Abba Huesca

An overall solid option for lodging in an underdeveloped city. It's on the outskirts of the city center, so it's easier to get to than some other hotels in the area. But it's still within walking distance (15 minutes or so) to most of what would be considered the main attractions in Huesca. There's ample covered parking in an attached garage, though at a cost of 15 euros a day. The staff are fine. They have a restaurant and offer room service, which was helpful for me because a stomach ailment made it hard for me to go out. The food, however, is not very appetizing. They served me a "ceasar salad" without cheese and with raw bacon. The tomato soup was served cold and is best avoided altogether. The pasta was edible. You have to ask for bread or they won't serve it with your meal. Safe area and quiet hotel.

Enjoyable weekend with friends.
Only comment — not complaining — is due to bus parties you should have more than 2 staff at breakfast time. Poor people were rushed trying to tidy off tables and fill food and drink for us other guests.

We selected this hotel as a stop on our trip down from the UK to Murcia in Southern Spain and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The room was comfortable, well appointed and spotless, the food excellent, the service from the friendly and helpful staff was exceptional and all this bundled into brilliant value for money. Highly recommended and will be looking out for Abba hotels in future.

Excellent stay, good size easy parking, friendly check in to our beautiful clean room. Great bar that seems popular with the locals. Food was served there in the evening, I had the chicken and mash which was perfect. We only had a 1 night stay on our way to the coast but will definitely return. Good nice and easy casual breakfast with hot and cold choices. I cannot fault this hotel. Well done to all the staff.

Really enjoyed staying here again. Rooms are very comfortable but I couldn’t figure out the air conditioning. One receptionist told us if the best restaurant we’d been to in Huesca which is a 3-min walk from the hotel. It’s a little away from the center of town which might explain why we slept so well there.

30€ extra for dog, 15€ for parking. It’s a little to much I think. To be a 4star hotel, it was a little to “shabby” room, especially the bathroom. But the breakfast buffet was amazing, for those who can eat gluten. But my friend who has celiac disease, got fresh cooked when talking with the cook and that was very professional and good service.

Abba Hotel Huesca Spain is a safe, clean, quiet and accommodating Hotel with an excellent buffet breakfast. Very close to the train/railway station and the downtown center.

A great hotel with ample parking 15 euros a day extra. Very close to the centre of Huesca but quiet enough. Resturant has limited opening times but a small and busy bar attached serves food after 8.00pm. Room service is also available. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Rooms big and very clean. Service was very good.

We were sorry that we only stayed one night. Everything met the expectations of a hotel of this level (which is unfortunately not always the case elsewhere). Underground parking at Nice pool (confused about whether it was still open in early September) and adjoining restaurant terrace where we had an excellent lunch. Evening meal in the bar also good: obviously very popular with locals. Considering how busy it was, surprising that the restaurant is only open at lunchtimes (when most hotel guests will not be around).

Loved this place, ideal situation for us, not far from train station and minutes from the cathedral where our daughter was playing in an orchestra.

Great value for a modern city centre hotel. Large rooms, superb shower room, comfortable beds.

Clean modern hotel within a few minutes walk of the town centre. You can access hotel directly from underground car park. Good choice of breakfast options. Hotel has a gym. Hotel has an outside swimming pool which was not yet open during our stay. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff.

Amazing hotel, Excellent staff & a perfect atmosphere. Laura the lady at the reception was very helpful in helping me & pointing me in the right direction as I do not speak Spanish. Her English was perfect & she really made me feel like I was back home in London!
& to top it off this place has a pool & the Barcelona team was staying at the hotel at the same time! 5 Stars all round! WOW.

I just spent 3 nights in this hotel. Rooms are big and comfortable. Peaceful. Strong Wi-Fi. Comfortable king size bed. Close to the train station. Friendly staff. No complaints.

Functional, comfortable and modern, rather than charming and luxurious, the Abba is a well organized hotel.
The city centre is close-by on foot. And it is no problem to get to the hotel by car, with an easy car park.
The Junior Suite is spacious, cleverly laid-out and well equipped. However, a bit tattered and lacking some lighter curtains given the closeness of the buildings opposite the room windows. Some other little weaknesses, but none a real problem: noise insulation from other rooms is suboptimal, seen cleaner, and could do without the muzak broadcast up to the room floors until 23h30.
Breakfast is OK.
Excellent value.
Despite some drawbacks, Abba is a positive experience and works well for a one night stopover, and would do it again here.

Tonight I had dinner at the hotel and I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED by the service. The food was good, but the whole experience turned bad because of the very very bad service. It is not hard to see that the staff is really bad managed. It took forever for the waiter to come take our order, even longer time to bring what we ordered to our table, and in general the waiters were just not paying attention to the clients at all.
My mother and me ordered the daily menu. When they brought us the second plates they took away the dirty plates from before as well as the cutlery and told us they will bring new one to us. So they brought us the food but left us with no cutlery. They completely forgot about it, and as well all 3 waiters disappeared. After 15 minutes. I went to the bar to ask for cutlery and the waiters were not even looking at me. Please take into considerations that the food got obviously cold. Afterwards, when we got served the dessert the old waiter with glasses literally threw the spoons on the table as if we were animals.
I was literally shocked about the bad service. I have never experienced something similar ever. Both me and my mother are very nice and educated people and we could not understand why the service was so bad. As well the place was not even full at his full capacity. There is no excuse or explanation to any of this. I’m never eating here ever again.

Cleanliness, absolutely friendly staff. Good breakfast and a nice bar with terrace.
