Just returned from our 3rd stay at this hotel, brilliant location for families, its large, super clean and organised even when busy. Staff are very attentive and friendly. First holiday since covid, masks still worn in indoor areas which I loved and cleaning was always taking place everywhere. Kids activities were brilliant as usual, the only big problem was the outdoor pool was freezing I mean so cold my 4yr old came out shaking. It really needs heating for Easter week. We spent time at the beach & indoor pool instead. Food was plentiful, chef cooked gluten free options for my daughter daily. Just a lovely good quality hotel, see you next year!

Lovely hotel. Excellent and friendly staff. Well organised and well run hotel. Exceptionally clean — lots of staff thoroughly cleaning all areas each morning. Really enjoyed the buffet — very good quality food, mostly European style food but always lots of options — their small plates (tapas style) made and served by the chefs at different stations are varied each day and of high quality. Lovely pool, gate onto the beach and promenade. Lots of activities each day. Lovely cafe con leche and mojitos on the all inclusive agenda. Torox Costa is a very European, small and cute resort and the hotel reflects this — lots of Spanish and other European people staying here. Highly recommend for a relaxing, high quality stay. Will be looking at other Iberostar hotels now as I have heard many good things.

Came today and so far really pleased. Great checkin. Every care taken. Pleased with room and food is excellent. The staff are sooo obliging. Really smart nearly Silver Service!

The hotel is very nice and very well conditioned for people with disabilities. But in my opinion it leaves a lot to be desired :
-my room smelled too much of a pipe, it was disgusting.
-The buffet leaves to be desired both in quality and quantity, for lunch and dinner there was practically the same, saving some star dish with pork. I see well from the security measures that it's the skewers who serve the food, but they served the bare minimum, food shortages. The ice cream machine, all over the place, has been run by pushes.
They control access to the buffet, I think it's perfect, but they don't control the q-tails they make inside it for a simple toasted slice, an grilled steak or a simple burger.
Most of the staff very unmotivated.
— The all-inclusive out of lunchtime — dinner, super pitiful. Barely existing food :peanuts, olives, little and few pastries and a dry and sad fridge sandwich.
I didn't drink soft drinks or alcohol. I was just asking for a bottle of water poured into a glass so as not to enter glass… Well, they gave me impediments, they wanted me to take water from a machine… And why can't I drink bottled water? I paid 480 EU, 2 people, 2 nights with all inclusive to send me to drink water from a machine passed by a filter… Amazing!

We've spent the Halloween weekend and it's been unforgettable! Everything perfect, installations, decoration, staff, animation, everything perfect, it's the first time we go and we will definitely repeat. The only thing we have missed is jacuzzi or hot tub in the junior suite…

A very nice hotel with a lovely swimming pool and the hotel is right on the sandy beach. There are multiple bars and lounges, ample sun loungers etc. The restaurant is self service with a good variety of fresh food on offer. We have visited twice now and had consistently good service, if you like to eat and drink plenty then the all inclusive option is great value.

Absolutely loved every day in this hotel. My daughter had a blast from start to end. Beautiful surroundings, nice pool and the most important The Water Slides!
The food was very nice and delicious with lots of varieties every day. No day was like the one before.

The Iberostar is a very well kept and beautiful hotel. The food in the buffet was very good and had a huge selection and variety. Some of the rooms don't offer great views so you need to be sure that your room has a poolside view. The camps they offer for the children are great my children really loved them and made a lot of friends. The counselor's really do a great job entertaining the children. It's also nice to offer mom and dad a nice little break. The cleaning staff does a great job of keeping everything nice and neat. Overall very nice place to take the family I would stay again if I have the chance.

This is not the first time Iberostar has been in the hotel chain. Very worthy projects. Were in Montenegro and Mallorca.
As for Malaga Playa! THE HOTEL IS HUGE OVER 100 ROOMS! People are appropriate too, which is not very good. The pool is alone, though large, always crowded. Very uncomfortable, really difficult to swim from one edge to another.
Regarding the rooms. Everything is very old, I would say ancient, shower, TV, furniture, air conditioning. What to continue, the walls are painted, chipped, on the chairs stains. Towels are also expected to be cleaner.
The hotel is healthy, full of corridors and difficult at first to find a room.
The food is very tasty on the grill. Not bad breakfasts. The rest is full of all sorts of media. Fruits are never ripe.
The beach is nice, always clean. The beds are 5 euros a day.
In general, the territory is very happy with its greenery.
Well, the hotel is old it's snooty and feels all over from the entrance to the ricepthin when you look at it, and there's like 1990. Up to the cards on the towel, which are dragged to the impossible.
80% of Spaniards, few Germans and Dutch.
As a result, if you choose a holiday in Spain. The second time I wouldn't have come back. Unlike Iberostar Playa Del Muro in Mallorca.

