Respond

Refused to refund money due to Covid situation. They rather point you towards their terms and conditions and are not willing to negotiate. I hope they sleep well at night.

Due to COVID19 our flight was cancelled by the airline which resulted to an involuntary cancellation of our trip. In view of this, with the local government recommendation to avoid non essential travelling to Korea which previously had the 2nd highest affected cases in the world, we requested for a full refund of the hotel booking which has been rejected. While I understand that every bookings has their T&C, the situation should be treated on a case by case basis, given the current COVID19 situation. It is at time like this which reflects the values of the organisations.
Fortunately, not all hotels responded the same, another hotel which I had booked for the trip had allowed for cancellation after reviewing the situation. That was much appreciated.

This hotel is unbelieavable! My mom whch is a senior citizen would like to cancel their reservation due to the covid outbreak in korea. This hotel wont allow them to cancel. Do not book in this hotel as they are hard to deal with.
