Kitchen. Slow to serve. The 2 dishes were wrong. Pity. The spectacular site. But slow and cold cooking. Good quality products.

First of all, the unique location of the hotel! The views are wonderful… My room is fantastic and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast is perfect and very complete and varied. The restaurant and the service great! And the front desk staff (Edward in particular) very atent@s and pleasant. Had a detail precious with my mother (we celebrate her meets there)

The service here is awful. They don’t care about your experience here. This was made apparent to me by our stay and our dining experience. The food made me and my boyfriend sick all night. It was undercooked and fishy tasting. We ate some of it because we hadn’t eaten all day. I told the waiter and he said it was fine and just shrugged and walked away. We tried ordering something else and that was also way undercooked. Let me preface this by saying that I eat at all kinds of restaurants and I am hardly a picky eater but this was TERRIBLE! I wouldn’t feed that garbage to my dog! Seriously, my dog eats better than the food here. The wait staff are rude and no one has time to answer your questions. We traveled all through Spain and we were excited to visit this town and this has been by far the worst experience we had on our trip.

Hotel with an unbeatable location. Rooms and more than just right food. The best thing is the cove next to it with a direct access to the hotel. We've been very pleased. We'll repeat for sure. Thanks a lot.

The place is interesting, a bay with a huge number of boats, the sea is clean but unrealistic lyant a lot of people (August), no animation for children, not even a mini park with swings or something like that is not. The hotel itself is beautiful but old, all the doors are creaking, the noise insulation is zero, you can hear all the neighbors. We were unlucky with the room. Do not take 130 and 132 it is just burrows overlooking the ground, considered a family room. Breakfasts are decent, dinner too. Parking is within walking distance, kind staff speaking several languages. In general, a good end to a pleasant vacation, but it is not ready to return here.

Beautiful, clean rooms. Top location. Super breakfast buffet. Parking situation very bad (for 10 euros per day limited garage with prior reservation — otherwise it looks bad). Restaurant and bar relatively expensive — but very tasty! English skills of the service staff more than poorly. We would come back!

Really nice family run hotel, very well kept. Excellent service. Overlooks Tamariu beach. Excellent position. Some steps to climb but well worth it. Food really good too. Can't fault it.

Just spent 2 weeks at this excellent hotel in an idyllic location. Staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly. As tea and coffee drinkers — tea making facilities would of been ideal in the room. Overall would recommend the hotel. Dalbara Singh.

Everything OK. The situation of the hotel is unbeatable. We have to be in a room that was directly on the beach of Tamariu and the views are unsurpassed. The breakfast is excellent but the à la carte dinner we ended up making the weight. The risotto was a bit decepcionant. For the rest more than pleasant.

Very nice hotel. The breakfast is very good and the staff are very nice. Only downside to the hotel bar. Read the card well and be confirmed the price of the drinks. Clean and large rooms. Mini Fridge appreciated.

Absolutely wonderful stay in Hotel Hostalillo — stayed in early Spring. Our room was simple but perfect for our stay and the shower was excellent water pressure and temperature. The Wifi worked great only one night it was spotty. Worked with Daniel who was gracious and helpful at every turn. Benjami our server for breakfast and dinner was fantastico.

A Cove of the Costa Brava spectacular!

Big rooms, best location in the beach in my favorite spot in costa brava. Excellent service and foot. What else?

Excellent from every point of view! Tamariu is a real gem.

I have an absolute soft spot for this place. Very ambigous to rate it, as I want to keep this ghem for myself! Of season you wont find a much more tranquilizing spot. Enjoying breakfast in the sun on the terrace just looking on the Mediterraen is priceless.

Very disappointed: (How can you explain a rise of more than 40% in the price of the rooms?
I know the Hostalillo for many years and the truth that I am very happy with it, the location is ideal and you can forgive many things.
The evolution has been very positive but is losing the charm of cozy Hotel a few years ago and is becoming something else…
The surprising thing is the price rise of this year 2018 compared to past years.
Unfortunately I will have to look for other similar options that there are and you can continue rising prices to infinity and much more.
A shame because I really feel very disappointed…

It's only a 3 star but its location is a 5 star!
If you take a room, imperative with sea view, and balcony if possible
The joy of going to bed and getting up with the sound of the waves!
The bar and lounge have a magnificent view
Breakfast is varied and will suit everyone
2 small downsides: very long wait at the bar … and bathrooms not hot enough
But these are details so much I'm a fan of this hotel!

Views for days! This hotel offers the most picturesque views over the Costa Brava. Waking up to the sound of the waves was such a treat. The room and the overall vibe of the property felt a bit dated but this was easily forgotten as soon as you'd look out of the window. Furthermore we enjoyed a delicious arroz negro with an excellent white wine. Overall, lovely hotel at reasonable rates and unbeatable views!

The rooms all have a view of the sea, the view of the cove is superb, the staff is very welcoming, and the bar offers very good tapas, difficult to resist elsewhere… The lounge area is really nice also, perfect for reading facing the sea.

Imposing hotel. Spectacular view from the rooms! They can be a little small but comfortable and with the view they have, one cannot complain about anything. The facilities are spacious and comfortable. It has a large dining room for breakfast with a beautiful view. Then there is a very comfortable bar area, quiet and pleasant. The fact of being in a corner of the beach and elevated gives a brutal view of Tamariu to the visitor. Would definitely go back!

One of the best hotels I've stayed at in a while. All the staff from reception to restaurant are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple and well finished but the sea views are extraordinary. Their breakfast buffet and restaurant food is delicious and fresh.

The place is magical! The view is phenomenal! But the rooms are not over the top and the restaurant service is very slow!

Hotel uses cleaning products that are just plain crass. The room smells like a freshly unpacked wonder tree.
Who likes it, like. We have to push the bed to the window in order to be able to sleep at all. Unfortunately we do not regret it again, because hotel, location and sort are really top.

AMAZING VIEWS and GREAT POSITION! Right on the water with a few steps leading down to a beautiful cove, couldn't believe how cheap the rates were! From the moment we arrived we encountered nothing but great service from everyone. Helpful receptionist, showed is a map to find free street parking. The rooms are basic but comfortable and come with a good range of toiletries, air con and free Wi-Fi. The breakfast was delicious and a great range of choices! We wished we could have stayed longer, a little paradise! Will be coming back one day for sure.

Splendid location and enviable place. Natural port, ideal for bathing and even sailing and scuba diving. Very revomendsble to get a great relaxation and rest. We will return. Pepe.

We came here for three nights with our three kids and did not want to leave. Lovely scenery, nice, clean, updated hotel rooms with views and beach access; the friendliness of the staff throughout makes it a very comfortable place to stay if you do have to leave home! would go there again over any other place we visited at the Costa Brava.

In relationship quality price has seemed very expensive. Only if you get a room with good views are something worth the price, otherwise, nothing but be a three-star hotel normalillo.
