Hotel La Bilbaina

I used to visit the bar at La Bilbaina Hotel in Vitoria-Gasteiz almost every day. On one occasion, I went and ordered a café con leche. However, a waitress, who I later found out was the manager and who was not usually there, served me the coffee with a lot of foam on the milk. I politely asked if she could remove the foam and give me a coffee with less foam. Instead of making a new coffee, she simply removed the foam with a spoon and added more milk, as if I had asked for a glass of milk. I prefer my coffee with more coffee than milk. Nevertheless, she just scooped out the foam and added more milk. I then told her that I had asked her to fix the coffee, which she could have easily replaced. Often, people who attend to customers or provide a service take for granted that whatever they do, no matter how poorly or unwillingly, the customer has to accept it as if the service provider is the one doing a favor. It's important to remember that it is the customer who is paying for the service, not the other way around.

I do not recommend anything… expensive and bad pintxos and if you say good-bye you get charged the round of the k you are in the bar … by a Pintxo tortilla… they wanted to entrust me 2'90 plus a 3'90 site. People come in asking to eat and they offer you the pintxos … k some or almost all are from the previous day … tucked into bread the tortillas with a little Serrano ham… by the bar I think k have passed more people k by the INEM… … All…

Quality food at a good price. And very good treatment on the part of the service.
