Spanish hotel, which has its advantages and disadvantages.
We stayed in room 1250: and found a super clean room with comfy beds, a very good air conditioning and spacious and unscrupulous bathroom.
Minor defects were repaired promptly and immediately. This was a defective bulb and from the balcony door the disc was completely loose in the frame.
Well I found the spacious closet, not so good, the very bottom and far back in the closet mounted safe. On the outside façade of the room on the balcony there was a black mould on the wall.
Which was not at all.
The noise from the hallway! From 6 o'clock in the morning or even earlier the room doors of the neighbors popped or there were trolleys pulled over the hallway, which really sounded like a helicopter flying over the hotel. Then one was awake and could no longer really fall asleep, because the departure traffic was heard again and again.
In addition, in the gym hidden behind a bamboo mat the wall is extremely moldy. I would recommend to anyone "not" to train!
So we would be at the reception: Here I was somewhat disappointed by the staff. With the exception of Manoli, which could be tiled German, none of the receptionists really ruled German and I was checked out three times during the key delivery for day trips…
English was relatively good. So a compliment to Manoli which has always answered all my questions well and super friendly with liquid German.
Food: The food is rich, varied and very varied! There was a delicious and huge buffet.
Unfortunately, there was always only a bit of variation so there was always the same food. Ala Pizza with mushrooms (Day 1) & Pizza with Ham (Day 2).
But it was really always delicious.
But what bothered me was the distanced friendliness and rather stressed operation. The people were so forced to be nice. If you were served by a colleague in the morning, he ignored the guests outside the hotel in the afternoon, although we greeted you as a friendly guest.
For me absolutely unacceptable.
Pool & Entertainment: The pools are super nice. Neatly maintained and there are plenty of lounge chairs. The animation is always exciting with a large and varied programme. The animators were all quite good in English and fluent in Spanish. A little German could only Silke, who was really happy to help.
Close to the beach: The beach is about 400 meters through a pine forest to reach. With a small boat ferry you can translate to the peninsula opposite El Rompido. You will find a clean, well-kept and white sandy beach, which is kilometre long.
My conclusion: This hotel has a mold problem. Then there are some massive problems with the communication because the knowledge of foreign languages is partly absent from the staff.
Nevertheless an idyllic hotel in the midst of a pine forest. If you are looking for peace, you will have success.
For me so 3 which are due to various flaws are still quite tidy.