Very nice hotel. Busy as could be expected in the month of August but doesn’t feel over crowded. The pool is nice a warm, great for little kids. They have a great water park for the kids. Only one restaurant for all meals which is often crowded. This isn’t a problem but could be frustrating for some as the sound can be a bit overwhelming.

It’s the third time I have been to this hotel and it gets better every time. Good food, great service, great entertainment. Will be be back agin soon.

Best impossible for both my wife and I are self-employed and we have a week a year of vacation so it is important q all is well, perfect choice this year from the first to the last reception restaurant spa… can't be more charming. Congratulations to all the staff, do q we have very little desire to return to Zaragoza.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. So glad to get out of vacation! Highly recommended. The installations are renovated and the stay is still wonderful.

Superb hotel in a great location, literally in front of the beach. Our room is big enough for 3 and we have a great terrace with sea view (I think we have been lucky on that one). The staff is extra nice and we have been treated very well so far. The only but would be the food. Dinner last night was ok but not great, although breakfast was better. The pool area is amazing, big pool with enough chairs and umbrellas for everyone. Overall the sensation is really good, I would recommend it 100% for family and even couple holidays!

Room was comfortable, but is a bit dated (there is modernised rooms but unfortunately we didn't get one of those), we stayed here for bed and breakfast, food at breakfast is a buffet, choice for continental is great loads too choose from, if you prefer a cooked breakfast omelettes are great, but if you're after bacon and sausages this won't be your cup of tea. Pool area is great and my children (2 and 5) loved the splash park and pool in general. Beach is a stone's throw from the back gate of the hotel, and it's a nice walk up the promenade, where we ate for our evening meals, some of the restaurants down there aren't too great but the barbecue restaurants (come out of the back gate and turn right) were our personal favourites, some good sea food and meat options. The entertainment is really good my children loved the frozen show, and the entertainers are always about doing games and doing things for the kids. Staff in general are all welcoming and friendly. The place as a whole I'd probably give a 4* but the room let it down for me and also drinks are pricey if you're not all inclusive (€5 for half a pint of average beer), and you have a tab that you settle at the end of the holiday which I wasn't a fan of personally. But in all great family get away in the sun.

Love this hotel, 2nd time we've stayed and will return next year. Clean, child friendly and amazing food. The staff are welcoming and efficient with managers always seen on the floor. Kids club is wonderful, my children loved it. I used the spa which was a very good massage for a fair price. Good location straight onto the beach with shops around. Well done Iberostar keep up the good work so we can return next year!

Not a very big, cozy hotel with a nice pool and a mini water park for kids. If you rent a car do not go to Sol Auto in front of the hotel — cheat with insurance.

Extremely committed and competent staff. Family. Right on the beach with beach access. Large pool and a "water park" for children. Children's playground has many trees and therefore enough shade for the little ones. The food is good and varied, but as with (as good as) all hotels mass instead of true class. Well reared by hotel management, super location.

The best hotel in the whole area. When I go with my family I always go to the same. It's very comfortable and my daughter loves it. I am very delicate with the food and have always eaten very well. At this hotel. I know I'm not mistaken here when we always come back. And it's been six times. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location, never disappointed with the Iberostar chain. Top home, animations just what it takes to distract and have fun. The comfort of the rooms is good with good bedding. Our daughters loved the castle of water jets as well as the Mini Club. We were half board with drinks included in the evening, the buffet changes every night, very nice buffet of crudités, desserts, fresh smoothies in the morning. The only downside would be a bit of a lack of fish choices, but this remains my personal opinion.

Excellent staff, really made my trip 100 times better, they are extremely professional and were always going above and beyond to make sure I was having the best time. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the location is excellent to enjoy the best of the south of Spain. This is where I'm staying next time I vacation! Highly recommended! CJP.

We spend a great stay at this hotel (Ch 429 — Pool/sea view) The staff are charming, very helpful and smiling, especially at the restaurant where the food served is excellent and in quantity.
The room staff who place you as the kitchen staff is also very smiling and considerate.
A no-fault restaurant side!
On the pool side, the place is also nice with sun baths and parasols in number and in good condition.
Impeccable gardens and secure access to the beach.
I would recommend this hotel without any reservations!

