Spent an evening for our anniversary dinner. Very attentive staff and very professional! Food was great and good price range too! Beautiful surroundings and decor inside as well as the outside garden outside the bar area. We can only recommend.

A true paradise!. Best thing about the hotel is without hesitation their gastronomic quality, as much for its breakfast as its options for dinner. The breakfast is absolutely of 10. And we had dinner in the Restaurant Tahini and it was a dinner superb. The second-best thing of the hotel for me is the service, all their staff is incredible. Also exceptional, the location of the hotel right on the seafront. We will repeat because we are left with wanting more.

Great location and the hotel itself is very stylish, only shame was that the pool wasn't heated.

Last night at this lovely hotel, with its great location for restaurants, and some great restaurants of its own, the Gran Meliá Don Pepe is a great foodie choice. We stayed in a Red Area room, with access to the Red Area lounge, which is fab! Staff are lovely, pool is great, and for a stay to just relax you couldn’t choose better!

Very disappointed in our stay here, it was so disappointing we chose to leave early yet the hotel would not refund any of our money.
The main reason for departure was that three items were taken from our room by cleaning staff and not returned. One of these items included our daughters teddy bear that she had from birth… this lead to many sleepless nights and a crying child during the day. Staff were less than helpful and we had to keep asking them for information on the missing items for 4 days. They never approached us with any information. All in all very disappointing stay. When we were departing they did say they would compensate us and the reservations department told us to get out booking agent to contact them about refund, however this was all just keeping us happy face to face and they have now refused our refund. Very very disappointing needless to say we won’t be back.

An ideal stay with excellent service. One of the best Japanese restaurants in Spain — Tahini is in Gran Meliá Don Pepe. You have my recommendations for 5 stars.

Great location, great hotel, great staff! We had a room on the Red Level, so had a good view from our hotel balcony. We made use of the Red Level lounge which had a good selection of complimentary snacks and drinks.

Been in both the penthouse and regular room. The penthouse view and stay is about as solid as it gets. The hotel has fabulous restaurants and amenities, with a path right down to the Mediterranean. The view of Africa can be seen, along with the straits of Gibraltar. You will not find better service anywhere. This a fact.

It was a fantastic experience. The beach is awesome and the location couldn't be better. The food was good and there is a nice cocktails bar.

Grand Melia Don Pepe is always a very pleasurable experience. Ambiance, staff etc. Top class. We love it … every year!

Amazing experience. The hotel is very luxurious and comfortable. Room with sea view in front and very spacious and modern. Breakfast very very full and overlooking the wonderful park.
I loved the offer of where you can enjoy reading and views from a comfortable first floor with snacks at all hours. The pool space amazing. And with exit to the Rambla of Marbella and the beach. Good value for money.

Friendly hotel, 30 mins walk from Marbella old town. Returning a year later, the hotel is as fab as always! They've started re-vamping the bathrooms which have really bought the rooms up to date. Beautiful pool area and brilliant staff.

Nice stay in Gran Melia last week. The location is the best, garden and pool area is superb. Service is first class. But after paying 450 EUR/day for a small room, we are told that we are not good enough for some parts of the hotel, some sunbeds we are not allowd to use. Our 450 EUR/day is too little to have a coffee machine on the room. We felt like 2. Class visitors, and probl will not come back.

All divine. The only one but it is the noise of the pipes, which woke me up with the first shower in the morning. The second night probe to close the door of the bathroom and still woke me and concentrated a light stench to pipes. The rest Espectalucar.

Recently, I have stayed in this hotel. Sadly, my cell phone was stolen at this hotel while I was out of my room. I spoke to reception staff to investigate and they did nothing! Apparently, there is no care put for customers’ security and any issues that may be created by their housekeeping staff. I advise everyone to avoid this hotel.

Room was nice, food great but restraints very busy. Only issue is that it took 3 phonecalls and a trip to reception to get the Aircon fixed.

