We were 5 days in August and I have to say that John is an excellent host and the house is at the height of the expectations that we had. Nothing is missing, complete in all details. We have spent 12 days in the house and we loved both the location and the decoration because it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We were 7 people for one week in this month of July and the house we loved, it was a very warm and wide; and had all the amenities. The house is very well located, we were able to visit places such as Santillana del Mar, Potes, San Vicente de la Barquera, Colombres, Gijon, Llanes, Covadonga… we Were very comfortable. The place was very quiet and the treatment of the owner, very nice, has been excellent. The environment is wonderful, we visited for the first time this area and the truth is that it has been a great success, we enjoyed it very much. The house is near the beach of La Franca, so that, when the time we allowed it, we were able to enjoy it (highly recommended for walking, is a beautiful beach). During that week we were able to enjoy the climate of the area, and to get away from the scorching heat that was in the center!, we appreciated it greatly. It has been a fantastic experience and we hope to repeat soon. I recommend it undoubtedly!

The cottage has lovely views of the mountains and is very close to the beaches, both of Asturias as of Cantabria. One of the most nearby is the Beach of la Franca, very nice and highly recommended to go with children. It is also in walking distance of Pots, Llanes and San Vicente de la Barquera. We were 3 days in a bridge and the house has met all of our expectations. It is functional, clean and very well prepared. The environment is very quiet. The treatment has been very pleasant. Thank you for everything! This year we have returned to spend a few days in the house of John. The house was well prepared and clean. We enjoyed a nice weekend of may. The house is located in an ideal setting to spend a few quiet days in the company of family and friends. We spent one week in July and we loved the house and the environment. Everything was pretty clean and the kitchen was fully equipped with all kinds of utensils in the drawers. The house is located in the centre of the village next to a plaza and the church. The views are beautiful and then you put in the A8 to go towards Oviedo or Santander. The village is very quiet and if you are going with young children can enjoy a small playground and field to play football. Fully recommended.
