This hotel is wonderful! The people who work there are very helpful and friendly all spotless and comfortable room! I will definitely repeat.

Lovely place. It's the second time we've been here. On this occasion we have had a very spacious room with unbeatable views. Amazing cleanliness. Waiters and reception super friendly and always willing to help. Unbeatable place in the center of San José. In short: great.

We went my partner and I the first week of August and we can't be more delighted. Cleaning of 10, breakfast of 10 (people who complain about breakfast, I would like to see what they have breakfast in their house), very complete, a little bit of everything and quality. I was worried about parking as it is August, and we had no problems. We always had room in the chalet that is in front of the hotel and they enabled parking. And otherwise, on the street we would have parked phenomenal. The location of the hotel could not be better. Absolutely next to everything. The hotel staff couldn't be more friendly and attentive. They gave us maps, brochures and all the information we need to get around Cabo de Gata end-to-end. We were recommended to eat a rice in the restaurant 4 knots, in the port (4 beers, rice with octopus, clams and paprika of La Vera, a dessert and two coffees: about 50 euros the 2). You have to book before, but if it is complete, just the restaurant next door is theirs too and serve the same menu, but it is a little more informal and there it is not booked, it is on a first come first serve). We were also recommended Casa Miguel, very close to the hotel, and we loved it (4 beers, 3 servings, a dessert and two infusions: about 45 euros 2). We were told about the Níjar App and it is very practical. Comes information from all beaches, wind, jellyfish, restaurants.

I was very pleased! And very well priced.
Great breakfast and great staff just a catch that I see in the obligation to say it because until recently I had young children with everything that entails. My room was given to me on a second floor and the hostel does not have an elevator, for me it was no inconvenience but I think for some people it may be.

My girlfriend and I went blind, the reserve had been made by me and I was a little scared. We were treated exceptionally from the first moment, we will definitely repeat, value for money highly recommended. A few days at Cabo de Gata fabulous thanks to the recommendations of the staff. PS The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great place, the staff are excellent and the breakfast was very good. We loved staying there and when we return to San Jose we will definitely return.

A lovely little hotel and good value.

Excellent treatment. Very good breakfasts with ski machine coffee. Clean and cozy rooms. Highly recommended. If I go back to cape cats I would not hesitate I would return to this hostel. Thank you for your attention we have felt at home.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The staff were very friendly and comfortable. To be a hostel, breakfast meets your expectations. Centrally Located and close to all amenities.

Something should change, the cupboard we could not use (smelled a lot of humidity), they told us that the water was not potable, something that has never happened to me in an accommodation, the doors had the footprints of hundreds of hands (sign of lack of cleanliness)

We have repeated for all the attention, location, cleanliness and because it is very cozy. We hope to return to San Jose and repeat again.

Very central and quiet Hotel. The service is close and excellent. I recommend it.

A very cosy hostel. Good value for money in this time of year. Everything was renovated and the excellent cleanliness and especially to Tatiana, the lady who attended the reception and the breakfast. Very friendly asked if we knew the area and by saying no, we pointed out all the interesting and nice places to visit. A luxury of friendly person, attentive and concerned x our well-being during the stay.

I Hicieson a reservation this summer for a room with a terrace. When I arrived I found that they had no available until several days later. Honestly, I do not like to have to endure with conditions that are not for which I have paid and reserved. Also the photos they teach are of rooms with jointed and modern furniture. Then you find a very different reality.

The friendliness of its employees always willing to make you the pleasant stay made it surpass our expectation.

Hotel close to the sea, expensive for Spain and the reception really not terrible.

Hostel clean and very well located. Nice and rich breakfast. Very small rooms. Treatment is right, maybe something dry.
There is No parking.

All the year waiting for our week of vacation, on the beach and relaxing, we have been tarnished of disappointment and a feeling of disinclination on the part of the address of the Hostal Santuario San Jose. If they put some conditions and penalize customers for booking cancellation with less than 7 days from the date of entry, which unless it is reciprocal, and whether they now take a penalty. We agree that a human error, as they have told us, what have any, but we must not assume that error. The accommodation that we have been able to find, because the dates are, if you have the same category, but not the same conditions that we had hired, but here if we have been treated with the kindness and professionalism that we have given you. I just hope that the address of the Hostel we put in our situation and think a little. A pity not having been able to enjoy our days as we had thought. A greeting.

Ill-fated. Yesterday, day 23, after 600 km from Madrid and with a reservation made from two months ago, we found that our room was cancelled, without prior notice or notification of any kind. The receptionists assume your error, but that there are no rooms available. We get to relocate in other accommodation with a greater distance to beach, but without the conditions that we had hired. We talked with management to reach an agreement and to assume part of the cost of the accommodation to which you sent us, because if you cancel with less than seven days will charge you a penalty, as in all hotels, but they do not assume any kind of gratification, and is lost to evade its responsibility and leaving us with the girl on reception and on our second day we are still waiting for a response, we go a shame. The local is not what I can assess, because we have not been able to see it. That if, I am sure, that to assume part of the cost of the other hotel, specifying that not whole if not part, of the cost of the hotel, we replied that if we wanted despidiese to any of its employees, we are a great professional.

Renovated room, normal rooms, but nothing exceptional. Staff not very knowledgeable and a little rude.

The past day 16 to 19 of July of the current we were staying in this hotel more than a hostel is a true "sanctuary" of good taste, because the first thing that strikes you is the decor and atmosphere, both in the common areas and the rooms, although somewhat small, they supplied this lack of space, for its CLEANLINESS, yes in capital letters, for organization and comfort; second, and far more important, the human and professional quality of the staff that treats you, from the first to the last of the people with whom we have treaty, surprised these attentions, when we are immersed in a society of machines and impersonal in full, here, on the contrary make you feel as in your own home. If we return to the park of Cabo de Gata, we repeat the Hostel, The Shrine of Saint Joseph, for sure. It'Ah! I forgot a very special greeting to Luis MIguel, one of the waiters. Thank you all for everything.

Great hotel, should be a 3*, not 2. Had a room with a terrace looking out onto the town and ocean. Also try El Jardin restaurant in the port. Amazing meals.

Highly recommended, very family friendly, quiet, close to the beach, the food is very good especially the salmorejo treatment very nice.

Small, styllish hotel. Close to busy centre of village but an oasis of calm. Great attention from staff. Excellent, reasonably priced restaurant. Fantastic value for money.
