Great location for exploring the city and easy to get to the St Nicholas viewing point and to visit the Alhambra. All the staff were very helpful especially with tips on where to go and what to see. The coffee shop is an absolute must. Five stars all round.

Very reasonable price for hotel breakfast buffet. Lot of selection, fresh food and fruit. Enjoy the curred meat and cheese. Did make myself a tomato olive oil toast.
Capuchino coffee very tasty and personalized. Great place for breakfast.

Fab location and contemporary design.

Fabulous place to stay in Granada, I would highly recommend it. My sister and I stayed in the suites which were really spacious, quiet and fantastic value. We had the buffet breakfast at the hotel which was really varied, healthy and the staff were very friendly. Lovely!

Very nice hotel in the former mansion with a cozy courtyard. Different rooms over 3 floors. Only accessible by taxi or on foot. Next parking: San Agustin in the market hall of the same name. Hotel very nicely located in Albaycin. Below the Alhambra. All easily accessible. Nice welcome and very friendly staff. Breakfast in the neighboring cafe bar with good offer and great cafe selection. Recommendation!

In the month of May I spent four beautiful days in a dream place, everything was special, the superior room, the kindness of the wine (riquisimo) the attention of the reception girls in particular, Belen, the best atencion of Adrian in the bar, with everything necessary for the me jor breakfast of my life, great would definitely return to that wonderful place.

Excellent service and attention. With free buffet option of 8-12. Perfect to start one morning by the Albaicin.

A thououghly delightful smallish hotel, in a sensitively modernised ancient mansion. Very luxurious rooms spotlessly clean. Great staff & located right below the Alhambra walls. Who could want more? We will be back.

Just a glitch, cold in living room and bathroom (it's by grid) and street noise. (Better to take one inside). Good value for money Recommended!

Minimalist but vintage furnishings, large rooms, en suite, lots of pretty wood throughout and a quiet covered courtyard-lounge. Great location and, depending on the room, great views. No breakfast or bar but internal door to neighbouring café which serves a continental breakfast with lots of meats, smoked salmon, breads, cheeses, cereals, etc as well as incredible coffee @ €9.50 at time of posting. Worth a stay.

Unbeatable environment and after your access door what we found is amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The whole hotel from the access is very cozy.

Our stay at shine has been quite comfortable. We strayed in 302 on the uppermost floor. There are enormous windows looking up the hillside to Alhambra. The staff have been super friendly and helpful. And while not included the breakfast at the adjoining cafe was one of the high points of our trip. The only reason I'm not giving this place Five stars are for the obvious trade-offs with the location: being in the center there is no parking available, so you will have to take a taxi or drag your suitcase through the narrow cobblestone streets (in the oppressive heat). Once settled in though, most everything is within a 15 minute walk away.

Ruined my anniversary (17 years)! First of all, as a guy we are always looked to as being forgetful beasts when it comes to anniversaries. Well this year o had planned a weekend in Granada for mine and Shine Albayzin managed to ruin it, thanks. We arrived cold and tired from touring the city and Alhambra. Many drinks and tapas, it looked like I would get a STAR for planning a great anniversary, NOT! We proceeded to check in, ID, credit card for incidentals, spouses ID? What? Are you serious? I'm checking into a reserved room with all my credentials. I spend over a 100 nights a year in hotels around the world, never been asked for additional guests ID… Needless to say, no problem solving skills from this group. Could have emailed a copy of photo ID the next day, could have had my son fax the next morning, no solution found by staff. We were showed the door! What a first class outfit. As we had been drinking at dinner we slept in our car in a fun filled parking garage! You SUCK Shine Albayzin! No stars for you and your inept staff!

This hotel was the highlight of our 2-week tour of Spain — and its absolutely gorgeous! Upon an early arrival, we were upgraded to a suite and they gratuitously took our bags and helped us plan our morning while our room was prepared — one of the most breathtaking rooms I've ever seen.

The room space is big and comfortable, the reception lady is enthusiastic has the hat, the value is worth, the Samsung grade Five star enjoyment, strongly recommends, the only shortcoming lamp is too dim.

Beautiful, tranquil, excellent service. A perfect oasis in a perfect location. Breakfast isn't included but they have a great cafeteria (casa Duran) with the best coffee, plus an excellent selection of goodies to accompany your brew.

Spectacular place and spectacular suite on the 3rd floor. Lie back and watch the Alhambra illuminated and wake up listening to the birds and artists of the amazing area. We will repeat the next time we visit Granada. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The spectacular hotel, situated in a beautiful location at the foot of the Alhambra. Nothing more to enter, he welcomes you with a lovely courtyard and a receptionist without equal and makes you feel at home with a sweet smile. The great night, the room very nice and clean. The breakfast is great, with a coffee, creative and delicious. It is worth knowing and, of course, I will repeat.

Great location, just below and across the river from the Alhambra. Our room had a small balcony looking out to the the river beloiw, and Alhambra above. Great location to walk to everything. Room was clean and modern, in I'm sure a very old building.