Located in the Hotel Gran Meliá Don Pepe, or a but. His warmth, good ambient music, sometimes live, give as a exceptional air. Dishes with a touch of excellence, for its taste, presentation, and for good measure, make you leave satiated and satisfied. The desserts surprised by the originality and flavors. If there were six stars you would give.

My family and I decided to spend Christmas this year in the coast. We were looking for a sunny place and well located, which made us decidieramos by the Don Pepe. The facilities and the great buffet was a pleasant surprise, although if I had to highlight anything, it would be the service from the staff. From the maids to the waiters at the Whisky Lounge. We had luck and the weather accompanied our stay. Our room belonged to the Network Level, an exclusive service with its own Lounge. Many thanks to all the girls of the level, nice and pleasant where you have. We hope to return as soon as possible!

Stayed at the Moët pent house for 5 nights with my hubby and it was total paradise the staff treated us like royalty the views are to die for the food was great it was so peaceful a gem in Marbs.

SIMPLY THE BENCHMARK!
We are traveling quite a lot, both for business and work, but never ever around the globe have found a Hotel, which was able to beat the Gran Melia Don Pepe regarding service quality and friendliness of personal. It's like home … but much better.
You cannot imagine how warm and forward looking the Don Pepe personal is — no, you can't! To all their guest! We were travelling with our one year old baby and she was just treated like a prices. Roommates, waiters, poolpersonal and obviously the charming Red Ladies made us feel like in paradise. Thanks to all of them, especially (in alphabetical order ;-) ) Gema, Irene, Monica, Rafa, Raúl and Veronica … and not to be forgotten Abel!
… Yes, of course the hotel is a oasis within Marbella located directly at promenade and beach. The seaview and the poolarea are brilliant and Marbellas old town only a nice walk of 15 minutes away … the breakfast is superb! No question 5 stars without doubt well deserved … but the real stars here are the people — they have set our global benchmark! Thank you so much! We will come back again!

Great Japanese Restaurant: Tahini Sea view, fancy dishes, top sushi and sashimi worth a visit.

Stayed there for my 70th Birthday breakfast on Sunday could have serve red most of Africa never So such a huge selection of breakfast foods, completely overwhelmed! Great if you had 2 hours to speed and were extremely hungry!

Don't let the price tag fool you — this is not a 5 star hotel. Their "airport service" never showed up so we had to order a cab ourselves. Once your at this place you will immediately realize the customer service has a "do-it-yourself" theme. Want a towel for the pool? Go find the guy. Want a drink by the beach? Ask for the menu and they'll never come back… Rooms are musty and outdated — overall has a pre-1999 vibe. Message to management: WAKE UP! By the way, the pool area is infested with flys which will make your experience all the more enjoyable.

I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. It was absolutely top class. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff are always friendly and professional. We will definitely be coming back. Can't wait.

The staff at this beautiful hotel are it's crowning jewel, they couldn't be more helpful and friendly. It was a bit chilly to try out the outdoor pools, but the grounds are lovely, the beds comfortable and the baths big enough for even the tallest guest. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars here is that I wasn't keen on some of the food, but I was there with a large party for work and there wasn't an opportunity to choose from the full menu. I would definitely go back.

Hotel 5***** very well located, excellent service and facilities. One of the 5***** should be dedicated to the enlightenment of the restaurant Tbone. This way it would not be necessary to have that dinner with the flashlight of your mobile and give response to the complaints and requests made by the employees and managers of the restaurant to the address of the hotel. The pool is saline and we spent a lot of time hanging out and swimming. The saline is easy on your eyes. If you have kids and delicate sensibilities be aware that if you go down to the beach you're bound to see nudity. Also, make sure that if you eat at a restaurant along the beach and they bring you bread, it's not free like it is here in the states. We would view that as part of the meal. They put it in front of you and if you eat it then they add it to the bill. My brother-in-law, who lived in Spain for a couple years, said that if you don't eat it they serve it to the next customer. Fair warning. Also, if you get to a supermarket you have to try a Bollycao. It's like a hotdog bun filled with Nutella. Sort of the Spanish equivalent of a Twinkie. Just eat one. That'll be enough.
