Absolutely lovely kind and friendly staff, very welcoming hotel and very helpful we came last year for the first time and really enjoyed it so we came back! Will be back again next year. See you all soon and thanks for making our visit so amazing! X.

Been here twice and will return in the future. Lovely little hotel. Should not be called a hostel that gives completely the wrong impression of this little gem. Very friendly right opposite the beach and near to all the amenities.

Spent a week here end of July/start of August. Can't recommend the place highly enough. Excellent location for the resort right next to beach and very close to main bars/restaurants. Food was excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. We're only went elsewhere for lunch once. Staff are very friendly and always give service with a smile. Toni and his team work long hours but nothing seems too much for them when you ask for it. Would definitely return.

We have been here for the last 3 years & have already booked for next year! Love this place, rooms are clean, food is lovely, staff friendly & beach is just across the road, the ideal place for us.

Just spent a week here nand it was brilliant can't speak highly enough about staff especially Tony he is brilliant this is my second time here but I will be returning next year I really like the fact that it's not a huge hotel so everybody knows everybody by the time you leave.

Just spent a lovely week here with my friend and this is my 3rd and her 4th stay! As usual the hotel and staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful from the room attendants to reception and dining staff. Great value for money.
One small criticism given we are so much aware of the use of single use plastics, a water refill station for water bottles would be useful even if it was coin operated if the expense was an issue also the use of plastic straws… maybe they could be swapped for paper.?

Just spend 4 days here with my mum. It was perfect the staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble!

All staff are helpful and speak English which helps with request.

Stayed a week staff very friendly and efficient. Clean throughout and would not hesitate to stay here again.

English-Staff are nice. Food is okay but not very Spanish. The only Spanish food we had was paella and the rice was crunchy and the prawns smelled weird. The quiz had so many innuendos and innapropiate questions and answers that children were hearing those questions that led parents to cover their ears. The swimming pool was clean as always. I recommend going here but go for a week. I would come back here again.

The location is strategic but too bad that the service sins on some details that make the difference, to change the sheets and towels you have to ask, the quality" of the food and "very poor, and on the last day of the chek out the breakfast service was closed (7 hours) when and or usually at 7am breakfast was included for those leaving the room… in conclusion as they say as much as you spend you have! but it only takes 200 / 300 euros maybe to have a more satisfying service. The location, however, deserves it.

Great location. Get what you pay for food good staff friendly nice pool rooms kept clean. Good value for money.

Just came back from our week away what a great place. Spotless our room was only small but big enough for us. Staff are great very helpful and friendly, Sarah on reception very helpful. Great location not far from the beach also shop and pubs etc and some great walks. Was a little concerned as I'm vegan but plenty of food I could eat, vegetables, salad and different types of potatoes never felt hungry. Such a chilled place to stay we would definitely come back.

We have just returned home after an excellent stay at this Hostal… should really be Hotel.
Sara on reception is so nice, friendly and helpful.
Marisa, the secon floor Chambermaid is a delight and such a good hard worker.
Bar staff Antonio and Sonia were are excellent.
Location is perfect, rooms are spotless and would recommend anyone to stay here.

Lovely place great staff and happy hour from 9till 10 is brilliant.

I’ve been coming to the Mar y Huerta for over 12 years now. I usually come with a friend, but we’ve also been with my daughter, grandsons another friend and her teen age daughter. We’re always welcomed by the staff, the rooms are under going refurbishing and look great, clean, bright and fresh. This hotel is a small family business and is always being improved. They take care and are proud of what this hotel offers. It’s a great location for the beach, cafes, bars and shops, boat and road train trips. I am always happy with the value for money.

Very nice hotel staff really nice, very well located we will recommend this place to anyone, young or old.

Popular small hotel in Es Cana which is great value for money. Shops, bars and restaurants are on the doorstep and the beach is just a few steps away, so it's in an ideal location for all you would want in a holiday.

Overall quite a nice hotel rooms although basic are kept clean to a high standard, pool area is spacious, my on gripe is the menu every night for SIX nights the evening meal was chicken as the meat dish and breakfast one day you could have bacon the next was sausages, like a full English but over two days.

Lovely small hotel just a stone's throw from the beach, very friendly staff, spotlessly clean bedroom and shower room, very comfortable bed. The pool area is small but kept beautifully with enough sun loungers. The food is really tasty with a good choice both at breakfast and evening meal. We really like it!

Very clean, food is good but could be hotter, waited until 2 for our room not a nice experience after our flight was 6am.

We stayed for two weeks from 29 August. From the second we walked into reception we were met by the lovely Sara. The whole hotel was immaculate, the food was lovely and also included vegetarian options. The pool bar menu was very good and prices very reasonable and cooked by the lovely Antonio. Sonia and Antonio make an amazing team and constantly work hard but still find time to have a chat with holidaymakers. Thank you to Adam for being a great barman and the other young lady (sorry I forgot her name) who both work so hard but stay calm. All staff are an asset to the hotel and make a great team. Standard rooms are basic but very clean. For the price you pay the overall accommodation, food and location in my opinion is amazing. Thank younger a fantastic holiday we will see you again.

Excellent treatment and quality service.

Mar Y Huerta is pleasant, clean and very well run. The staff are extremely hard wirking and can't do enough for you. The rooms over the pool are quite and relaxing. Really pleased with our choice.

My daughter has celiacs disease and the staff have been fab accommodating her needs, the rooms are clean there is always something to eat and the pool is small but clean.

Had a lovely week,,,,, I was a bit dubious because it's rated a 2star,,, but we were pleasantly surprised we had a lovely superior room the hotel is immaculately clean,,, the pool area is really nice and lunchtime serve good food, the hotels staff are really friendly and can't do enough for you,,,, we will return.

Nice hotel, well kept but basic. Staff are very friendly. Food selection is very small bit very well cooked. Bar and pool are very nice. Pretty good for a small and old hotel. I would definitely stay again.

Excellent small and extremely friendly hotel — about as central as you can get with an outstanding service and great value for money! Definitely recommend you give it a try. MUCH better than the large all inclusive hotels nearby…

My mother, two children and I got back from a five night stay at mar Y huerta yesterday afternoon. How this hotel is rated only a two star I will never know! Nothing was too much trouble Antonio even went out of his way to cook chips for me when kitchen wasn't yet opened. The whole place is spotless and beds very comfy. I've stayed in 4 star apartments that are no were near as nice as this one. I could go on an on. I would definitely recommend this. And will be back next year for sure.

Great distance from the sea, clean and with pool, but quite noisy.

Stayed here last week, half board, food fantastic and lovely staff. Would stay again next time we go ibiza!

This place is fantastic have stayed there for a few years now and cant wait 2 go back owners and staff magic have been going 2 escana for 20 odd years this the best place 2 stay for me.

Stayed here in 1978. First family holiday abroad. Really loved this place. Was more hippyfied back then not sold out to 120bpm crew. Holidaymakers from the UK loved to moan about things like how hot it was & foreign food as if the owners were punishing them that used to make me smile even though I was only 13. Fell in the pool after getting ready to go out. Lol. Got drunk for the 1st time on the donkey ride & sangria does not look good on a whitewashed veranda or down the side of a coach but what a GREAT HOLIDAY. Thanks.

Completely destined to the public guiri. The breakfasts are based on beans, fried eggs, sausage, bacon, sweet etc just had cake and toast spreadable jam.
In the rooms do not put or SOAP for hands, if you want to suppress heat can ask them a fan, that Yes, upon payment of € 3. Our room in particular had a very unpleasant main odor.
As a positive side, staff is nice.
