It was clean, comfortable and adorable! Our host was very kind, personable, and helpful and spoke fluent English and Korean as well as a bit of Spanish (probably other languages too! ). Good A/C, good atmosphere, clean Korean style showers. Definitely a good place to make unique memories!

Best guess house ever! When ever you arrive to a place and you feel like home that is the the correct place! Excellent service, excellent internet, location and environment! The owners Changoon and Boyoung are the best couple ever! I feel so happy that they make an extraordinary experience from Seoul!

What an amazing place to stay! This guesthouse is at a great location, it is very close to a lot of tourist attractions. The Gyeongbokgung Palace is literally 100 meters away from this place and that´s just one tourist attraction that you can find when you stay at RAON GUESTHOUSE. There are loads of museums and palaces around this guesthouse area and as for transportation there bus stops and train stations nearby. So getting around the city from this place is very convenient and easy. If you decide to walk like we did, there are so many little amazing places to see around this area! This guesthouse is extremely clean the owner takes care of this place really well. Also, it comes with free breakfast :) As for the host, I don´t know where to begin to describe how nice Changgon is. First we arrived before the check-in time. Changgon greated us with a big smile and lead us to our room 4 hours before our check-in time! Then he told us where to go for affordable food, places to see and he took us around to show the city at night. This is one stand up dude! He and his wife definitely made our stay in seoul unforgettable. I recommend this place 100% if you are looking for an affordable place with a great location in seoul and want to experience a bit of Korean culture!

Very serene environment, very clean, comfortable and traditional Hanok, and very hospitable owner! Highly recommend!

Spent two nights here. Conveniently located by many of the ancient Korean palaces, such as Changdeok and Gyeongbok Palace. Changgon, the owner, was a very gracious and resourceful host. I strongly recommend staying here if you are planning a vacation to Seoul.

Place was very near Gyeongbokgung Palace and accessible to Anguk station (great place to shop for souvenirs and bags).
Changgon was very responsive and helpful. He recommended us to a great place where we could have authentic Korean food with affordable price.
Upon check in he was there to welcome us (he even gave us fruits from his parents from Jeju) and since the place was not fully booked during our time, he transferred us to a bigger room because of our multiple luggage… with the same price that he originally gave us.
Breakfast was great with toast, jams perfectly home made by his wife, eggs are ready for us to cook.
He gave us better options or maybe even the best way to go to one place to another to save time and money. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this to friends (i am advertising his guesthouse as of this typing). Thank you so much Changgon (for the help with calling and speaking to various locals about my lost document).

I'm not the world's most seasoned traveler, but I have made a number of beautiful trips lately and one of it during our stay in Raon Guesthouse located strategically in Hanok Village, Korea. I loved it, we loved it. We get exhausted with the beauty, unique and raw moments during our stay in Raon Guesthouse but come back wiser and better off for having seen more of the world. The Korean traditional room was spacious, unique, comfy and warm. The owner was friendly, informative and helpful during our stay. Recommended for travellers who wish to blend and experience the living of local Korean. p/s: extra credit we were served with traditional Korean drinks which exclusively produced by the locals.

RAON is excellent hotel. And very kind owner.

Here is traditional Korean style house. Cozy, comforting rooms, interesting Korean style in the area. RAON is a pure Korean word meaning 'Pleasure' Kind owner was welcoming us so well. Nearby there is Gamgodang gil (street) at the corner, it was very pleasant to have such beautiful place. Nice cafes, accessary places, restaurants and etc. On the top, you can also enjoy the food with people there together and the owner is providing food sometimes. He is young and pleasant guy too. Enjoy the place!
