Hotel lovely and food very good, the room very well with. Room that gives independence to the room, to my taste, a bit slow serving the food, but the food is great, x is generally very good and staff very attentive, excellent and very friendly, staff a 10. I recommend it and the site is great, very trankilo.

September 2018, This is not a hotel!. No Aircon except in room nd bar. Locked shutters on windows nd steel bars. Wonder what health nd safety wud say about it. If your flight is in the evening, no shower or towels will be provided, change in toilet nd enjoy the sticky feeling. Will try anything once, as in this case. Mick from Dublin.

Customer service appalling. Waitor kept us waiting hr then tried to snatch the drinks from table and threatened to ring police. We didn't book breakfast as we like to try different venues but were refused at the hotel. Told kitchen closed till 12 unless breakfast was prebooked. All issues can be coped with. Long treks or bus to nearest cafe or beach. But far most negative feedback was the disrespect and rudeness of the bar and cafe personnel. Unbelievably rude and ignorant. Wi-Fi non existent. Need to be fit and hiking boots for walk to beach. No info provided by hotel staff. Positive. Room was comfortable and v clean. But wouldn't cone again. V dissappointed. Tv no signal and noisy outside. Never again restaurant staff rubbish.

The hotel itself is fine. Acceptable breakfast and great daily menu, but are divided into two buildings that force you to cross the road and mostly continue to advertise on some websites that have pool when, at least in this year does not sign.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It does not have a swimming pool, although both on the web and in the agencies it says that if, therefore the terrace is not accessible either.
In the photos there are some green areas with lawns… because you can't access them either.
The coves that are supposedly nearby are inaccessible if you go with a small child,
you have to take the car by the nose.
That is another, on the web it says that it has a garage… Well… Either.
At most there are 3 car parks in the hotel area and they are obviously always busy.
Our room had a refrigerator, which never worked and was not fixed or changed… that is something else that was not solved.
The only nice thing, the reception girl who advised us some places and the guy at the bar who tb tried to fix the fridge.
Otherwise, not recommended if you read the description.

A simple site in Maro, is Aparthotel and with a nice lookout to the sea for lovers of tranquility and beautiful coves with little parking.

It is not the best in Maro but ok!

You hear all the noises, need to do renovations because things are outdated, in the toilets as they have no window they have to put extractors for the bad smells. Very poor breakfast and the other meals there are some that stop wishing.

We only used the restaurant here as we were staying in Nerja. In fact we had lunch here twice and had the menu del dia. Excellent food thoroughly enjoyed.

Very good option to spend a few days in Nerja.

Very good 3☆ hotel, good all round, very good food and very freindy staff.

First impression, nice facilities, great views and very cozy with a good furnished. It has Wi-Fi pretty good and all of this at a fairly reasonable price.

Propitious place to rest with a natural and familiar environment.

Old, clean moi and glued as covas de nerja. Recommended. A little pobo, Maro.

I had the feeling of staying at the Marigold Hotel. Not for the facilities but for the people who lived in it. Sixtysomethings with great desire to enjoy and we got it.

Excellent and cheap food (menu del dia).

Menu of the day with a very good meal and you get out of the ordinary on menus. Very kind.

You eat divinely and you spend the right.

The hotelrooms are clean and in a good condition. The breakfast is minimal but ok, the dinner was pretty great and always differently​. You are surrounded by nice people and are able to enjoy a great time there.

Very welcoming. Food was spot on. Definitely worth a visit after a trip to the caves.

Avoid this place. Extremely poor service. Do NOT stay here. Four hours after we checked in, we were finally given two rooms with working air conditioning, curtains (one of the rooms that we were originally offered had no curtains! ) and the the correct number of beds. I had to return to reception FIVE TIMES in order to get the two rooms that we had ordered. We were put in Room 211 (air conditioning was broken and the previous resident had smoked in this room), Room 212 (too small for three people), Room 213 (no curtain in the room), 214 (this room had working air conditioning and curtains), Room 215 (this room was too small for three beds). We were then offered Room 311 which stank of cigarette smoke from the previous guests. Room 314 has room for three guests, the air conditioning works and there is no smell of cigarette smoke. In the end, I had to move one bed from one of the original rooms in the first floor to the second floor! Each time I was given a key for a new room I had to return to reception which was across the road and down the street. We were advised by the tour operator that there is free Wi-Fi here but this is not true. The receptionist told me that I have to pay as our rooms are not on the main building, but across the road and down the street. I have stayed in several hotels but I have never seen such appalling "service" as offered by this place. Thankfully we only have two more nights booked to stay here. Pat.

The breakfast was a great disappointment, zero variety, zero nutritional: juice of powders, ham york that not I dared to try, bread white, mini cupcakes in plastic and coffee of jug, not it ask of machine because it charge to part. I could not wash my hair by the non-existent force of the shower and in a site of beach is quite annoying (thank goodness I was only 3 days). All them days I woke up to the 7 am thanks to the noise unbearable of the road and the walls of paper. Highlight also the made of that close the restaurant very soon, I asked a tea to them 10:40 (already not had dinner) and I cast to them 11 because closed, you put the tea but you miss without warn whenever there are in 20 minutes, all a detail and a shows of respect to the client. In addition the village not has almost life by what is complicated find another site for dinner. It would never repeat and I would recommend to any visitor to choose another option, anyone would say that you are in Malaga, the people of the hotel very dry.

Is a hotel outdated, uncomfortable and decadent. It is glued to the road and the noise of the cars is incompatible with the rest, something that neither help old slat bases and mattresses and the narrow dimensions of the beds. Impossible shower is: the water just sale by the artichoke of the shower and the TV is as the screen of a portable and the connection is goes of form intermittent. Breakfast deserves a separate chapter, zero range, zero quality. If you take a machine coffee they charge it apart. Don't try to dine at its restaurant — one Friday at 10.30 it is too late — the decor is kitch and decadent, plastic flowers adorning the entire hotel. There is no point complaining, this hotel gives you as customer and I guess that also this comment, I hope that it will serve to dissuade others from going to this site.

Hotel of very bad quality, baths slippery, parking not exists, the hour of closing of the kitchen of the restaurant to the 10.30. Much noise and rooms very dirty, not recommended.

Well located. To 5 minutes in car have of Nerja. Spacious rooms with living room, bathroom and kitchen. Good value for money.

Good treatment, room spacious, quiet, nice view and very clean. (Excellent presentation) gourmet meals.
We will repeat.

Nice and close to the beaches of the natural park of the cliffs of Maro.
