Friendly helpful staff. Choice of restaurants in the little square next door. Short walk to hop on hop off bus routes. Smallish room but extremely clean and comfortable. Beautiful roof top pool area. A good choice.

The cleanliness was very poor. I found this morning a lot of black and long hairs rolled on my foot as I came out of the shower. And my hair is short and blond! All in all the room very dark, with dark overbed, which after what happened to me in the bathroom… Suspect. Light colors don't hide the dirty. The spring mattress was noisy and quite uncomfortable. I don't recommend it.

Nice décor, cleaning every day, but the shower gel is replenished not every day, the linen is white.

We did a group meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was very good and very clean. The food is very varied at the same time as elaborate. There is an art collection at the front desk and adjoining rooms that make you have a nice time, as if you were in a museum. A highly recommended site.

3-star hotel and more!
Great service, friendly, friendly and they take care of the clientele! Rooms also nice, although the beds in the double room were a little awkward! Every day at 5:00 p. M. There was room service that left you a chocolate! It is not very close to the main attractions but for that you can take a walk or catch the Metro or the bus. It's about 2/3 km from Barceloneta! It was a pleasure to stay here and I will definitely return!

Price in normal. Old building but remodeled. All very nice and very comfortable.

Stayed for 3 nights at the hotel.
The standard room is very small you can barely move… the room was very dusty and the bathroom very outdated.
There is no view of the city but on a wall we didn't get any fresh air when you opened the window.
The staff was nice and the breakfast was OK too (€15 per person, you get better breakfast in town).
So who needs only one bed to sleep is the hotel OK but more not…

Rooms are always clean, breakfast is fresh and delicious, its location 5min away by walking to metro station and at city center so the hotel deserves 5 stars.

Nice little hotel with good service and polite sraff. Rooms are small but very tidy. Serve a decent breakfast choice. Hotel is close to the centre of the City and all of the main sights are within easy reach. Certainly stay there again.

When I stayed at the Astoria hotel in Barcelona I didn't think I would find myself in such a fantastic hotel. Not only does it have charm in its architecture, a rooftop terrace with pool and very good rooms, but it has a superb customer service.
The front desk staff is lovely, and if you have a chance to meet the hotel manager you will see that it is equally polite, making the stay a pleasure.
The food in the cafeteria excellent also, just like the kitchen staff.
Really, the Hotel Astoria in Barcelona deserves a warm congratulations on how you treat the customer. Excellent.

What I liked the most was the staff treatment. Very professional and friendly. Good location. Good breakfast. Simple but very clean room.

The Astoria was an incredible surprise! I booked the hotel when I landed in Barcelona at about 0830. We arrived at the hotel at 1000 and figured we would ask for them to hold our luggage until check-in time at 1400, but they checked us right into our room. Throughout our stay, the staff was nothing but nice, helpful, and exceeded all expectations. The hotel is centrally located in the city and within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, popular tourist destinations, and the Diagonal metro station. I highly recommend the Astoria and cannot wait to stay there again on my next visit.

A beautiful old hotel, especially at a reasonable price. It is centrally located — the city is easy to explore, the staff is friendly. Next there is an impressive collection/Ausstellung of drawings and posters from ca 1890 — 1960

Excellent attention. We loved the stay and the efficiency of the whole team working at the hotel. The staff at the reception were very helpful. I recommend 100% will return safe.

We came with our baby, with several lumps and they helped us just to get it up to the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very nice hotel. Coming back to Barcelona we'll be back here for sure. :-)

A comfortable and efficient place accessible for the price.

The location and staff make this 4 stars. If you need just a room, it is ok. Although the standard rooms are boxy, with no views and feel a little claustrophobic. Our main sink was blocked with past guests hair, cleaned it and didn't complain but this is something that shouldn't happen in any hotel. Corridors are noisy, especially in the morning with maids cleaning. Location is in a great part of town for attractions, eating, shopping and transport.

Hotel Spotless and 15 min from the Ramblas. The staff was very helpful.

Very polite, friendly and professional staff. The facility is very clean and functional. They let the doggies in and love them. The cleanliness is daily, despite our schedules were varied. Perfect and advisable.

Located in the centre of Barcelona, I attended a friends meal, very good menu, reasonable price and very professional attention.

For fans of OPISSO, there is a permanent exhibition of his works very interesting, which is worth visiting.

This hotel is very comfortable and I recommend it to everyone who wants to have a good stay in Barcelona.

Have been to this hotel many times. Comfortable. Convenient & close to all emmenites. Buffet breakfast hot. Cold. Helpful friendly staff. Spacious lobby,, very interesting display pictures, old posters etc.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is very nice. However, the rooms are a bit noisy. When we were there (5 days) The sauna was defective and was not repaired even in time. What a pity… But otherwise the hotel was great. The rooftop pool is a little highlight.

I'm very pleased with the service they gave to us. They were very nice, kind and respectful. The suite was very clean and with good towels and bed sheets. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety. Excelent location and conforatble ambience in the lobby. I certainly recommend staying here! We really enjoyed!

Nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable; staff are friendly and helpful. Roof top pool is small but nice for cooling off after a day's sightseeing. Would happily visit again.

Lovely hotel and is in a great location. Felt safe walking at night around the area back to the hotel. Train and bus stations near by which are excellent. If you buy a ticket in a tabacs shop you can use it for both train and bus which is handy. It is €10 for the ticket and you can reuse it. The staff on the reception desk are so helpful and friendly. Rooms are nice. Would definitely stay here again if I was going back to Barcelona.

Very nice hotel, not huge rooms, but well appointed. The lobby felt very nice and had a pretty upscale feel to it. The bathrooms were nicely done and the rooms had a very good shutter on the window which helped block out noise and light while you sleep.

All round pretty good. Rooftop pool was excellent though they failed to mention its existence at check in (only knew after reading reviews prior to arrival). Clean, cheap and well located for the tube at Diagonal. Do not accept rooms starting 13 — as they have no natural light and we were moved out of a couple of these after complaining about ants.

Good hotel, nice interior, comfortable beds, almost does not lack enchufae air conditioning in the summer since it is fresh, the pool is a bit small and the terrace also but it is cozy.

Just a street of Diagonal and 5 minutes from Passeig de gracia, this hotel seemed Super when we came for the first time to barcelona. Centrally located and perfect for a weekend. The rooms are quite large and very correct service. Everything very clean and very quiet at night for sleep.

No Wi — Fi in the rooms. All ancient and unfriendly employees. 100 euros is worth to try another hotel.

It is a very bad hotel, poorly maintained with Service pesimo, antipatiquisima and nothing collaborating people. We stayed a week and unfortunately we had paid in advance, so we could go. Next to the beach, but in the worst area, with "patera story" and prostitution.
