I spent a couple of days off at El Capricho de Josana, and the choice couldn't be better. The rooms were very clean, the food is excellent (don't stop asking for a serving of cecina) and the managers are wonderful people, attentive and very, very friendly. It is all conditioned to spend a few days relaxing. It is also a place where you can go with the family.

The site is very good because it looks remote, but it is well connected to the A6. That allowed us to travel a little in the area (we did excursions to O Cebreiro and Las Médulas).

Nice food, most of the food We have been served It was good. Service was good, We have been waiting short time, but there was not a busy day, lovely place, some noise for motorway but hard to notice, very nice view, easy to relax. My expierience there was four stars**** Pilgrims have good rest in this town, way up to O Cebreiro is hard and long.

This casa rural has a special place in our hearts! My husband and I first stayed here in the summer of 2015. At the time, we had just met and we were both walking the Camino to Santiago. We feel in love with the place, the location, and the food. In the summer of 2018, we decided to go back to the Camino to Santiago and get married at El Capricho de Josana. All I can say is that we barely plan the wedding, until the day of it when we arrived at El Capricho. However, it was the most perfect wedding we could have ever imagined! We, along with our guests, were warmly welcomed, and everyone at El Capricho did everything to make sure our wedding was wonderful! We had a total of 34 guests at the wedding, and 25 of them staying at the rooms at El Capricho. The food, the decoration, the service, the rooms… everything was amazing! All our guests loved it also! My husband and I will be forever thankful to all the staff at El Capricho de Josana for making our wedding day perfect! We recommend this place 100%! Muchas gracias Avelino and his team!

We booked and sat on the terrace because they said they had it all full. We accepted although no one was in the dining room, only two tables on the terrace were part of ours.
The attention quite deplorable, but the food even worse. The burnt rice, almost inedible. The meat also burned. It was all on the plates.
Not recommended. Better not to try.

Max, the new owner since beginning 2018, is fantastic. He knows how to take care of his guests, and offers fabulous good. Try the hamburger!

Comfortable and simple room with good size bathroom, what we like is that despite the weather, you never pass cold. Very friendly and helpful staff. They have special rooms to come with Nascotas, which has a balcony where you can leave your friend if vaa somewhere where you can not take it. The place is a beauty, both the hotel and the views. They have very comfortable parking and terrace. The staff is extraordinary and the food all a surprise with a homemade mix and exquisite at the same time. They have menus of various prices with a onigualable quality. We will definitely repeat.

I stopped to eat, I ordered fish, it was hake, it looked veal, it lasts without flavor and nothing fresh, for dessert there was only yogurt or Lidl custard, the service and good attention, the nice place but the fatal meal.

Juan really cared for us during our visit. Rooms were great, dinner was great (cod/peppers 1st course). And service was impeccable. The rest of our group went to bed early and Juan made me very comfortable finishing my night in the dining room. Thx for everything.

Very nice, you breathe peace and tranquility. All impeccable. Restaurant a little pricey, but terrific.

A bad stop. Charging 6€ for a sandwich. Highest price on the menu is 4.50. Not allowing walking from the terrace to the bar directly. Need to go back on the street. This is the exception on the Camino. The owner does not like pilgrims.

Totally overpriced and rude.

Beautiful. Every detail and cared for with scrupulous attention. A real oasis of peace and well-being for those on the way. The price of the room is really competitive. The restaurant is Great too.

We didn't stay here, and only had a beer and a cup of tea, but the food looked great and the staff friendly and helpful. The couches by the lit fireplace were great.

Bad hotel service. Room was prepared for just one guest, but we were two. Instead of making it right, they rather argued who was to blame. So we ended up with towels for one person and one pillow, not to mention the small bed for two adults. Very disappointing after a long day’s walk.

They charged us 16, 60€ for two basic breakfast of coffee, cold toast and pot tomato. Truly shameful. I remember that they have cheated me neck as well. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth of our stay in Molinaseca. It is assumed that prices may vary slightly between a site and the of to the side, but no one likes to take her hair.

The site is super quiet.

A good site in a beautiful setting. However, I believe that we were not well-received my two friends and I, in our step of the Way of Santiago. It is true that he was on Thursday of Holy Week 2015, and had a lot of people eating in the restaurant, but we got the 15'30 h and had not made one of the two rooms that we had booked and we had to shower, the three of them, in the individual that if they had arranged. But by God,. There was no hot water, and when we said we were told it had jumped the fuse! When we wanted to go to eat, they told us to wait a bit as they had a lot of customers! And we what we were? We were Pilgrims, but customers at the end of the day. In the end, there is that imagine this poor reception to 3 pilgrims, after a period of 30 km you arrive tired, sore, sweaty until the pants in the heat reigning and look like you care with indifference to the point that it seems annoying. We are confident that had it not been easter, and they would have had less "customers" eating, we would have been served in a better way, but in a place so well prepared with a price reasonably in tune with the local, must have sufficient staff to meet "all" of their customers in a reasonable manner to the place that you represent. Moreover, both the rooms, as the food were good and the staff are as attentive and friendly, 5 stars for them. Do not give more stars for score, by the disinterested reception they gave us precisely, the owner, or in charge of this precious local.

Fantastic little spot in the foot hills along the Camino. Chef is a hidden gem.
