Hotel Eutimio

Hotel Eutimio in Lastres is a beautifull hill side family hotel with spectacular views of the ocean. Our room had a large terrace overlooking the ocean with a comfortable large bed with soft sheets. Ana, the receptionist, was super helpful and told us all about the hotel, its origins and memorabilia, like a brick made by hand that sits exposed as a reminder. We’ll definitely be back when in Lastres. Thank you!

We spent a couple of nights here on our way back to Santander. Our room (number 101) was very comfortable with a large terrace/balcony overlooking the harbour and the bay. The view of the sunrise on our second morning was magnificent. The charming village is built on a steep cliff face and is well worth exploring.
We ate in the dining room on one night, an excellent meal and very good value. The menu provided a good choice and included several fish options which were fresh on the day.
The staff had limited English but were all very helpful.
It was just over 1 1/2 hours easy driving to the ferry port at Santander so Casa Eutimio is an excellent stopover.

One of the best hotels and restaurants in the whole region. If you want something really traditional don't look anywhere else. Real food from Asturias in this family owned and managed place. The owners are the sweetest and most helpful people. Definitely worth a visit.

We loved this so much, we ate there two nights in a row. Our host/server was amazing…friendly, helpful, patient with our lack of Spanish, and somehow everywhere at once…he really made this a lovely experience. The food was also perfect. The best croquettes we have had anywhere. The cachopo was as good as advertised and worthy of the awards. The Cecina de Cebon was another highlight. So many great dishes here.

For Mary in charge of the kitchen a guisandera of the hand of the queen Viri Fernandez, we had a visit requires. The brother already gave us an excellent impression, enamorándonos not only with the best of the smiles of all the north of spain (it must be family, because both the poséen), if not with the effectiveness of the management and providing the best solution to the 3 drawbacks that we pass on to you. The site already oozes quality, the decoration is endowed with taste, practice and money. The person who greeted us at the table knew us inside out with affection, sympathy and discretion, in addition to recommended us to the contrary, we were willing to ruin there, and he refused to participate in such suicide. We recommended that in addition to very well in content of letter, to ask for less of what our obsession was determined. We started with jerky reociada with a fruity pesto that alleviated very effectively with a anecdotal of excess salt in the meat. We continue with croquettes of ham and chorizo, the latter, if there were a global contest of kibble, they would win the award for the best in the world, as the stew of Viri won the won. My god that croquettes by God!. We continue with a disrespectful San Luis that you made the shadow very proud of the best fish in the world cooked in any 4 Michelin stars.

Fabulous is the only description I can think of. Beautiful old building with such beautiful rooms and balconies overlooking the harbour and Bay of Biscay. I had a small suite and the bathroom was so beautiful! The staff (family) were all so pleasant and welcoming. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during my stay but the included breakfast was great! Do yourself a favour and stay here if you're ever in the area.