Nice hotel and area very close to the beach. Only draw back was that children ran around in the lounge bar with out parents control This spoiled it for us. But I suppose it is a family hotel so if you can't put up with children then this hotel is not for you. Apart from that it is a lovely hotel. Food and room was very good.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Wheelchair Friendly. Super location, directly at boardwalk. Wonderfull buffet dinner and breakfast. At the time we were here it was very quiet in the hotel and no fights over poolbeds. The place to be in the month of April/May if you like peace&quiet, sun&beach.

Nice hotel, good food and great location just for parents with children. The only drawback is the size of the dining room. Unfortunately, this reminds us of a canteen. But the food is really varied and of good quality.

Excellent cleanliness, correct rooms, very good service, all-inclusive concept in Spanish style. Good buffet, healthy food… The only objection is the variety of grilled fish, I think they could put higher fish and be less repetitive. The waitress Noelia has been excellent, always worried that our stay would be very enjoyable.

The hotel has an amazing situation, you can enjoy the beach just a few meters away, the food is very good, it is ideal for families, but definitely the best is the hotel staff, attentive to us at all times, very professional the reception staff. We will definitely come back as it has been an unforgettable experience.

This place is absolutely “AMAZING “. The staff make you feel welcome and constantly greet you in. The food is nop notch! Came here as a celebration treat! … when I came back to room after sunbathing I found a bottle of champagne, strawberries and truffles awaiting for me. You would not be disappointed. Fantastic place. Rooms are clean and views are out of this world. No complaints. Can’t wait to come back! ☀️☀️

We loved this hotel, very well located, on the same beach, very clean, the rooms pretty well and the service too. It is a very spacious hotel and has everything, gym and spa included. It only has one drawback, the buffet is varied, but it is not very extensive. Kids really enjoy the indoor water park. Recommended.

A very nice hotel, right by the sea. Beautiful rooms. Good animation. Delicious food, but due to the size of the hotel, the restaurant was accordingly large, so also quite noisy when eating. The staff was very nice and the reception around the clock was staffed.

Eating very tasty and varied. Large dining room, where it can unfortunately get crowded, loud and hectic — but I just believe that's the case with a big hotel like this.
Pool unfortunately a bit cold (despite movement and temperatures around 30 degrees) The beverage prices (if mine doesn't have an all-inclusive) are quite expensive after all.
Many supermarkets in the area, which unfortunately have opaque opening hours (Should have opened according to signs, but all had too — no holiday! ). Otherwise, there's not that much going on in the area. Many Germans — "winterers" and tourists. You have to like it, but that's not a matter for the hotel.
I can recommend the hotel without restriction. I felt comfortable and welcome. Very suitable for families — children are offered a lot.

Amazing place to rest with family, a meal that although there is not much variety, is spectacular, perfect for children in summer with a water park within the hotel itself, very friendly service, well-conditioned rooms, with a bathroom with everything Necessary.
If you want to spend a quiet holiday and walk to the beach, from my point of view I recommend 100%

A successful architectural structure. The outdoor facilities are very well maintained u managed. The service is very good. The rooms very well maintained. Linguistically versatile. The waiters — waitress very accommodating.
The exterior — terraces are oversight with weighty beautiful cast iron chairs. But where a simple chair edition would be very desirable. For me, the meals were versatile. In the reception level, the armchairs were a little seated through …

I had a hard time deciding if I should give this 'resort' a 1-star or 2-star rating. First off, Torrox-Costa is a filthy area and filled with exceptionally rude people… however, I am aware this is not the resorts fault. The entrance to the lobby is spectacular to see. Very beautiful. Yet, they must pump some horrendous room freshener throughout the lobby and it was hard to get over. The rooms were awful. The air conditioner is loud with only two settings (extremely hot/extremely cold). Even when set at cold throughout the night, it would be boiling in the morning. The beds are super hard with cheap linen, hard pillows and dirty blankets. Shower was a detachable head and the part where you would hook it up (so you didn't have to hold it) was broken. It would fall randomly and knock you in the head. Also the showers only have a tiny piece of glass to stop the water from going everywhere. This would cause the whole bathroom to be soaked after a short shower. The cleaning staff would knock on your door at 8:45am some days and if you weren't ready and out the door for them, too bad for you. Entertainment was hard to see, as the room was always packed with people. Forced to sit outside. From what I could see, I didn't miss out on much. Staff was completely uninterested in helping. I was always made to feel shame for asking a question, it was really discouraging. I resorted to asking the lady in the car rental place right outside the resort (she was so kind).

