I got married 20 years ago at this Parador. Came back to celebrate it with all thee family. As good as it has always been. Such a great experience. Marcos at the reception desk gave us a tour bc we told him we married here and our boys wanted to see the halls and all the rest. This guy knew all the story of the castle. A must do if you come to this Parador. Then we found a champagne bottle chilling in our room. Marcos, you are the best.

Went there with the family to have some drinks. The place is absolutely amazing, very beautiful, worth the drive. With the drinks they gave us some peanuts.

Drive up a tiny road right up to the castle where you will find parking. The parador is NOT handicap accessible. You will need to carry your luggage up a short flight of steps. Staff is absolute lovely. Restaurant available inside. Rooms are large and comfortable (modern). Would absolutely recommend.

A charming place crowning the city of Sigüenza. Their lounges invite you to have a drink after visiting the city. You Breathe history when You walk in. It Is A pity that there are works everywhere that show the site, but I guess someday they will end. They Announce cultural events such as dinners with renowned writers. Totally recommended to visit the Parador… And the historic city of Sigüenza!

It is one of the main castles of the Spanish geography. Although it is very transformed by its status as a national Parador. You could say that their state of conservation is very good. Visit as such is not done because it is currently used as a hotel and restaurant complex. You can be in the backyard, although your interest is not very big either. In this case the shirt or Antepuerta that precedes the castle is not a Barbican to be in contact with the main building, which is a very common mistake that is committed with this castle.

Great exterior, the room walls were a little thin.

Who wouldn't like to feel like the "Lord of the Castle" for one night? Stay in a real medieval castle with the quality and attention characteristic of paradores. Quiet and spacious stately rooms, excellent service and kitchen. Breakfast as a king and take advantage to visit Sigüenza and the surroundings. Do not forget to take a tour of the river Dulce Ravine.

An experience to remember. The rooms are well-kept and cosy, as are the kitchen. Although the breakfast is expensive, it's worth it even if it's just for a day. In the lower part there is huge room but very cozy. The employees make a small tour of the building and the wall, ask it when you arrive.

A beautiful castle restored by Paradores and converted into a 4-star Hotel.
I loved my stay at this Parador since the site is historic and beautiful. Of the paradores is one of my favourites for the beauty of the site.

Great place deserves a visit.

We were celebrating family. Good food, both in quality and quantity, we were all very satisfied. The staff were very friendly, which is to be appreciated. On the negative side, I find it unelegant that drinks are not included in the price of the menu.

The Parador is located in the highest area of Sigüenza, the easiest way to get there is to go to the Plaza Mayor and climb the main cathedral. The attention is good on the part of the employees. Good clean room and bathroom. Equipped with air conditioning/heating, mini-bar, television, books. The beds are comfortable, maybe the downside is that the pillows are somewhat low. Recommended.

Magical place and will always be in our hearts. Amazing and magnificent hotel to spend an unforgettable stay. The manager is a great professional, they behaved greatly in the favor I asked. They helped me make the request for my wedding. Everything was facilities and the dinner and the details were spectacular. Thank you so much.

Beautiful place and a lovely lounge to sit in for coffee. We weren't staying there but it was a treat to stop there for a drink.

An exceptional place in terms of the surroundings and the building itself. I have to say that I had all day with the craving for dinner a Castilian soup, in a place like Sigüenza. The fact is that we spent the night of Monday and in the village was all closed, so we have said, because we go to the Parador as in a restaurant like this, has to be good (big mistake! ) I am a professional cook and I assure you that it is not difficult to make a Castilian soup In conditions. Well I have to tell you that I have not taken a Castilian soup so bad ever in my life, had not used a broth, was water with a cold poached egg and totally scrap bread, and I will not tell you anything of the other dishes we take, some broken eggs that was basically a dry scrambled with chorizo chambuscado that knew nothing and a cauliflower guaranteed with ham that neither FU nor FA. In my opinion an absolute disaster and with those prices they have I do not know how they do not drop the face of shame, I would have liked to have some dessert but after the pleasant evening I have not dared. Honestly I think they should put on the kitchen seriously because I do not remember the last time I ate so bad.

Stay in a car the castle, great adventure with 3 kids! The staff is very friendly and attentive, the facilities are good, although they should devote time to maintenance: silicone-free bathrooms, a window with broken glass…
Breakfast very good although parador menu somewhat scarce and not to the height of the place.
The village is very nice to spend and live a medieval adventure.

This is an amazing Hotel within a castle. The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing. Besides that, the hotel offers various options to sit and relax. The internet is very good if you need it. The rooms are large and clean. One thing to mention is, the pillows are quite hard which can make the night a bit uncomfortable. But other than that, a great stay.

One of the precious of the chain. Weddings and other events are often held here, so it is not so contemplative.

From afar the castle that occupies the Parador presents a monumental view. Inside the hostel is very cozy. The attention to the public is very careful. By the way, in your visit do not forget to take a guided tour of the cathedral. Impressive.

As a castle it is very well kept and preserved.
You can go inside and visit it even if you are not staying. It has a restaurant and you can celebrate events such as weddings, communions, business lunches… I've only visited it and that's why the three stars.

