Service was great, room had awesome list of amenities and what's even better was they made airconditioning available in the autumn and spring season, rather than forcing guests to rely on the cold air by opening the windows cos it can get very stuffy inside after you've drawn the curtains. Location was awesome as well since it is near all the popular shopping areas and fabulous restaurants.

The hotel was in a good central location and had english speaking staff. They were able to accommodate us when we forgot our charger adapter. They have buffet breakfast on the main floor, which ends at 10AM. Staff are happy to offer suggestions of things to do, and provide you with a card that directs cabbies back to the hotel if you do decide to take a taxi, but beware when you're out that many cabbies won't understand this card and will have a hard time finding the hotel.

This hotel is really excellent one. You can tell starting from the receptionists who are well trained and pretty they speak many languages so you dont have to worry about it The location is perfect in the heart of Seoul Rooms are spacious and clean with all, the facilities you might need for (including washing machines / microwave / utensils … etc) Bathroom: electronically equipped with new technologies There is night club… calm/ family friendly hotel. I love this No swimming pool but they have gym and gakozi Breakfast is very delicious and I can say just enough… Generally speaking this hotel is really recommended.

Main positives about this hotel would be the location, its easy to navigate to either markets by walking and located on a strip of restaurants. Staff are friendly and always happy to get you a taxi if needed. The only gripe would be against the cleaning staff where some days the room was spotless but others the bin was not emptied and sheets were replaced with ones with stains on them. Overall a great hotel and I'd stay again!

Very friendly staff and the location was perfect for me to walk around and do all my shopping. Tons of restaurants near the hotel. Rooms are very clean. Only one problem I had was that I asked to be on the highest floor possible but was on the 8th floor but that was easily rectified when I asked to change rooms. I would recommend staying here and I will be staying here again on my next trip.

Good: The bathhouse/sauna was nice (closes at 10:00pm). Central location. Bad: Lack of facilities. Nowhere in the reception to relax, no lounge, etc. Only your room, gym, and the sauna. Expect the typical East Asian inflexibility/lack of autonomous decision making in procedures. For example, I had a conference call at 6am and they refused to let me sit in the empty, unused conference room for 1 hour to use my phone, insisting I had to pay to rent the entire room. I literally had to sit in my bathtub to make my call without waking anybody. They also insisted on 24, 000 wan (! ) for an extra blanket, despite providing a pull-out couch. I ended up using a bathrobe as a blanket instead. A shameful lack of hospitality & service to guests, compared to international standards. Room service came at 9:30am which seemed like a very odd time, and did a rushed & incomplete job since I was still in the room. Overall I think there are much better and more hospitable hotels for the price.

Nice hotel, all the attractions within walking distance, including shopping quarter. The deluxe room is fully equipped with everything you need. The only drawback is the noise from the street, though lived on the 16th floor, but in the morning and evening the noise of the street and cars interfered.
But the price of the hotel is quite reasonable. Recommend a solid 4 star.

Good hotel with big rooms and other facilities. Best to stay with family since all kitchen is provided. Located very near to traditional Namdaemun market.

We absolutely loved it here! The people are amazing, excellent service and very comfortable accommodations. Location was so convenient to everything. Also really appreciated the nice, well-equipped fitness room. No question we’ll stay here when we go back!

Rooms are nice and clean. The bathhouse on the top floor is a welcome addition. The do have an economic program but I wasn't sure if it was followed while I was there as it looked like my towels were replaced despite print out the card which said not to. Staff was friendly and the hotel itself is near to some great shopping areas. One thing to note is that the bus from the airport drops off at a different Fraser Place hotel and you will have a five to ten minute walk to get to the actual hotel.

Near by train station, bus station, grocery, shopping market. Nice facilities… very satisfied stay here. Very nice service all the staff… they deserve a 5 stars rating.

Perfect location to see sights and explore other areas as it is right by bus terminals and subway stations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was inviting, clean and comfy.

We are very happy with this hotel and would stay here again. This is a review for the smallest of the 3 available room types: The basics — Quiet room, lots of natural light, and excellent AC unit with accurate climate control. The highlights — Extremely comfortable mattress and pillows, lovely rooftop gym and small sauna, great location near Namdaemun and Seoul Station, efficient maid service, and friendly staff. We also liked the affordable breakfast buffet, which mixed a wide range of Korean and Western breakfast basics (rice, kimchi, lotus root, radish soup, seaweed, bacon, grilled tomatoes, omelets to order, yogurt, fruit, cheese and sliced meats, etc. ). And we appreciated other small design choices like the inclusion of a US-style electrical outlet in the room, smart toilet, and lighting control near both the door and the bed. A few caveats: The small rooms are best suited for shorter-term travelers. They lack dresser and ironing board, and the half-closet is petite. The larger rooms (some with washer/dryer and kitchenette) are likely better for longer stays. Dry cleaning and laundry are expensive (dry cleaning was ~USD 35 for a suit or dress and laundry was about USD 8 per item), so if you plan to launder clothes the larger room might quickly become more cost effective. Summary: This is a straight-forward, comfortable hotel in a great location for anyone with business or tourism plans in central Seoul.

Enjoyed my recent stay. The rooms were a great size. It was very upscale. The staff was incredibly helpful and spoke very good English. Never ate at the hotel the dining area seemed classy. If I were to spend more time in Seoul I would stay here.

Staying here for 3 nights. This hotel is very busy. Overall service is very good, particularly room service and housekeeping. We ordered room service for dinner our first night. Missed burgers as we've been dining on Korean cuisine for the past 9 days. Burgers were prepared well, even better than some places back in the states. The breakfast buffet has much to be desired — mainly western style items and selections need to be expanded. Room is simple, miminalistic and clean. There is construction going on just outside. Probably a good idea to ask for a quiet room on the opposite side. The hotel is within walking distance to shopping, food, etc. About 10 min walk to Lotte Plaza, and easy access to underground shopping.

Good location, clean room, and great service!

The shop is very beautiful, the rooms spacious and comfortable, the hotel location is also good. The staff is helpful but they are not all of them can speak very good English. This Breakfast is delicious, with Western and Asian style food. The hotel restaurant is also very tasty, even the seasonal specials are very tasty.

Hotel is near the Metro station and Seoul train station, so no matter what attractions or go to the airport is very convenient. Price is not very high, but far larger than we imagine, bed very comfortable, coffee bottle, there's breakfast in the morning. In addition, even the cleaning staff can speak English here, barrier-free communication! All in all, we will definitely come back again!

Sungnyemun hotel on the edge of limingdong a few minutes away, diagonally opposite the road is Incheon Airport Express, the traffic is very convenient.

Nice, clean, excellent location, great staffs.

The hotel is good value for the location. It isn't very imaginative but the rooms are comfortable and offer air conditioning and good views on a sunny day. There is a street of restaurants and stalls nearby and Myeong Dong is about a 10 minute walk away, offering many more choices. The metro is about 400 meters away so you can get pretty much anywhere relatively quickly.

Excellent hotel and service very good!

I've stayed here with my wife several times. The staff is friendly (in English and Japanese) ; the hotel is clean and designed well; the location is convenient; there is a good gym (for a hotel) ; there's a rooftop hot tub; and the breakfast is decent. I'd happily stay here again.
