Beautifully restored building in a stunning place. What a great job the owners have done to turn it into a characterful hotel with a fabulous moroccan tea room and lovely moroccan eateries.

It is a very nice hotel, in a privileged place, with fantastic views and very friendly staff. It has a tea house on one of the hotel's terraces, one of the most pleasant places in the hotel. The restaurant is set in a beautiful Andalusian-style courtyard. The hotel itself is a very nice and nice Arabic style building. It has parking, but is not connected to the hotel, although it is close. Luggage can be tricked down the narrow corridors and stairs and there are no elevators. The breakfast buffet is very good, quite complete, although if you like the continental breakfast, you will see to miss the grilled egg and bacon, although there is a boiled egg. It is a hassle to prepare an orange juice and the coffee is very, very good, in fact, the machine grinds the coffee at the moment, although this makes you have to wait a little to serve the coffee. Overall, my feeling of the place is very good and I recommend it, because the village is also very nice (although uncomfortable to drive, as there are many narrow streets).

Good attention on the first day. The second day we were not given a table, probably because we were going "beach dresses" or that feeling we had left. Good food, respected recipes and good atmosphere in this special place. Baklavas and rich desserts.

Every time I go it's a dream fulfilled! Beautiful rooms, unbeatable treatment and breakfast is the most! Superior quality and reasonably priced. A real pleasure for the senses! Super recommended! The only drawback is that it's almost always complete and it's very hard to find a room.

What a shame. Cute hotel. We were given the room "Africa" which is exquisite. A quiet architectural masterpiece. I loved the room. The restaurant gets rave reviews and rightly so. There was great underground parking available (cost extra but it's worth it). Your car is always cool. Small things detracted though. Maintenance is lax (shower head loose, shower brace loose, toilet roll holder loose) service slow, insufficient toilet paper, cups, glasses & milk Coffee is terrible! We left shopping and electronics behind. There was no attempt to contact us. For a tiny town it's a great hotel in the best part of town. If you dont speak Spanish, brush up your Google translate skills though.

A magnificent example of how to recover and put in value a traditional building in the historical town of one of the beautiful towns of Andalusia. It is also curious that the Partiese initiative of a non-native person of the place. Thank you Mr Stewart.

Really lovely little hotel in a beautiful town. Our room was bright and spacious and going to breakfast was like walking through Aladdin’s maze to get to an beautiful rooftop.

Excellent service and a wonderful breakfast. The whole hotel is wonderful. The only thing was that our room had the bathroom unfinished and that also by the storm, there were blackouts permanently. But the balance has been more than positive. We'll repeat one day!

Nice hotel with charm and friendly staff. We stayed two nights at Palmares del Califa which is separate to rhetoric main hotel — so a 50m walk to have their delicious breakfast out in the inner court (no sun and no wind). Palmares has a nice small pool but pool towels would've been nice.

Fantastic place. We were inside the restaurant, rather than in the garden. Was still a lovely experience. The dishes are excellent… Home cooked, quality food with a strong Moroccan influence. Service excellent. The best restaurant in Vejer in my limited experience.

Restaurant of Arab cuisine of the good, have different vegetarian dishes also, the site is amazing according to your food, in summer you will have to book with a lot of advance. A month minimum, in winter if not marked dates may be lucky calling 15 days before, but what if it is true is that if you have scheduled a visit to the area Reserve also in this restaurant, a must-see in and around Vejer.

Magical place with a lot of charm, exquisite treatment of the staff, all the rooms are special, well worked the kitchen of its restaurant and full breakfast in its idyllic garden, without a doubt a reference in all the province of Cadiz, a place where always to return.

It is a nice place, good food and good service, but it is very hot in the courtyard. We had a lot of heat at dinner.

The surroundings, whether you are outside in the courtyard or inside, are beautiful (try and enter through the hotel so that you walk down the stairs and absorb the full atmosphere of the place! ) The Moroccan menu is really interesting, and there are many dishes that are good for sharing. The food is good without being excellent in my view; but the atmosphere of the place makes it a great night out (bit hot for lunch in the summer) and one that most people repeat again and again. It gets horrendously busy in the high season, so book well in advance!

Was hard to get to by car because of road works. Be prepared for lots of narrow steps to rooms and restaurant otherwise generally fine.

We stayed here 4 nights over Christmas. An interesting property right at the beautiful Placa Espana. Each room I imagine had its own character and size… the smaller ones can be pokey, so choose wisely. We had the rooms Africa and Luna, both with picture windows opening to sweeping views of vejer. Rooms are comfortable with reverse air conditioners. The bed in Africa could do with a new mattress. Breakfast every morning in the well reviewed restaurant is simple but varied and replenished ever so often. Service throughout the hotel is very good. Toni at reception is particularly friendly and helpful. Her restaurant and ither recommendations are spot on, thank you Toni! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends n will definitely come back.
