Bekale in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

How is Hotel Bekale located in relation to the beach, walking areas, and local restaurants?

The hotel is located in the very heart of the picturesque town of Ea, right next to a charming bridge and scenic nature hiking trails. The town beach and local marina are within walking distance, allowing guests to easily reach the coast in just a few minutes. Scenic viewpoints and walking paths are also in close proximity. The main inconvenience for guests is the dining situation in the evening. During the off-season or late hours, almost all local restaurants and bars close, making it quite difficult to find dinner in town.

Where can hotel guests park their car?

Direct vehicle access to the hotel entrance is difficult due to the layout of the town's narrow streets. The property does not have its own private parking, so guests use the municipal parking lot at the town entrance. The parking area is located approximately a five-minute walk from the building, at a distance of about 250 meters. Drivers are permitted to stop briefly at the town entrance to unload heavy luggage before heading to the parking lot. During quieter seasons, finding available parking spaces is hassle-free; however, during busier periods, guests recommend allowing extra time to find a spot.

How polite is the staff and how is the service organized at Hotel Bekale?

Guests consistently highlight the exceptionally warm and welcoming attitude of the owners and front desk staff. The team genuinely cares for guests, creating a homely, family-like atmosphere. Upon check-in, travelers are provided with detailed town maps marking key sights and routes. The staff demonstrates great flexibility in handling logistical requests and is always ready to accommodate needs. When guests' schedules do not align with the dining room hours, the staff is happy to prepare hearty takeaway breakfast packs.

What kind of breakfast is offered to guests?

The morning buffet receives exclusively positive reviews thanks to the high quality of ingredients and home-style care in preparation. The menu regularly features freshly prepared Spanish tortilla, traditional torrijas, cold cuts, fresh pastries, a variety of fruits, and dairy products. Breakfast is served buffet-style and offers excellent value for money. Upon request, food can be packed to go, allowing guests to enjoy breakfast right by the seashore. Guests emphasize that meals are prepared with love and delight with their daily variety.

How comfortable and clean are the rooms at Hotel Bekale, and is there an elevator in the building?

The rooms are distinguished by their immaculate cleanliness, spacious layout, and bright, neat decor in a pleasant color palette. Order is well-maintained throughout the rooms, and bathrooms are equipped with essential toiletries, including cotton pads and swabs. A major advantage for guests with heavy luggage or strollers is the presence of a passenger elevator, which is quite rare in buildings of this type. Among the relative drawbacks, guests note modest soundproofing, which can allow conversations from neighbors or sounds from a TV to be heard in the room. Additionally, some guests mention that the pillows could be more comfortable.
