Didn't like to assumed as "Mr. ", it would be polite to use "Mr. Or Mrs. /Ms" if you can't tell the gender for sure by the name. Otherwise the service was polite and professional, the hotel was clean throughout and had enough extra pillows and blankets. Location excellent if your looking to stay int the center of the city, near shopping, restaurants and a few well known sights. Breakfast was good and served late enough for sleepyheads. Would definitely stay again and recommend it both for business and pleasure.

Limited facilities like no variety of food in breakfast… no pool. No gym. No warm Welcom on arrival. No complimentary water bottles in the room etc.

Welcoming staff out front. Rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are very well appointed. A few blocks from the cathedral and old Barcelona. In walking distance of many of the city's touristy sites.

Great location and professionally run property. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights before our cruise from Barcelona. The location is great and is on a quieter street away from the noise but still very accessible. We had a room at the back of the building so we did not hear any street noises at night. The property is close to Placa De Catalunya and the subway. Lots of popular places to eat nearby. The staff are professional and courteous. The rooms are very clean and toiletries stocked. Beds are comfortable. I would consider this property the next time I visit Barcelona. Rates are comparable to other hotels in the area.

Have never experienced anything like this before. For a lot of money, very small room and that without a window. Loud, super loud and naturally dark with no windows. Breakfast is way too expensive. Fingers off.
Location is very good, but since every hostel in the city centre is better than the hotel here. Staff super relaxed and slow. So far, the worst stay.

All that can be good, is not enough to qualify as a hotel does not have a heating system (stated by the responsible of the reception desk). I chill in their room. I spent restless nights, even when the days that I spent were not for nothing winter. When claimed, they sent me a calefactorcito radiator to oil 20 x 30, as. Deterrent to passengers as a nuisance, and as a message that you do not alter them. So with that attitude I chose not to be good, before you have a conflict with the "hotel"
I'm not coming back, nor recommend it.

Excellent location (for access to Las Ramblas, Sagreda Familia, and the Airport. Breakfast is brilliant. Don't expect to have Tea/Coffee making facility in the room (or instructions on how to use the TV). Don't expect to get any Drama/Music programmes in English (only News). Very responsive if you need more pillows or toiletries. Would go back.

Good hotel and location, but the terrace was closed most of the time, so as the restaurant during evenings. Only bar with pizza and drinks open. It would be nice to have at least a small section as a gym/workout area and possibly spa.

Let’s differentiate Facts with Opinions. This website was created to share our overall experience and when I write old, it means outdated. You can call it classic (meaning old but prized? ) I’m a fully aware traveler and your 5 stars reviews does not match with what I experienced.
Let’s differentiate Classic – a classic Bordeaux vs a classic Chateau Margaux, they are both located in Bordeaux BUT there is a huge difference between both wines, still both are located in the same wine region. I feel your classic description is like the “classic Bordeaux” but you are not a Chateau Margaux, Lafite… my dear.
Facts – old / classic – you don’t need to renovate, just change the person who decorated the hotel. It is the worst.
Opinion –plenty of better options in Barcelona and you can stay in very nice classic Catalonian hotels for exactly the same price.

Very well located hotel, right on the Passeig de Gracia. The Nobel shopping district of Barcelona. Metro and bus are also nearby. The staff is very nice and there is a great breakfast buffet.

It was a very nice hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfasts lack variety and the orange juice not good at all. My room overlooked an inner courtyard and it was very dark, the décor is to be redone to get into the 21st century.

Excellent location, close to everything, we stayed for a double stay in 203 hab, very comfortable king bed, spacious rooms, very clean, 24 hr lobby, very friendly and professional staff. Ideal to get to know Barcelona and also we got a glass of welcome Cava in a cozy and quiet barsito that have next to the breakfast room. The only constructive criticism is that between hot and cold water there is no middle point, you have to take a few minutes to graduate the water and give it a good temperature, but then everything else is perfect the bathroom is very clean and spacious.

We had a wonderful stay at the St. Moritz in beautiful Barcelona. The hotel is located down a quieter side street off one of the main streets in Barcelona within easy walking to the two Gaudi houses, shopping and cafes. The Hotel provided a very nice breakfast every morning for our group and were quite accommodating with any questions or requests that we made. I will definitely recommend them.

The housekeeping was terrific. Our room was clean and we always had new bathroom amenities. The breakfast had a variety of good food and the staff was very courteous. We would recommend our friends for your hotel. It made a trip to Barcelona memorable.

We felt welcome in this hotel. Very clean and the rooms to the backyard were very quiet. The breakfast buffet was consistently well stocked and the cakes extremely tasty. Especially we have closed Alejsandra from reception to our heart. We can highly recommend this House and will definitely check in again on our next trip to Barcelona. Rooms nothing like the pictures on line. Rooms are old have not been updated for decades. Carpet full of stains totally disgusting. Very overpriced. We paid $275 end of september and they would not even offer breakfast. Nice building but rooms equivalent to those for $100 per night. Bedspreads from the 60's feel more like a simple old thin cover than a comforter expexted from a 4 star hotel. 3 star hotel at best. Location is very good but other hotels available at lower price and centrally located.

Absolutely loved the stay. Everything fantastic apart from one thing. I bought a nice whisky without checking the price first. My own fault. €14! Just be aware. Great location. Great staff. Very clean.

Beautiful hotel in a strategic location and equipped with underground parking.

For what I paid I could not believe… we were given any possible accessory… combs, slippers, toothbrushes with toothpaste, lavender scent to facilitate sleep… so there was really everything in a huge room.

One of the nicest hotels ever mainly due to the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. I have never been in a more welcoming hotel. I asked for several things and there was immediate response. Every time I was greeted with a smile and eagerness to please The room was very nice and cleaned well daily. I would highly recommend the HCC ST. Moritz to anyone visiting Barcelona. The location is perfect too!

Very clean and traditionally styled. Staff friendly. Continental breakfast. Quite a walk to the Gothic area of town. Sadly no tea coffee making facilities in the room. TV didn't work. Despite a few minor issues. Nice place… would recommend.

In general it's a nice hotel. Location is fantastic. Almost all the interesting places are within walking distance. Receptionists were helpful. The room is well equipped, yet there was no coffee/tea and cattle in the room. When we asked for one, we got thermos jug so we needed to call reception every time we wanted hot water. Another thing: during the room make up, it seems that house keeping staff tried to save on disposables, so we needed to ask explicitly for the things. Besides that, it was a good experience.

Functional Hotel located 2 steps from Paseo de Gracia. Good structure with comfortable rooms.

Spotlessly clean, varied Buffet breakfast and garage in the same building.

Impossible to sleep because of the noise of air conditioner to the 5th floor, breakfast was pretty basic.

Very good hotel compared to its location. The staff is at the height of a 4 star but the small breakfast (buffet) is pretty sloppy. Coffee cold not cold drink. No Cook to prepare something on the spot. Let's say a 2 * for that. A small gym won't be in too. Otherwise well overall.
