I visited during winter Need improve Maintenance: electrical cooking stuff breakdown, toilet clogged, portable heater smell burned, main door pin number lock need align. > Rooms, kitchen, bathroom is clean > Take about 5min walk to underground railway > Near convenient stores.

This is a scam. Don’t book this hotel. The owner told us we can’t get makeup on the bed sheets or else he will charge us. After we left, he sent us a photo of something that spilled on the bed sheets (it looked like water from the pictures). He told us he is charging us KRW100000 for the bedsheets to be dry cleaned. We don’t recall messing anything on the bedsheets during our stay. The bed sheets were not even perfectly clean when we got there. “Breakfast” is just bread and jam. The bathroom was dirty and wasn’t cleaned even once during our stay. The owner even called us one of the days to tell us that we’re using too much hot water. There was a really bad smell in the hallway that came into our room every time we opened the door. This was definitely a scam. Not allowed to bring food into your room. This is not a hotel, it’s just a cheap hostel. Rather pay more and get decent clean accommodation.

To be honest, I was expecting a bad experience in staying in this hotel because of the reviews I've read. However, our stay was all over nice. Mr. Kim was very kind, and even gave us free beer! He also accompanied us to the airport bus station when it was time for us to go. The rooms were ok and the towels were changed everyday. The hotel is also close to Myeongdong shopping district and convenience stores. Will recommended this place to anyone who wants to visit Seoul. :)

Dirty, humid, lack of ventilation, room not at all welcoming, responsible a little stingy… I have never seen the color of breakfast! Disabled for people with reduced mobility and sick all short!

HA HA DO YOU WHAT? JUST DON'T TRY TO BOOK THIS HOTEL I JUST TRY TO TOLD SOMETHING REAL! If I can give zero or minus star that will be the best. I will never recommend this hotel, I came to the hotel for check-in, on 14:30, I just arrived at 14:00 there were 2 guy stood in front the door and they told me that the door was locked and their check-in time was 14:00, we bell the door so many times but no one open the door for us. We just wait outside because here wasn't has the lobby and the temperature outdoor in Seoul was — 11℃! Finally, we went to the restaurant beside the hotel after one hour and finding the staff helped us to call the hotel's owner. But do you know the most angry thing is he didn't say sorry for it. We asked why you didn't wait in the hotel for the guests check-in time you gave us? And were are you been? But he just smile and didn't said anything. The room wasn't had the heater and hot water! I asked to the owner he siad he will fix the water problem buy they will not provide the heater they have electric heating pad only. And the last day I need luggage keeping because I need to checkout at 7am for the one day trip so he told me just put the luggage on the stairs, I thought that maybe he will keep it late but the fact that NO he just leave it on the stairs all the day! WTTTTTTTTTTT… ONE MORE TIME JUST DON'T TRY TO BOOK THIS HOTEL!

One of the places I can definitely recommend when in Seoul. It's near Myeong-dong and Dongdaemun. Within 100m you're in Chungmuro Station, which is helpful for travelers going to the two places I mentioned and Gyeongbokgung and Insa-dong. The owner, Mr. Kim, is very strict at first, but he just wants you to treat your room as your own room. But after a while, he's very helpful in providing directions to tourist spots and will lend a hand in lifting your baggage.

You get exactly what you paid for in this hostel. The rooms are very small, but managable. Regardless of the time you arrive, no one will greet you so you'll have to wait outside untill another guest opens the door. Rooms will not be cleaned and sheets will not be replaced regardless the length of your stay, The commune space is pretty dirty. The location is great and central. The manager is abcent most of the time.

It is an okay Hostel for the budget concious and is adjacent to most tourist sites in central Seoul. The polave is presentable and the landlord/ proprietor Mr. Kim is more than willing to acquaint you in the area. You just need to abide with certain house rules like; prohibition of bringing ans eating of food in rooms, cleaning/ washing your own dishes after using and turning on and off lobby lights when entering your respective rooms.

This place is awful! Just don't stay here. If you are coming to Korea stay in Hongdae, there are many beautiful guesthouses and the area is so much better than Myeongdong. This hostel is not like the photos. It is dirty and Mr. Kim has taken the top floor as his own, and there is NO rooftop area. There is only a washer and no dryer, the washer stinks and leaves marks on your clothes. The sink in my room did not drain and molded with sitting water. Everything smelled musty and I had to ask for new sheets because when we arrived there were items under the covers that belonged to the previous guests. Mr Kim does NOT clean the rooms everyday, I don't think he even cleaned at all. The towels provided are not full sized. "Free breakfast" was white toast and jelly, and only when they were restocked. Upon arrival Mr Kim was not at the hostel and we had to ask a bystander to call his Korean phone. Mr Kim was very pushy and rude overall and didn't care about us after we paid him. There are only 2 fridges in the whole hostel and you have to share. Same goes for clothes hangers, you had to have your underwear in the stairwell! You can find somewhere insanely better for what we paid. The price is not worth it.

Simple, cheap, clean, & helpful owner.

Comfy and has great value for money, besides the great location near Myeongdong. Mr. Kim was very hospitable during our stay. Would definitely go back!

Basic amenities and down the street from the train station and meyoungdong.

Clean, but a little bit smelly which is common for almost all hotels in Korea.
