Very cozy place located in a castle. Very attentive staff restaurant well cooked food is not cheap. We liked it that Alcañiz has nothing more important to see.

A spectacular building. The enclave is unbeatable. Spacious and comfortable rooms.
From the room the views are breathtaking. Very friendly staff.

Room 305 (Superior grade) was fantastic, with a four-poster bed and multiple windows offering dual-aspect far-reaching views over the countryside and town below. The bar/café and courtyard were great to relax in, but I was hoping for better from the breakfast options. Shame there was virtually no Wi-Fi, except for a poor signal close to reception.

We stop for a while to have a coffee and enjoy the views. It's worth going up here. The deal in the cafeteria very good, as you would expect. Quiet environment and typical details in paradores.

I sat on the terrace for 20 minutes and would not be served, then I left.

Pilgrimage point obliged on a visit to Alcañiz. Very manicured gardens and everything rehabilitated a few years ago. The Cafeteríaconservas original paintings of the castle. Previous elevated as is to be expected in paradores of this type. In the parking lot is easy to find luxury sports due to the proximity to the circuit of Motorland.

An interesting location which you have to drive along a narrow, winding road to get to. Our room had a good view over the town. Tours of the castle are run daily, for a few euros and these are in Spanish and run by an outside agency. The only disappointment in the room was the shower which was not terribly powerful and needed a long time to warm up. We discovered the black out curtains on our second night, useful because of the spotlights. Staff were friendly, food was fairly typical Parador fare.

The building of the Parador is worth a trip on its own. The hotel industry meets the high expectations. Gastronomically, you don't have to be here.

I love this Parador. It is well located, near to the historical centre of the town. It is comfortable, has great staff, really good food and restaurants, great lounges, an excellent bar. To top it all, a superb historical tour, of the parts not usually open to the public, which is very interesting. I have stayed twice. I will return.

National Parador of first level. Beautiful Castle finished in the 17th century. The restaurant is awesome.

When they arrived they were waiting for us. We were greeted with kindness, a lot of warmth and professionalism. The Parador is beautiful, and the room is correct with everything you need. Recommended.

Great location, like all Paradors. Nothing to say about service at the hotel. Uncomfortable bed, room needs deep cleaning, but lots to see in the old town!

Lovely stay. The attendants are all very nice, the food was good, and walking around the castle in the morning really rounds out a pleasant nights stay.

The parador is a pretty vastante hotel to visit and quality price is OK.

If you want to have a site for superbikes. Better many months in advance. The site is beautiful. It is worth spending a night there.

We decided to celebrate our wedding in Alcañiz, with a small group of friends. We wanted to go to eat at a special site, which not only offer a good card, but also has good views.
We chose the parador de Alcañiz because the view from the castle on a clear day are spectacular, and the building and the rooms are very nice. We hoped to enjoy the Aragon cuisine in the restaurant, known to House care puts the cuisine offered.
The reception staff offered us different options menu for groups, including the special Christmas menu, which included six types of first, second and desserts, to choose two of them. Also included wine (a Rioja reserva 2004), a glass of champagne and Christmas sweets.
We chose hot and cold appetizers to start, with a variety of ingredients, second the sirloin with Roquefort sauce and vegetables and lamb, and baked dessert the pyramid of chocolate with orange sauce.
Each and every one of the dishes turned out to be a perfect marriage of tradition and innovation, not to mention the balance of flavors, especially highlights the Lamb roast, seasoned with Rosemary.
The staff was always attentive and Nice, and because it was Friday, and in November, we got almost salon for ourselves.
In the cafeteria located on the lower floor you can enjoy the coffee in a room of stone with nice chairs and good background music.
