in front of us, ie 5 minutes standing, quiet, for lacking the staff room (in a great luxury, quite regrettable).
The service is nefarious, inexperienced and without tact. Details like that you sit at a table with a tablecloth full of crumbs and you take them off with your hand and say it is clean, really, that has been unfortunate. It is not a great luxury and I say it with knowledge because I have been dedicated to the sector all my life.
Basically, I wouldn't repeat this hotel, not a peep.

Spectacular views, nefarious service for being a great luxury hotel. Food of very basic quality, not focused to select palates but to a foreign public without gastronomic knowledge. The bad posters, to the point that the tea tiramisu could not eat, sandy texture and only tasted a cheese ' basic brand '. We asked to return it and we discussed the return without them having tried it, creating an unnecessary scene in hotel of this category. To be able to pay, order coffees and posteres we had to warn the waiters, a staff too inexperienced for such a hotel.

Well, the views are just spectacular. However, service is not up to standard. It took forever for them to serve desserts and when they finally came, they were just not good. In particular, they served us a green tea tiramisu which tasted like cheap cheese (no trace of green tea there). When we complained, the manager ARGUED with us for 5 minutes and made a scene. No way this is a 5* superior service!

The great Florida is one of my favorite hotels in Barcelona brings together all the amenities and the restaurant on the terrace is excellent, the visits are unbeatable, the rooms are very spacious the staff is very friendly and helpful either or I recommend.

One of my favorite hotels in Barcelona next to the Arts, just like you will enjoy a fabulous hotel (although otherwise obviously), breathtaking views, huge rooms, very good facilities and excellent treatment. Although it is more withdrawn from the centre it is totally worth the commuting.

Great hotel, we had a great weekend with our kids. The staff is on top and attentive. Amusement park next door, very nice indoor pool. I highly recommend it.

We were housed in the Junior Suite (603) with a refined decoration of méditerranén style. Our room was on the top floor and we had a great view of the cathedral and the amusement park as well as the whole city of Barcelona. Litéries Impéccables for parents and our toddler. The staff were very friendly and helpful at the reception as well as in the restaurant during the morning breakfast. There is a shuttle that takes guests to the city centre but you have to book in advance. I would recommend this hotel for a family stay.

The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended experience.

Bad service. Incomprehensible delay to bring us the food. They made mistakes with the drink. After more than an hour of waiting, being six people who had only asked for one dish per diner, we had to leave without eating because alleged problems in the kitchen and there was no way to get them to serve us. They didn't even think of serving us an appetizer or having some detail to make the wait less heavy, although we had two kids and we claimed the food several times. Incomprehensible in a place that is presupposed good category, and especially surprising and disappointing because there were only four tables occupied in the dining room.

4th visit here for almost consecutive years and this place never disappoint us. Beautiful view, excellent service and high quality facilities. The building itself has the character, furnitures and interior designs, old wooden floors, marble floors (cracks are meant to be there) made this place a one of a kind. Restaurants will provide you plenty of delicious food. The Barcelonas is our favourite. A gastronomic experience from a very adventurous and creative chef but what makes this restaurant special for us is having the two enthusiastic people you can ever meet, Somelier Zenia who have such incredible passion with wine and she will take you through an incredible wine pairing experience. Luciano delivers excellent service at all time. He will go extra miles to give you the most amazing gastronomic experience. This two combined, you will feel like there are 4 people serving you all through out your meal. Lucas from reception, just the person to contact if you need to get to know places and if it is your first time in Barcelona. Loyal and Polite… Housekeeping people who tirelessly make up the room in such a high standard and not all hotels get your bed ready before you sleep and with a bit of personal touch to it. We always arrived from a day out and always amazed with how our room is done compared to how we left it (messy at times). Incredible! Smells amazing too… I highly recommend this hotel for many reasons.

An amazing hotel with great customer service and good breakfast buffet. I stayed at this hotel with my fiancé for our birthdays and we really enjoyed our stay and the views. We had the terraced suite with a jacuzzi, the bathroom was beautiful with the room having enourmous space. Thank you to Elise, Alex and all the staff at reception, I really enjoyed our stay. The city is a 30 minute drive and the hotel has a shuttle to run from.

Impeccable Service and fabulous rooms. A great experience, but I would advise a split stay in this hilltop hotel and a city central hotel. However there is a free shuttle service that runs 3 times a day (not in the evening) by a wonderfully kind and helpful driver named Sergio, if you feel you want a complete retreat.

Great mountainside hotel that offers luxurious accommodation, excellent food options and wonderful views of Barcelona. Each room seems to be unique in size and decor, with all of them fitted out to a high standard. Some have balconies, some huge bathrooms and others are I've two floors. It's the terrace bar that wins out though. Plenty of space, great bar service and those stunning views. It's a glorious place to spend a few hours…

Great hotel, great location if you want the total peace — not for a city visit; total service disaster — in the late afternoon over 2 hours waited until the room was ready (only around 17:00) ruined first day; untrained staff in the restaurant — BSP. Ordered a glass of beer and get a bottle and glass of wine; impossible organization, no free tables for guests because all are reserved for guests who never come; very poor transport links with public transport from evening at 19:00 at all no longer or taxi for €40; There is the promised shuttle bus.

Some strange hair in the bathroom — probably by the cleaning staff. Unfortunately a good example of a Toplocation with once good, but for years of stagnant performance.

The TB Bar is the poolside bar at the Gran Hotel La Florida, and has one of the best views over Barcelona If you want to disconnect from the city, on the way to Vallvidrera you will find this magnificent hotel hanging on the side of the mountain and from where you can see how far your silhouette and the park of the Tibidabo. It is a great option to watch the sunsets or relax in the evenings with live music, in a unique environment.

Beautiful Hotel, sits on top of a mountain, overlooking Barcelona. `Hotel offers two swimming pools, one indoor, one outdoor. Most of the rooms have balconies with great views of Barcelona, and the countryside. The staff was Professional, and helpful in every way. Large bathrooms, with great showers, and soaking tub. The hotel offers two dining rooms, and a lobby bar, with great views of the city, and sea. Short walk to top of Mountain, to view amusement park, that dates back one hundred years, and a wonderful old Cathredral. The Hotel offers a shuttle to the City, cabs take around five minutes to arrive. Great place to stay, on your visit to Barcelona. The view is worth the price of the room.

Place where every year I celebrate my birthdays. It is without a doubt, the best Barcelona hotel panoramic of the city, and although you have to go by car because there is no transport, is worth. They have a highly advisable spa and the quality of all the food is exquisite.

While it is true that the care is very good, as befits a hotel of this category, and that comfort is noticeable both in rooms and in gastronomy, what really stands out without competition is the location. If you want to have some of the best panoramic views of Barcelona you must stay at this hotel. It's almost impossible not to be impressed with the vision that you have from there, you're life BCN or come as a tourist a few days.

The spa is a delight for lovers of relaxation. Against the rates are quite high so better check well bids if you can downgrade something.

Ideal hotel for a romantic or special occasion. The hotel is located under the tibiado that from its rooms you can enjoy fascinating views over Barcelona. On the other hand, if what you want is to visit the city this hotel is a little far from the Centre and depending of the car to be able to move around the city. It is an ideal place to miss a few days in the mountains of Collserola. There are rooms of different types, suites with hot tubs and hot tubs. All with careful design and comfortable. How wonderful hotel. Views of Barcelona from Collserola, spa, guest rooms, bathrooms (giants! can dance in the shower! ) make this hotel the best that I have ever been. It is a 5 star luxury very well deserved, all clean and incredibly generous. A luxury.