In our case we just had a drink at the bar after a long day. The attention was very good and the service fast, it is also true that what we ordered were simple things, but we were also going many and there were quite people. The décor and the overall setting is beautiful, it's like returning several centuries ago, highly recommended to go in if only to see it.

We hired a superior room that I would recommend. Very spacious room with space for sofas it is given an extra space.
We were offered a room with a terrace and nice views.
We had breakfast at the Parador. Very varied buffet. You can park for free at the entrance of the Parador, there is plenty of room.

Cozy hotel in an old fortress. The breakfast buffet is very tasty and offers great variety.

Dreamy place.
24 years ago, I chose to spend my first wedding anniversary.
Today we are back and the Middle Ages continues through its ramparts, towers and corridors.
4 stars because what's wrong is the price, especially the food.
I think, however historical it may be, it is no reason to strike some impressive sablazos in that regard.
Otherwise, five stars.

The staff is very friendly, the building is superb (even though it is almost all rebuilt), the room is large, the bed comfortable, and the best… they have pillow menu!
The points to improve are that the shower water changed from hot to cold alone, that the Wi-Fi did not work in the room and that went the light a lot of times (at reception they said it was normal every time there was storm) … but it had its grace to have a glass of wine Dark in the castle bar:-)

I have to admit that we both went out very pleased with our stay at the Parador in Sigüenza. All of these positive aspects facilitated our stay.
+ attitude of the hotel staff before arrival at the hotel, reporting how we had to do if we wanted to have a double bed room as well as the good professional treatment on arrival.
+ The spectacularity of the castle, both seen from afar dominating Sigüenza as seen from nearby. Just spectacular… we slept in a piece of history!
+ The facility to get to the Parador, as there are indications throughout Sigüenza.
+ The medieval decoration of the hotel and especially its common areas, small rinconcitos distributed throughout the hotel and that help to make the stay more special. The chapel and the throne room are worth seeing.
+ The room is very cozy, with a decoration according to the style of this historical building… but be careful! Traditional or classic style furniture doesn't mean old, in our case everything was in I was shocked state.
+ To that we must add the cleanliness that we observe in the common areas as in the room.
— Just a negative aspect, the bath enclosure is too small, which makes it possible to get a lot of water when it comes to shower.

Located in the best place of Sigüenza, with privileged views. I ate at the restaurant and the tasting menu I tried was superb and for a very reasonable price. The treatment, as always in Paradores, unbeatable.

Very nice and charming. We went to the bar for a drink. In addition to a good price snack, a cane and a wine 5.50 Euros, the staff treatment is very good and the place is beautiful.

It is an impressive castle, very large the common areas and are beautifully decorated. The atmosphere is perfect but the rooms need a set up, Moderlizalas. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located in a gorgeous old castle. Worth visiting at least for a drink. The court yard of the castle, where the terrace of the bar is located, is a bit deserted, there is no view over the interior of the castle like in some other paradores (for ex, in Cuenca). But overall a fantastic idea for a restaurant /bar/hotel location.

Fantastic place with plunge into history. Large and cosy spaces. Great dinner and just as much breakfast.

An incredible experience. It's like a journey to the past felling like a knight sleeping in a castle but with all facilities of nowadays. Your kids will enjoy the visit as much as you. The city of Sigüenza is magic itself. So many centuries of history in such a beautiful city.

The room wasn't special… But the outside was very unique. We enjoyed staying at an actual castle. The town was also interesting. With it's narrow streets and large old town feeling doors and buildings. So as a family we enjoyed it. But we've had better in room experiences at normal hotels.

El Parador is beautiful. … either to drink a coffee or to sleep.

Great… recommended hostel by all… good rooms, good food, good service…

One of the best hostels to which have gone and the visit to the city of Sigüenza is a very pleasant experience. And you are one step away from Masrid.

The Parador is located in a castle of the real, at the top of the village, and has very good services, with a spectacular restaurant and some rooms according to the history of the Castle, as well as all the recite walled.
Rooms, normal, if good can be said that all the Paradores, or almost all, have three types of rooms, the standard, which are normal, say so, superior and suites, so each client, depending on your budget you can choose your level of comfort.
From Madrid, you may come and go in the day, without having to spend the night, as there is little more than 100 km. Away.
Leave on the outside of the Castle, in the open air.

We loved the Parador. Stunning rooms. The restaurant is perfect. The city is wonderful.

Beautiful restored medieval castle.

My only interest was to visit the Castle, I was like a hostel and not used its facilities. I liked the restoration of the patio and the whole of the fortification.

Castle remodelled and adapted to be a hostel, has a restaurant of good quality, although the price not both accompanies it. The site is cool, both the Titanic Castle which can be visited partly on the inside if you are not a guest, as the exterior views.

A marvel. Old Castle very well conditioned in Parador. Visit it and enjoy evening drinks in the old plaza de armas, is a delight. For the "friends of Paradores' offer a quick tour with a brief history of the Castle and some of its rooms you can see. The staff is great, they are very helpful. The correct restaurant, nothing from the other world (I expected more).
