A beautiful building in a beautiful location, this is an attractive, traditional guest house built around a lovely outdoor courtyard, with spacious and comfortable rooms, and it is only a few minutes walk from the best beach in Malaga (in my opinion! ) The only downside is the slightly limited kitchen facilities. However, I've just returned from my 3rd stay at Nogal and wouldn't hesitate to go back again! There are several supermarkets and cafes nearby, not to mention lots of restaurants around the corner on the beach, and several buses stop right opposite which take you straight into the city centre in 15 minutes, and also, in the other direction, to towns further along the coast.

Negative:
— In the photos they put in the rooms, there is no photo from Room 4 that was ours (and you can see the difference from the others)
— The hotel reception only operates from 8 to 16h, if before or after that time you have any problem you have to go or call a hotel they have on the same avenue but from 22h there there is no one. That constant lack of staff is a very big inconvenience as a problem can arise at any time.
"We had the air conditioning knob ruined (when we entered the room it was already a little weird) and we had to be 3 days getting into a chair to be able to use the air conditioner since the owner neither showed up by the hostel to take over nor could they give us another solution.
" The room had a lot of moisture and a plague of flies as a result. Plus I only had a mini window facing a tiny courtyard.
"We had to ask for the trash and the towels to be changed despite being on the floor for two days.
— The Jacuzzi they presume they have is behind a fence which is only open until 4 p. M.
"They say they have bottles of water and the bottle vending machine had a sold out since we entered the first day.
Positive:
— The hostel staff (the time they are there) are very nice and willing to help in everything.
— The proximity to the beach (it takes only 2min) is the best thing about the hostel.

The Walnut Tree is a great place to stay, very clean, quiet, close to public transportation, and the staff, lovely. Hope Summer.

A cozy and very quiet place just a few meters from the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It has a fridge, a microwave and some common tableware for guests as well as a lovely inner courtyard ideal for sitting for a while to enjoy the outdoors. The rooms are clean and well-conditioned and the area generally has good communication although it can be a little difficult to find parking.

Good value for money. Family home flair.

The staff were friendly and helpful. It is something old in general, decoration and rest. But you're comfortable. The ideal setting, you have the beach with bars across the street. Shops, tobacconists, pharmacy nearby. I will return, I liked the location, but the more than my bug is next to me.

Thin walls or bad insulation, you hear the movement of the adjoining room.

Good service near the beach.

It has a nice rural setting, cost us 52 bigs a night and gave über s a cosy room, but Wi-Fi on first floor very bad and the beds are queeking on any movement like sheeps. So if a couple checks in, because of the queeking bed it will be hard to leave as a couple. Everythg else was great.

Not bad for what it is, a hostel. The room was clean and the breakfast was very nice. The reception was very good. Very close to fishing district and its beach bars. In the same building there is a breakfast site which is fine.

Quiet Hotel. Clean, every day, cleaning rooms. But the mattress is hard enough.
Surprise: When you arrive after 10pm, there is no one to open the door of the hotel and no key right away.
So there is a poster with your name stuck on the door of the hotel and the information that is on it is in Spanish. You must call a number and fetch the key to your room in the hotel's annex located at 300 meters. If you have to drag your luggage until then it's boring.

Large price, small room, small shower, without wardrobe, view to a wall…

Convenient location: Beach a few minutes walk and bus stop that takes you to the centre of Malaga (c. Ca 15min by bus). The beach behind is a gem with a pedestrian walkway and full of sea-side bars open from breakfast to late at night.
Supermarket within walking distance, pharmacy, tobacconist, bike rental and bar! Only drawback of the accommodation: a washing machine is missing but above all a space to spread out.

The location of the hotel is really nice: near the beach and with a lot of restaurants around. The girl at reception was also kind helping us with our questions and solving our problems.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very good, the location was great and the place was nice, the whole thing was very close to the other.
I'll be back safe.
