This is my second time here, but honestly, they’re not keeping up with nearby standards which just get better. Also, upon checking in, the room was a tad cold given the recent elongated winter conditions. It wasn’t way figuring out how to warm up the room and I just had to depend on extra layers. The slippers are the cheap kind as usual. The furniture is a little run down and there’s only one international outlet making it challenging if you have multiple devices. There are two bottles of complimentary water, there’s a fridge, the water pressure from the shower is decent and it’s not bad. It should be like 3.25 to as high as 3.75 stars, but for the price, I think across the way at Hotel Soulhada for 42 bucks less a night is worth better value. Check out the review.

Location is pretty good, walking distance to train station but the amenities like toothbrush and paste are add-on cost which is quite strange, and don't expect good view out of the room, pretty dirty around it. Other than that, good service, spacious room.

Nice and comfortable place. 2 to 3 blocks from the underground train station and exit has no escalator nor lift.

Great location, friendly staff. Will stay there again for sure.

Our room was large, clean and beautiful.

I stayed there last week for business and completely enjoyed it. I booked the deluxe room that had two very comfortable beds. This is a boutique type hotel and it has designer touches all over including the rooms. My room was very contemporary with wood floors and a large whirlpool bath. The separate rain shower and toilet were in orange shaded glass enclosures. The toilet was one of the luxury models common in Asia that does everything for you at the push of a button. The seat was even heated. The marble center island had the bath sink and mirrors. The daily breakfast buffet was in the restarurant downstairs and was only $13 USD all you can eat. This lovely room was only $125 per night. The staff was always helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Great hotel for GangNam stay.

DON'T GO TO THIS HOTEL — MANAGEMENT IS NOT FAIR WITH GUESTS ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY I booked a room for 10 days 2 months before staying for a business trip. Please note the following before thinking of staying in this hotel: — room windows are very small, some rooms can be really dark — difficult to ventilate the room, — they gave me a twin bed though I am in couple (! ) — cleaning is not so good, lot of dust when I entered the room, especially on aircon — need to ask for a better cleaning — carpet was disgusting, very old — lots of stains, — holes in the linen, — need to pay for razor or toothbrush, — breakfast is simple for the price (13 000W), and often not a buffet, but just 1 plate — price policy is not fair: I booked 2 months ago for 1 price with agoda — I noticed that at the time of my stay, agoda price was lower, with a difference of 100 000W for my whole stay. Manager did not want to do anything, saying it was not my problem (! ) — I dropped an iron, with a mark on the carpet. I immediately told it to the front desk, they asked me 3 days later to pay the full carpet price that is 300 000W! I then told them their carpet was old, used and already dirty. They asked me then to pay 50 000W. I told them it was still too much for an old carpet that should have been changed several years ago. They did not want to change their mind, I had to pay their price!. — area is OK for a short stay, if you work very close to the hotel.

Very high quality hotel. New, very clean and friendly. I'm staying the second time here.

Fabulous Hidden Gangnam Gem (Reviewed on TripAdvisor — 13 July 2013) I just returned from my trip last evening. I spent 8 nights at Grammos Hotel and great GOODNESS! that I found this hotel (Okie, actually my local tour guide found it). With the rate that I paid for against the services and the quality I received, there is no way I gonna give this hotel lower than 4 points. From understanding, this hotel was newly renovated and reopened a few months ago, don't expect to find this with Google Maps Street View (I tried =P). This hotel is behind Nox Hotel and on the small road (Teheran-ro) beside Renaissance Seoul Hotel. Bus 6702 from Airport stops in front of Renaissance Hotel and you can walk to Grammos. This hotel is located in Yeoksamdong of Gangnamgu. Its 5 min walk to Yeoksam station and 1 stop away from Gangnam station. Location wise, its short trip away to Garosugil, Apgujeong and Cheongsamdong. Seocho district (where cheaper shopping can be done) is just right beside Gangnam district. When we reached the lobby, we were received by its warm and friendly staffs. Coffee was served for both my wife and me while we were waiting for our check-in. Even the housekeepers were so friendly. The room was very comfy and spacious. We had enough space to place our big and small luggage bags. My wife loves the separation of the toilet and shower rooms (rain shower included). Bed was of right hardness and we got to have 1 hard and 1 softer pillows to suit each of us.
