Camping Albergue Tau Campground

We are at the usual, expensive camping, no hot water in the washbasins and to wash The dishes, it is dangerous for campers, with narrow passages to the limit, low and protruding branches.

Very disappointed to get ripped of in the bar 15 euros for 2 glasses of wine and croquetas! That’s very very expensive for here, in many other bars the wine is 2.50 and croquetas free! Shame nice ambiance.

Quiet and familiar, the bar, Pepe, a charm. That if, I find a campground a bit expensive for the services it offers.

The best camping in Almería and possibly Andalusia.

The place is relatively fine. There is not much comfort for the price. It's not as loud for that there in the offseason as it is in Los Escullos. Very practical is the proximity to the place. It is also not very far to the famous beaches.

It is a peaceful place… Comfortable. Simply lovely…! I recommend camping here and enjoying the beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol.

Have been here the 3rd week of september. Ideal position, almost in he village. Five minutes walk to the centre and supermarket. Logical the campsite shop is limited or closed. Showers and toilets in perfect condition and cleaned twice a day. Nice camping. The receptionist may give the impression not to be so friendly, but that is not true. You can not expect him to speak five languages. Bar owner and personal is very friendly.

In the bar of the camping there are musical performances during the summer who will accompany taking a very good homemade Burger.

On value for money, it is better to stay at the hostel, the price is much cheaper, and they offer the same services, even in the hostel you have fridge to share in the common dining room; at the campsite you have to pay it to part.
The bungalows are size mini, the sheets have to pay them to part. At night I advise a mosquito repeller because some and giant. If you close the windows so that they are not bugs, you drown by the insufferable heat and is there more shade in the parking lot that within the campsite.

A very quiet environment and friendly atmosphere. If you go in the summer there is usually a waiting list to be able to stay for the night. I myself had to sleep one night in the van to go to the next day. In the summer, in the campgrounds of the area usually go through the same thing. There are some that even support waiting list. This one in particular is well situated, I highly recommend it.

Good camping, almost full (first half of august 2015), we have motobikes. And that night was blackout, so quite fun.

Positive experience, in a room of a hostel with clean drop sheets, clean bathrooms with toilet paper and aerated. Receptionist nice, told us where to go to see a spectacular sunset.

To my gave me the most remote of all the campsite where they don't even fit my van having plots best empty and having been told on the phone that is not reserved. When I asked if I could settle on a plot nearby and shaded I was told that was reserved.

We have come to a concert and to dinner, there is a great atmosphere, but are a disaster when they have events, the bartenders were new and they were explained as they should be coordinated. Had to ask several times what we wanted. Thankfully, the musicians were good and saved the night, well by "the honks".

We had an amazing experience in Camping Tau! It's a chill out place, very nice in everything, with free Wi-Fi and nothing missing!

I have gone with the whole family (three generations: grandson, parents and grandparents) the bridge of may 1, 2013, and our experience is absolutely positive. Kindness poured both in the reception with the restaurant and bar, shade or sun to choose from in amount according to the likes and/or origin of each. Services (toilets and showers) limpísimos whenever I have made use of them both in the male and a female part. A lot of spaces added as barbecues very spacious and with tables to phagocytose the freshly cooked and well lit at night, children's games, spaces of benches and tables in the shade. And above is integrated in the urban part of San José with what you have very close to restaurants galore, supermarkets, atms, the beach… and in the center of the natural Park with trips to the wonderful places pretty pristine Park are all within a half hour of car if you are going to a more distant. We have travelled several days, two different before eating fish of the day in any restaurant in the area. Breakfast at a very reasonable price and prepared with affection and sympathy in the own bar of the campsite and a patxarán home of the fifth galician province that a few times I took it better, even in Navarre. My experience at the campsite was regular. It is small and almost all the plots are in the sun. If the camping would depend on the sympathy of the receptionist would be completely empty, since it is an edge and does not have a suitable deal with the customers, it seems that your arrival and your presence disturbs him, luckily the woman compensates for their antipathy.