This hotel is nice and beautiful, I had a big room with pool and sea view, bathroom was good also. Area is green, the sea is very close but the send is black which is not nice, although water was clean. Staff of the hotel was friendly and helpfull, we liked water gymnastic but zumba in water is impossible to do, too fast. Food in restaurant is the main problem in this hotel, very poor choice, they tried to make different tematic nights but food was always the same, just in different shapes, they had good desserts though) No steaks! There r some good bars close to the hotel where u can eat very tasty meet) Night shows were funny sometimes, they really tried to do it good, but everything became quite after 22, all bars closed and nothing to do, around the hotel was same situation — just no places to go. I would recommend this hotel and place in general for families with kids or couples who prefer quite atmosphere at early night.

Very nice stuff which takes care of the kids. They play and tinker a lot with them. So you can relax and enjoy your holiday even more. The only thing which disturbed me was the cold water in the pool. It is not heated and you cannot just relax in the water.

Staff very friendly and helpful I have not experienced like here yet. Large parking lot directly at the hotel! Gladly again.

Rooms are very well furnished. Free parking spaces are available nearby. Restaurant rather uncomfortable, acts like a canteen (volume). Some music in the background would work wonders.

Good friendly service and nice setting and area. Offers all most people would need to have a great holiday. If you do have to criticize it would be on details for those demanding a 5 star level of quality. For instance dont expect the lobster on the buffet to be of the quality you get in a specialised restaurant. The quality of food is good varied and enjoyable but if you want better ham you can find better in the mercadona supermarket across the street. Other people might want oatmeal porridge for breakfast etc. The above are not bad points though but might explain why most ppl give this five stars while others are more critical. Still we enjoyed it here and recommend this place. Gracias!

Beautiful mediterranean style hotel right down at the beach. Big pool, fantastic buffet style dinner and friendly staff. Extra to pay for the underground garage and safe. We had an excellent time.

1 line of beach with a perfect beach and very good atmosphere, more if there is a campeomato of Spain of handball in which you participate to the laddo, pperfecta experiences jussto views.

Has some facilities great, good location and near a lot of restaurants and sites of leisure. Beach with some Chinese but very clean and with all the services.

Hotel Iberostar is in Torrox Costa, Malaga this have a perfect service and you can have an enjoy weekend in their beaches. The room of this hotel always is in perfect condition.

I liked especially the pool and the party of ibiza.

It is very comfortable and very quiet surroundings. It's great for a family holiday.

It was called Riu Torrox when I was done a lot years ago, back in 2000 and it is a hotel very big, but cosy, with a lot of marble in the main entrance hall, good sized pool and spacious rooms, I liked it then, now I don't know how it will be.

Nice Hotel directly on the Promenade. Great Pool and rather quiet, only during the day, when Animation or Sport is, the music is played. We had All inclusive and the food was awesome. Previously had not much to expect, but my fears are confirmed. Very varied and fresh, daily changing variety of meats and fish and salads. Also, there was every day something Special, for example, Iberian specialties or Lobster. For a few drinks had a surcharge to be paid, but for the benefit of the quality and therefore completely in order. The rooms were big and were cleaned daily. Service was very good. We had on the day of departure even a Breakfast at 3 o'clock in the morning as a small Buffet. They also helped us quickly, as we are on the balcony were locked out (please note that balcony doors never quite close ;-) ). The evening entertainment was ok, we would have a little more and more, especially outdoors desired. One night there was a Party at the Pool with live music — of which, more happy. The gym is sufficient for the holidays, a small selection of older devices is available. The service staff was mostly very nice and eager, and sometimes very funny. For a small tip it was then all ;-) Wi-Fi, you had one hour per day free of charge, no matter where in the Hotel you are currently staying. Parking garage at the Hotel costs a bit, but we always have next to the Hotel or street Park for free (on market day).

The hotel M. Good and the staff very attentive, but I refer to a detail very ugly of the address, which was inflexible to change (for family needs), two dinners for two meals, taking into account that a family member left the hotel on Thursday and had already paid the half board until Saturday.

So lovely I just love it! One of The Best in Andalucia. …

A few crooks, we introduce ourselves to its facilities and tell us that our reservation have moved it without notifying another hotel in torremolinos, at the end we have left without vacation.

A very nice place with Andalucian atmosphere fantastic for a few evenings of luxury, with istalaciones of scandal for adults and children, very friendly staff especially in bars are always and customer contact.
