This place is a fine, clean, no frills place to stay in Seoul. While the rooms are fairly small and there is a odd window-to-the-shower door you can open, it was a good place for a couple weeks. There's a small gym and laundry facilities. The gym gets crazy hot in the summer, but has just enough equipment for a brief workout. The restaurant has a buffet breakfast which is 20k won if not included, making it not really worth it. Also NB: there's a great sushi restaurant in the green building behind the hotel!

Good hotel, except the staff are kinda obnoxious. The lobby is very imposing and is visually attractive, especially that fireplace on the wall. The business center and the seating is not big, but is very sufficient. The rooms are properly sized. I am just glad that our room was near the elevator. There really wasn't any view from our window, but it was okay. Regarding the staff, their tone is quite condescending and they do not shy away from expressing their exasperation. That is a big damper to the experience, which does not add to the considerable distance that it has to the two train stations that it is closest to.

Better off staying at a love motel. Apart from a nice view, the price of this place is just too high to justify. No intigue, mirrors, hot tubs, unique lighting. Don't get me wrong, this place is nice but I would rather stay somewhere with a little flare for this price.

There is a bus to the airport hotel in the doorway new and simple and elegant inside the gym service is good downstairs there is a convenience store behind the special taxi schedule for foreigners.

The Shilla Stay Yeoksam is right near the heart of Gangnam. However, the hotel is right in between two stations on the green line (line 2) and thus has a 10 minute walk up and down a hill. The room was surprisingly spacious and had international style plugs. The washroom was modern but poorly designed. There was no curtain which meant a lot of water splashed out making the floor wet. There were a few things that were broken or didn't work well in the room, such as: loose desktop lamp switch, loose outlets, difficult to use shower head, and a crooked painting. Overall a decent stay but the hotel needs to work on fixing the minor issues.

It was a clean room. However, since it is located in 'Gangnam' area, the room size is very small. If you are just going to sleep in the room it is good for you. If you want to go to the station, it is 10-15 minutes walking distance.

The rude staff at the front desk. Not sure if this will be approved but her name is Cindy Lim per her name tag. I was asking her for suggestions on closest street food and she uttered a place which I could not understand. I asked her to say it again and she was talking so fast I didn’t understand her. I ask her to show in a map and she made a exasperated look and pulled out a map and sat it on the counter folded. I told her I’m not familiar with the area and if she could please mark the map. Again another look of disgust as she pulls a marker and opens the map and points to the area. I ask her where we were or the hotel location is and she frowns and circles the map. I couldn’t believe her unwillingness to help me out. She should not work the front desk. I felt discriminated on since I was not Korean. She made me feel I was bothering her with my questions. This is my first trip to Korea and will probably be my last. It’s obvious that there is discrimination here. I’ll take and spend my vacation elsewhere. She treated the person after me much better as I stayed to observe her. Maybe because the next guest speaks Korean? Also the room temperature was hard to control. It was — 9C outside but the room was way too hot. I had set the AC to 18C but the room wouldn't cool off. It was still at 25C so I had to turn off the AC and open the windows over night. It was still very warm in the morning at 21C.

Very clean and convenient location room is little smaller but it is ok. Super quality breakfast!

Clean rooms, good breakfast, lots of restaurants nearby and short walk from the subway station.

The room is clean, comfortable and tourist friendly as the power outlet is compatible with plugs from most countries. The hotel also provides shuttle to most companies around Gangnam-gu. The location is also very strategic as there are many eateries nearby. Will definitely stay here again for my business trip.

Really nice & comfortable place to stay for a short time on Seoul. Liked it much, but the breakfast closes too early : (09:30 Keep that in mind while staying @ Shilla.

Stayed one night here and found the room to be very clean, modern and well designed for the average business traveler. Sockets were available in both U. S. Style 2 pin plugs and "round" type C ("European") and F. Room also had a high quality iron and ironing board, and a modern electronic safe. As the room was small the TV was wall-mounted. Wifi was available throughout the hotel and worked well most of the time. Breakfast buffet was above average with a variety of food on offer and self service coffee. Although situated around a 10 minute walk from the subway, there were plenty of small restaurants, pubs and bars just a few minutes walk away. I would happily stay there again if in the area.

Nice modern hotel, clean rooms with enough space. Location is fairly good in gangnam but a bit far to walk to nearest subway if you don't like using the buses.

Carpeted floor, 110v and 220v dual compatible power outlets, clean refrigerator, and at least 13+ inches thick medium firm mattress. Cleanliness equivalent to InterContinental, Hyatt, and Lotte Hotel World among nearby hotels. Small size with low price.

Amazing location. Great service very clean rooms! Breakfast is super good with lots of options, and very attentative staff!

This is a very modern hotel with great views & excellent service. It is relatively near subway stations & right adjacent to a bus stop. The bus to the airport stops right there & runs every half hour or so and costs around 16, 000 won. There are a lot of restaurants in the area with good authentic korean food & other options. The bathroom is large & the bedroom is comfortable.

Clean, modern rooms and a good breakfast selection. Courteous staff and limited street noise. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and the airport bus stops directly in front of the building.

I stayed here one night. Nice hotel, good service and really good buffee.
